Back into pokémon ...

I've been rethinking my team
I'm staying on the Bulk side (I love bulks :) )

I'm revolving my team around Metagross (I love that Metal thingy)
trozei376.png

I want him to be a late guy sweeper
well, those stuff can be looked after later :), when worst comes to worst I'll use agiligross
so next I thought about covering his weakness (Fire, ground seems to be the biggest worry)
so I thought about flygon and Gyarados, both seemed intresting, so I decided both got a spot on my team
The ice and dragon weakness of Flygon is covered by Metagross (those 2 seem to complete each other)

Gengar get's added next with 3 psyhical attackers, I'll get walled to easily
trozei094.png

being weak to pursuit isn't really helpful, but the weakness against dark/pshycic and ghost can
so in comes, ... , either Lucario or Scizor, both are resistanced against dark and ghost
and the fighting weakness is covered by Gengar, I hard lots of painful stuff about Scizor,
so I ended with him

My final pokémon is blissey, as you all know why, getting Wow'd or Waved ain't fun
Blissey is here to prevent that from happening

Metagross @ Leftovers
dpmfsa376.png

Adamant ~ 252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spe
Stealh Rock
EQ
Bullet Punch
MM

not a real fan of explosion so I run MM over it
standart opener, would have gone with another moveset but I needed an opener,
so he ended up being the one
my favorite Spider,

Gyrados@ Leftovers
dpffb130.png

Adamant ~ 156 HP / 108 Atk / 100 Def / 144 Spe
Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Stone Edge
Taunt

DDos but bulkier, I decided going bulky because it survives some hits it normally wouldn't
altho without DD he's more easily outrun, he's still (and always will be) a threat to alot of pokémon
Together with Metagross, they're not weak to alot of things,
making this combo fairly nice

Flygon @ Choice scarf
dpffb330.png

Adamant ~ 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
U-Turn
EQ
Stone Edge
Outrage

I also dislike this being my third pokémon with EQ, but since all 3 serve different purposes, I'll let it slide
a nice revenge killer, and easily switched in for his immunities and resistance

Gengar @ Life Orb
dpffb094.png

timid ~ 252 Sp Atk / 252 Spe / 6 HP
Explosion
Focus Blast
T-bolt
Shadow ball

this time I did run explosion because breeding for HP Fire is too big of a pain,
and sludge bomb just isn't worth it, he's my only special attacker,
so I have to make sure he doesn't get killed to early in the game

Scizor @ Choice band
dpffb212.png

Adamant ~ 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
U turn
Bullet Punch
SuperPower
Pursuit

pretty standart, made to swap into gengars main weaknesses,
Scizor with his decent defence, he'll be able to pack a punch
Choice band makes BP and pursuit a force to recoin with

Blissey @ Leftovers
dpffb242.png

bold ~ 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 sp DEF
Heal Bell
Softboiled
Sesmic toss
T-Wave

Old school bliss, but still works, my major special wall and cleric,
ussually when thrown in I'll use T-wave to open, since it will be thrown in a spec atk
and they ussually swap out (even of they don't, they get crippled)

You should give Gengar a hasty nature if you're using explosion, though if this is a WiFi team, then I realize that it could be boring.
The team seems pretty solid, though you may have some problems with sub-roost Zapdos if accidentally you lost Blissey.
Also, give Blissey toxic over thunder wave, your team is pretty fast, so thunder wave wouldn't be very helpful.

for some reason I dislike Toxic, (since the metagame got faster then in rse >.>)
and T-wave cripples even without the speed lose (in my eyes)

Scizor needs superpower over bb since screens aren't common and superpower does more damage overall. CB pursuit won't work too well if latias manages a CM and fires off surf. Give scizor more EVs in SDef in order to counter Latias well. about 56 EVs is good but more is better. Scizor is ran on almost every team and your gengar is quite weak to him. You have a few resists so I won't request that you run HP Fire but I'd advise it or else some bad prediction can allow scizor to OHKO gengar through either BP or pursuit. Do you trully think that draco meteor on a scarfgon is going to work without any EVs in SAtk? Outrage is one of the reasons Scarfgon is so deadly. It chips away its counters with U-turn, and finishes off with outrage and can be used to revenge kill several weakened poke. Outrage's lock still keeps several set-up sweepers at bay while Draco Meteor will quickly drop your alraedy low SAtk forcing you to switch and allowing the opponent to set-up with little trouble. It's also walled alot more easily. Bulkydos is much better with taunt as it allows it to switch into bulky poke and taunt them to prevent status and phazing aswell as preventing other sweepers from setting up. Stone Edge is also prefered over Ice Fang because that will let you OHKO most Zapdos with SR damage unless they invest heavily in Def. Ice Fand just doesn't pack much punch without max attack. This Gyara is also shut down by other gyaras. Offensive variants outspeed and set up. Defensive can taunt, preventing you from boosting and then proced to set-up or KO with Stone Edge. Either run the usual bulkydos or go with the offensive variant as combining the two doesn't work too well. It's interesting that your running metagross as your lead and late game sweeper. You have alot of support for him so it could work. How often have you managed to sweep with him? GL

that's quite some info :)

I figured you got some point in the stuff you said,
I changed my Gyarados set for the reasons you said, (and ran to original bulkydos)
I gave Scizor your advised Superpower, but I kinda dislike it,
it's the same with Draco meteo, you'll have to switch after it, (which was your reasoning of swapping it with outrage (+ the low Sp atk))
the lowering of atk and Def lowers it's usage (if it were just the 2 defences I would have choicen it either way)
I'll go Superpower now and see later, since BB is a RSE TM, I can easily get it, and swap after

I haven't made this team yet, (it's for ingame)
it's a theoretical team atm
