The next Pet Mod of the Season is upon us! However, this is our first Pet Mod of the Season since our ladders became challenge-only during the last cycle, so what should be Pet Mod of the Season should be focused on what will bring the most people to roomtours in our growing Showdown room, a decision that we really need to get right to bring activity there. After some discussion among the mod team and our Showdown staff, we found that we really only have one clear option for this, being Bad 'n Boosted. Bad 'n Boosted is one of the most, if not the most, active metagame in the entire Pet Mods subforum right now and easily sparks conversation across both our Showdown room and our DragonHeaven side server, so making it playable on the main server should both increase activity in the room and increase the mod's already growing popularity.
As for our Leader's Choice, this will be the much-anticipated Community Create-A-Pet Mod 2024 Random Battle, to finally make due on our promise to make the metagame we created in our Showdown room last year actually playable on Showdown. However, the metagame isn't at all ready to go live yet, so GSC Doubles will stay on the main server until CCAPM is ready, as to not reduce our roomtour pool to just one mod.
