scalding slowbro on turn 5 is unlikely to be a winning play long term. the slowbro is already toxic'd and has revealed that it is not holding leftovers, with a team running cryo and guzzlord with the only other fighting resist being a likely spdef vileplume, it's safe to assume you could be playing a physdef variant of bro, and its safe to assume that z is within the range of sets you'd run on this type of team (no other obvious z-user, although guzz and cryo are possible, passimian is unlikely to be anything other than scarf due to the teams lower than average base speed) and any team that can run z slowbro is capable of running block. as you can see this play ending up costing mans the game, and frankly the risk is too high too be taking this line on turn 5. you're obviously in a bad spot needing to switch something into a likely scald, with accelgor and torterra being okay options that struggle to do much short term and will require you to double for position, but hey they do not immediately lose you the game too and thats kinda nice.

this is a great example of a loss that could have been prevented in the team builder. relying solely on sliggoo to check every special fire, grass, and flying type in the tier is not sustainable and will leave you vulnerable to offensive teams like the one shown here. resting with sliggoo may have delayed this loss by a few turns, but over the long term that sliggoo isn't going to beat a life orb magmortar + viv using resttalk.
an unfortunate critical hit vs the audino, but rest talking against a mon that can high roll to 3hko you is a pretty low percentage play most of the time anyways. mawile as the only real aurorus check before mega'ing with audino makes this early game tough but being proactive and aggressive in the early game by leading mawile and always attacking the threat when given the opportunity can smooth out some bad matchups like this. keep your chin up bud, sometimes you're opp gets a win with a shit mon thats unviable so just pretend that empty space was one of those ig... should prob learn to bring more consistent teams vs wild player like this tho.
