Balance Issues

I've been testing out alot of different teams and I have been trying to come up with a good balanced team. This team is a mash of guys I have been successful with from different teams but they havent clicked quite right I think there are alot of balance issues with my team. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. Im not good at explaining what each person of my team is supposed to do because so bear w/ me.

Aerodactyl @ focus sash
Rock Head
252 speed/252 attack
jolly
-stealth rock
-eq
-rock slide
-taunt
Standard Aerodactyl lead try to get my stealth rock up as fast as possible.

Vaporeon @ leftovers
water absorb
188 hp/252 defense/70 speed
bold
-surf
-ice beam
-wish
-protect
Both Mamoswine and scizor are weak to fire so I felt I needed a bulky water to switch into heatran, infernape, and salamence

Scizor @life orb
technician
252 attack/252 defense
adamant
-bullet punch
-bug bite
-superpower
-swords dance

I love scizor for his ability to sweep teams late game with swords danced bullet punches

Jolteon @ choice specs
volt absorb
252 special attack/252 speed
modest
-thunderbolt
-signal beam
-shadow ball
-hp ice

I love jolteon I use him as an any point in the game sweeper. I generally switch him in when vaporeon is in play to absorb eletric attacks for health. Anything that doesnt resist his thunderbolt runs the riskk of taking alot of damage

Mamoswine @ life orb
252 attack/252 speed
snow veild
adamant
-ice shard
-ice fang
-eq
-stone edge

I picked mamoswine pretty much solely because of his priority stabbed ice attack to take out dragons. He is tough to switch in but when he is in he can cause havoc

Gengar @life orb
Levitate
252 special attack/252 speed
timid
-grass knot
-thunderbolt
-shadow ball
-focus blast

Gengar is another sweeper that I use in hopes of drawing in their tyranitar and screwing him up with a focus blast. I also opted for energy ball because swampert can completely wall my team.

You don't have a good resist to Gyarados, the 4º pokemon most used on the game.

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Intimidate
4 HP, 252 ATK, 252 SPD
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Bounce

Gyarados x Aerodactyl = Gyarados intimidates Aerodactyl, up DD and kill Aero
Gyarados x Vaporeon = Gyarados up DD and kill Vaporeon
Gyarados x Scizor = Gyarados resist all attacks scizor and up DD to sweep
Gyarados x Jolteon = Jolteon wins if Gyarados don't have DD
Gyarados x Mamoswine = Gyarados enter in a earthquake and waterfall kills mamoswine
Gyarados x Gengar = Gengar wins if Gyarados don't have DD

Well, if Gyarados up one dragon dance you can easily lose =/
You can use hp electric on vaporeon ou cscarf on gengar to help with gyah.

Please expand your descriptions as they're definitely not up to rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
