I built this team just after the pokemon Home release and I am surprised how it is still relevant even after all the changes that came. It is a balance offense that focus on enabling Bisharp to deal a lot of damage then let dragapult clean up in the late game:
Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Scald
Classic Seismitoad set. Only switch-in for dragapult and good check to zeraora, just scout for Grass Knot. Max HP and Def let him take physical hits fairly well. Stealth Rock is good if you have time to it up. Knock off to cripple defensive mons and pivots that would want to switch in like corviknight. Earthquake for the STAB and scald for hippodown and corviknight.
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Teleport
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Protect
The obnoxious set. At this point, not running a Clef WishPort on a balanced team would be trolling. Good answer for most specs users but Gengar. Care also for Hydreigon's Flash Cannon.
Mandibuzz @ Leftovers
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Foul Play
- Roost
- Defog
- Taunt
Mandibuzz complement very well Clef and Seismi to form a good defensive core. Max Def let him survive three Iron Heads from Exca to 2HKO it with Foul Play. Can still take resisted and non STAB neutral special moves due to its natural special bulk like dragapult's and aegislash's Shadow Ball and Hydreigon's Dark Pulse. Foul Play to deal with the majority of physical attacker. Roost for sustain. Defog for Hazard Control and Taunt to deal with stall as he outspeed most of defensive mons with its 80 Base Speed and prevents opposing threats from setting up.
Rotom-Heat @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
Offensive pivot. Good switch in to Kyurem's Ice Beam and Zeraora and a counter to most fairy types. Nasty plot to set up freely against Clefables to later do huge damage with Overheat or pivot out with a hard hitting Volt Switch. Thunder Wave helps this team for speed control. It can cripple most of its non ground type switch-ins like Hydreigon, Dragapult, Dracovish, Kommo-o and Terrakion so that Bisharp wouldn't have a hard time breaking later on.
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
Very strong WallBreaker. After a Sword Dance, only Physically Defensive mons that resist him can survive a hit. Iron Head and Knock Off for the STABs and Sucker Punch for priority. He can also come on mon about to defog to gain +2 in attack with his ability enabling him to hit hard without wasting a round on set up.
Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
Classical choice specs set. Its huge speed makes him a good late game cleaner once the enemy team is crippled. Only outspeeded by Zeraora and Scarf users.
Overall, I have a good Matchup against Balanced teams and do well against most of climates. Although I can struggle a bit against sun. Hyper offense match up depends on the pokemons the opponent is using. Stall is a difficult match up though.
