If I was to make a weather team, it would be way too similar to many other teams and easily predictable. This team is designed to support eachothers weaknesses and relies a lot on switching out. It works quite well once used well and the opponent can easily be predicted. There are four sweepers and two walls that have perfect defensive synergy.

Team Building Process:

Using pics would be too tiresome, so I'll just explain it. I started off with bulky Scizor and bulky Starmie as they seemed to work well. Milotic had helped me a lot in the battle frontier in Emerald, so it seemed good as a toxi-staller. Although the Dragon Tail set seems better, this set was more unpredictable
and I was only a beginner back then. Volcarona had great specially offensive capabilities and quiver dance boosted it even further when given the perfect opportunity. Garchomp was fast and a great attacker, so I used it for a while. Magnezone was used to trap steels and kill them off to make way for Garchomp. Starmie and Scizor don't last long and I needed more coverage, so they became more offensive. Entry hazards are nice to restrict the opponent, so Magnezone got replaced by Ferrothorn with rocky helmet, making it hilarious when opponents use outrage. Jellicent and Ferrothorn resist eachother's weaknesses and Jellicent is capable of slowly and painfully crumble most walls that are horrible at attacking. Also, it's a great spin blocker, so Milotic got replaced. Volcarona is too fragile so I tried out Gengar. Salamence is a better sweeper than Garchomp and uses moxie well late game when everything's weak. Gengar is also fragile, so Hydreigon provided more coverage that the team has weakness to.

Starmie @ Expert Belt
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature

- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam

Starmie is fast and great at killing of bulky waters and threatening dragons
with it's speed ranking forth in the tier. It's speed let's it rapid spin away the
hazards late game when the setters are dead... just before it dies. As my team
needs a lot of switching, Starmie is a good choice. Starmie is extremely fragile
and is my best counter for rain teams. Expert belt is run over life orb as I
mainly because it can be easily stalled and otherwise wastes 10% HP to deal
5% when opponent switches out. Also great for killing Breloom and Gliscor,
which are pretty annoying against this team. Problems are it's fragileness and
very quick deaths.

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Trait: Cursed Body
EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 SDef
Calm Nature

- Surf
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt

Jellicent is used to absorb damage, recover, render walls useless and ruin
physical sweepers. Water absorb seems more useful, but cursed body and
recover spamming on the opponent's most threatening attack until it doesn't
work anymore, giving Jellicent an opening to strike. Jellicent also manages to
outspeed most walls, being able to burn and taunt it. Also tag teams with
Ferrothorn to stall. Once the opponent figures out the strategy, I stop using it
and get a perfect opportunity to use a move. Problems are outrages when
Ferrothorn is dead and other powerful physical attacks can usually KO it.

Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd

- Spikes
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock

Ferrothorn is the entry setter and psychologist for dragons outraging. It has
incredible defense and a nice spread on stats. As stated previously it resists
it's physical weaknesses, most of which are contact and deal 30% to the
attacker. Stealth rock ruins most focus sash holders and Dragonite's multiscale
. Protect spikes and leech seed work well together, recovering and resting and
turn and laying spikes the next. Problem is fire attacks and Ferrothorn is
complete taunt bait.

Hydreigon (F) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature

- Draco Meteor
- Flamethrower
- Earthquake
- Superpower

Hydreigon's role is to provide coverage and kill things the rest of the team suck
at killing. It rampages and lowers it's stats until it's forced to switch out. Earth
power seemed better at first, but most walls that are weak to ground suck and
being physically defensive. Flamethrower is for things like Skarmory and
Venusaur with more reliability than fire blast. Also good and checking Rotom-W
and Gliscor, which prove to be extremely annoying. Main problem is a mach
punch and it's moderately slow sometimes. Also can kill Ninetales, which my
team appears to be weak to. Also doesn't get hurt too badly from an ice shard.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature

- U-turn
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Superpower

Scizor places equal 23rd on the highest attack in the whole national dex.
combined with priority bullet punch, it can pretty much 2HKO every sweeper
that doesn't resist it. It also scares psychics, and pursuit guarantees the kill.
U-turn isn't that great considering Scizor's speed, but dealing about 1/4 of
health while switching out is nice. Most walls are weak to fighting, so
superpower is a nice attack.

Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature

- Fire Blast
- Dragon Claw
- Outrage
- Earthquake

Salamence is the late game sweeper, coming out as a revenge killer on
something weakened down to get a free +1 attack. Scizor and Hydreigon work
to get rid of the steels to allow Salamence to sweep unhindered. Problem is ice
shard and any other scarf users. Stealth rock also sucks. I don't really like fire
blast and I'd really prefer Stone Edge, but many people seem to recommend it.

Threats:
  • Gliscor
  • Ninetales
  • Rotom-W
  • Gyarados
  • Dragonite
  • Gastrodon
  • Volcarona
  • Latios
  • Toxicroak
  • Venusaur

After Gliscor has a substitute, I can only hope that Starmie or Hydreigon have a way of dealing with it. Starmie is quite effective, but it dies early so hope is usually lost. Hydreigon can OHKO with Draco Meteor, but it's outsped and it's SAtk gets halved.
Although Ninetales seems like a pathetic pokemon people would only use for permanent sun, solarbeam + flame thrower defeat 4/6 pokemon, Hydreigon being the only thing that can kill it. It's even more troublesome when Hydreigon or Salamence get burnt from will-o-wisp.
Rotom-W is highly annoying and outspeeds all be Starmie and Salemence, Starmie dying easily. Hydreigon can KO with Draco Meteor, but a volt switch easily get's it out of that problem. Nothing is super effective against it on my team either.
Gyarados with a sub practically destroys my team by getting a D-Dance and I have absolutely nothing to stop it. Starmie can prevent it. If it doesn't, I'm screwed.
Dragonite also D-dances and destroys my team the same way Gyarados does.
Gastrodon walls practically everything and has counters fo everything that attempts to lay a finger on it.
Volcarona murders me after just two quiver dances.
Latios outspeeds my whole team with a scarf and doesn't have any contact moves where Ferrothorn may prove useful.
Toxicroak after a sub and bulk up is the same story and Gyarados.
Venusaur kills after a growth in sun. If weakened, Sczor can bullet punch. If not, I'm dead.
