hi, kinda new to competitive pokemon and was looking for some advice on this team.

@ Choice Specs
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power [Grass]

description:
i chose to play an offensive spec'd politoed because of the pure power spec boosted hydro pump has under rain, which got me quite a few surprise kills. also he can surprise people with the focus blast / hp [grass] coverage.

(M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Agility
- Thunder
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast

description:
at first i wanted to go for tornadus, but then noticed electric would fuck me over even harder. volt absorb comes handy and this guy does quite some sweeping after an agility boost with his huge spatk base.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 236 SDef / 20 Spd
Careful Nature
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- Wish
- Protect

description:
h4x. this set is infamous and extremely annoying to play against, gives my team the much needed resists, para and wish support.

669.png
@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- X-Scissor
- Rock Slide

description:

unsure about this one. i wanted a revenge killer and obviously terrakion came to mind. sometimes he does amazing, other times he just fails. scarf forces him to use an useless move on the fourth slot so i'm not sure if this is the best pick for my team. when he excels he obviously brings extremely strong STABs on the table.

381.png
(M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Roost

description:

it's latios, he's fast and hits hard. i'm not sure about the HP fire under rain though, but i can't think of any other alternative. he fucks over fighting types and things like venusaur very well.

503.png
@ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 232 HP / 56 SAtk / 220 Spd
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hidden Power [Ice]

description:
bulky rain abuser. hits decent and takes away the ground and fighting weakness from my team.

i'm not too good at recognizing weaknesses so if anyone with more experience minds to help that'd be nice.

Rule 3 said:
Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it. The standard description length required is three to four lines, if you need more insight look on the detail part, check out the RMT Archive.
You need a minimum of three lines of descriptions for each Pokemon. PM me your updated descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
