Swampert @ Leftovers
Torrent
Relaxed [+Def -Spd]
240 HP | 216 Def | 52 Sp.Atk
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
  • Earthquake: Good to counter other leads weak to Ground. Especially the Jirachi leads that have gotten popular lately.
  • Ice Beam: This helps kill any threats such as Zapdos, Flygon, Salamence, and Hippowdon. Almost always come in handy.
  • Stealth Rock: Swampert sets up Stealth Rock well. Usually no leads have a Grass Attack to use against Swampert to OHKO instantly, the only lead I can't set up against usually is Infernape, carrying Grass Knot.
  • Roar: Good for phazing after I have set up a Stealth Rock. Or if I just wanna get a good look at my opponents team.
I chose Swampert as my teams lead because I feel Swampert would set up Stealth Rock best for this team. I don't have many resistances to support an Azelf lead consistantly IMO. Also has great coverage with Ice Beam and Hydro Pump together.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Blaze
Naive [+Spd -Sp.Def]
64 Atk | 252 Sp.Atk | 192 Spd
- Fire Blast
- Close Combat
- Hidden Power [Water]
- Grass Knot
  • Fire Blast: Basic STAB and chose this over Flamethrower for more damage.
  • Close Combat: Helps counter things like Tyranitar, Heatran, Snorlax, and Blissey who could pose as a problem for me.
  • Hidden Power [Water]: Gives me better type coverage paired up with Fire and Grass also. This can do some nifty damage to the likes of other Infernape or Fire type in the meta game.
  • Grass Knot: Counters lead Swampert's pretty well. With faster speed it usually gets the first hit in.
I chose Infernape to be apart of this team to counter problematic Pokemon such as Heatran and lead Swampert. Usually helps me counter things such as Blissey so my team isn't stalled by one. It can also help make an attempt to maybe 2HKO a Gyarados if ever desperate.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Serene Grace
Impish [+Def -Sp.Atk]
240 HP | 160 Def | 76 Sp.Def | 32 Spd
- Wish
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Wave
  • Wish: I feel in a Balanced Team Wish Support Jirachi is probably one of the best Wish passers to pick from. So I chose him to be in the team.
  • Zen Headbutt: Causes a 40% chance of flinch with Serene Grace. Also Jirachi's basic STAB move.
  • Ice Punch: Helps counter the likes of Salamence, Flygon, and Zapdos. Has been working well so far.
  • Thunder Wave: This helps shuts down a lot of physical threats in the game. I can paralyze then start flinching for a kill.
I chose Jirachi because I feel he is probably the best Wish Passer in a Balanced Team. Vaporeon may have done well also, but I prefer Jirachi for it's better type coverage when needed.

Flygon @ Choice Scarf
Levitate
Adamant [+Atk -Sp.Atk]
80 HP | 252 Atk | 176 Spd
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stone Edge
  • Outrage: Outrage for STAB and helps counter Salamence, some Flygon's, and Hippowdon leads. It is also a very strong move after getting a STAB from Flygon. Causes problems for a lot of Pokemon,
  • Earthquake: Another STAB move and helps counter Heatran. Probably my best Heatran counter I have on my team.
  • U-Turn: Scouts the opponents team and helps counter the likes of Celebi.
  • Stone Edge: Kills Gyarados and Zapdos. 2 Pokemon that can be a problem for this team.
I chose Flygon to be apart of this team because I don;t have enough resistances against Ghost to really support the likes of Latias. I also like Flygon in here because he can switch in on Jirachi's weaknesses as Jirachi can witch back in on Flygon's. I chose these 2 Pokemon together to help counter some common threats with there perfect resistances for eachother. It really helps to allow Jirachi to pull off more successful Wishes.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Technician
Adamant [+Atk -Sp.Atk]
252 HP | 252 Atk | 4 Spd
- U-Turn
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
- Brick Break
  • U-Turn: Scouts out my opponents team and counters Celebi.
  • Bullet Punch: Helps counter Gengar and Tyranitar. Neither are ever safe when facing a Scizor.
  • Pursuit: Probably the best Gengar counter in the game as of right now. Gengar has nothing to really hurt Scizor with. So this move really ruins Gengar's day.
  • Brick Break: Breaks any Light Screens or Reflects. Another Fighting move and also helps counter a Blissey without Flamethrower.
I chose Scizor to be apart of this team because it seems to have a huge impact in the current meta game. It is also my best counter to ghost/psychic Pokemon. I can counter and wall a lot of Pokemon with this set. Choice Band makes my move choices limited but it still helps a lot.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Pressure
Bold [+Def -Atk]
252 HP | 80 Sp.Atk | 176 Spd
- Roost
- Thunderbolt
- Roar
- Heat Wave
  • Roost: Heals off any damage and makes Zapdos more bulky.
  • Thunderbolt: This does more damage then Discharge, though I do enjoy the extra status of discharge, in the end I needed this more though.
  • Roar: Secondary phazer on my team. helps stir up some Stealth Rock damage and allows me to see there team.
  • Heat Wave: Helps against Jirachi or any other Pokemon weak to Fire. Celebi being a major threat can't usually take many hits from a Heat Wave.
I chose Zapdos for it's bulkiness and type coverage it offers for this team. It is also a very tough Pokemon to take down in the current meta game and helps with the team resistances this team needs.

As far as Swampert goes, I think that Roar > Hydro Pump seeing how you don't have a Hazer or PHazer.

I doubt you'll need hidden power grass on zapdos, since you're already using grass knot.

Pray you KO Blissey when you superpower, as many can OHKO w/ flamethrower.

Make Zapdos faster (for gyarados) and give it thunderbolt, and give Jirachi T-wave. I would test that.

Edit: ...Or just change Zapdos to jolteon to outspeed gyarados after a ddance.

Hmm. I would make your Scizor more utility-like (without superpower) and make your infernape a mixape.

I hope you've found a way to deal with special sweepers, lol. Like I said before, making scizor more defensive (specially) will help.

gl w/ your team (:

Edit: Glad you found my suggestions useful. =)
