Balanced Team

So I made a new team, I can usually wipe out 4-5 of the opponents pokemon, but then I lose at the last second. Any advice to make it so I can win these battles instead of coming close?

Here's my team:
Glaceon (Lvl100)
Nature: Bold
Ability: Snow Cloak
Held Item: Icicle Plate (Might change this)
Evs: 252SpA/162SpD/96Def
Moves: Blizzard, Shadow Ball, Hail, Barrier
The idea of this glaceon is to setup hail, then use barrier. After this it has stat boosts plus the extra damage with Blizzard when Hail is up. This lets glaceon wipe out dragons, and other types with ease. Shadow ball is on this glaceon to do damage when needed.

Swampert (Lvl100)
Nature: Bold
Ability: Torrent
Held Item: Soft Sand
Evs:252Hp/252Def/4SpD
Moves: Hydro Cannon, Stealth Rock, Earthquake, Ice Punch
This swampert is setup to be a defensive tank. It can setup stealth rocks, then take out Fire types, and other types easily. Ice punch is on there to take down grass types, which would be super effective against swampert.

Blissey (Lvl100)
Nature: Calm
Ability: Natural Cure
Held Item: Big Root
Evs:252Hp/252SpD/4Def
Moves: Soft-Boiled, Egg Bomb, Calm Mind, Dazzling Gleam
Blissey is here to be a Special Defensive tank. with 714 hp, its hard to take down. I gave blissey Big Root so that Soft Boiled heals more than it normally would. This keeps Blissey alive for a long time, which stalls. Plus, Blissey is normal type, which has very few weaknesses.

Electivire (Lvl100)
Nature: lonely
Ability: Motor Drive
Held item: None
Evs:252Atk/252SpD/4SpA
Moves: Giga Impact, Ice Punch, meditate, Volt switch
Electivire is a good physical sweeper. Using giga impact does loads of damage to almost anything. Ice punch takes out ground types, which would be super effective against Electivire. Volt switch is there if i want to switch him out for any reason, then Meditate raises his attack stat.

Mega Banette (Lvl100)
Nature: Sassy
Ability: insomnia
Held item: Banettite
Evs:252SpA/252Atk/4Hp
Moves: Shadow Ball, Sucker Punch, Hex, Curse
Banette is a good attacker/Special attacker. This makes the use of Sucker punch and shadow ball very effective. Curse is there when I feel like Banette has no chance, so it kill him, then does damage to the enemy.

Ninetales (Lvl100)
Nature: Lonely
Ability: Flash Fire
Held Item: Leftovers
Evs:252SpA/252Atk/4Spe
Moves: Flare Blitz, Fire Blast, Solar Beam, Calm Mind
Ninetails is a good sweepeer from every angle, it is fast, with good attack/ special attack stats. It also has decent SpD and Defense stats. This makes it a good pokemon to switch into and wipe out many pokemon at once. Leftovers is on Ninetails, so it makes up for the recoil taken when using Flare Blitz.

This is my team, tell me what you think I should change. I also need help figuring out what items to put on each pokemon, considering I'm not very smart about the items in pokemon. Thanks!

Well, I see Blissey so it's OU. Well...I can see aegislash sweep your team after two sd and sr. And big root doesn't add softboiled added recovery. Also, Blissey function as a sp. wall than an attacker. Volt switch is a sp. att not a physical att. Curse is bad for Banette. Change it to destiny bond. If you really like to use Glaceon (which I think is your favorite) perhaps you should play in UU. Hope I helped :)

Hello and welcome to Smogon! I'm not trying to be rude by calling you a noob or anything, but you may want to check this out: http://www.smogon.com/forums/forums/battling-101.42/
It is Smogon's Battling 101 forum. They'll hook you up with a really good player to help you along with tea building and playing.
Some basic things though.
Moves with a recharge turn are never good. The stellar 150 base power may seem great, but over the two turns you only average 75 base power per turn

I'll do an actual rate of this team later
