ORAS LC Ball is Life

Let me tell you something: I love Mienfoo. I fucking played Mienfoo in every single of my little cup teams for 4 gens including this one (BW, BW2, XY, ORAS). But I think that he is really really really really overused. I mean, there is no fucking LC team without a mienfoo. Also, I hate seeing and building that same regenerator voltturn shit on mienfoongus core and I want to play something different.

I am not trying to circumvent the word filter. I'm not sure if the word "motherfucker" is in that filter. If it is, I'm going to delete all the "circumvention attempts" myself.

EDIT: I typed the word "motherfucker" in different styles and for what it is worth, I saw that it didn't get filtered (at least not replaced by ************ or stuff like that) so I'm keeping the member descriptions as they are. For now.

MO: Recover, outspeed, kill.

Teambuilding process:

1- Larvesta: I somehow decided that I haven't seen Larvesta for enough times. And I actually would like to build a team around this guy (actually, I wanted to build a team around Honedge, but he had too many weaknesses to be covered).
2- Larvesta + Chinchou: I first recruited Chinchou because he resists Larvesta's weaknesses and is a good pokemon anyway, also he can form a voltturn type of core with Larvesta.
3- Larvesta + Chinchou + Cranidos: I found the team to be low speed overall, and I like scarf Cranidos, so...
4- Larvesta + Chinchou + Archen + Cranidos: I completed my defensive VoltTurn core with Archen.
5- Larvesta + Chinchou + Natu + Cranidos: I decided that I've seen enough of Archen as well. Natu can block hazards as well, so I picked Natu. And I like Natu anyway. Who doesn't like Natu.
6- Larvesta + Chinchou + Natu + Cranidos + Tyrunt: I wanted a physical set up sweeper.
7- Larvesta + Chinchou + Natu + Cranidos + Tyrunt + Gastly: I wanted a special sweeper and I would either take Abra or this guy. I needed an answer for mono fairies anyway, Gastly's stab sludge bomb gives me that.
8- Larvesta + Chinchou + Natu + Cranidos + Cacnea+ Gastly: I found out that I had no switch-ins to a chinchou other than my own chinchou. That's why Cacnea is in. And Tyrunt wasn't doing shit anyway.
9- Larvesta + Staryu + Natu + Cranidos + Cacnea+ Gastly: Natu was blocking hazards all that well, but if the opponent somehow lands the hazards, I had no way of cleaning it up and I have 2 pokemon that absolutely hate rocks.

Homicide (Larvesta) (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 5
EVs: 76 HP / 236 Atk / 156 Def / 36 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Morning Sun
- U-turn
- Will-O-Wisp

This muhfucka right here has a lot more to offer than just scoring 26 on Ron Muhfuckin Artest in the final game of a tournament. He spreads status like no tomorrow, scouts with U-Turn and dents holes in anyone who doesn't resist his STAB Flare Blitz.

cranidos.gif

P Shitty (Cranidos) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 236 Atk / 60 SpD / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Thunder Punch

This muhfucka is my fucking trump card. Nobody expects a scarf Cranidos and I don't even know why. He has the optimal base speed for a scarfer and he just nabs OHKOs on whoever isn't prepared for and scores 40 on Kevin Durant knocking him and his entire team the fuck out of the tournament in his free time. There are very few things that don't get KO'd by his Stone Edge and Earthquake, like Honedge and Staryu, and they get KO'd by his 3rd and 4th moves respectively.

natu.gif

WholeLottaGame (Natu) (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Bounce
Level: 5
EVs: 196 HP / 8 Atk / 156 Def / 36 SpA / 76 SpD / 36 Spe
Bold Nature
- Psychic
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- Thunder Wave

This muhfucka is my counter to stupid shit like Foongus, Ferroseed and Cottonee. He kills them with ease while not taking shit from their stupid gimmicks, like rocks or status and roosts away all the little chips they do to him. Scoring 32 on Vince Carter is a good bonus as well.

cacnea.gif

Bone Collector (Cacnea) (M) @ Eviolite
Ability: Water Absorb
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 156 Atk / 116 Def / 196 SpD
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch
- Seed Bomb

This muhfucka completes my defensive core. Everyone who played more than 10 games in UU knows what SD boosted Sucker Punch does (TY Absol for that bonkerz broken combo, I love you, no homo, dead serious) to whoever doesn't resist. Being slower doesn't matter that much anyway (that is, AFTER sd boost) because he can get his HP back from Drain Punch anyway. I switch this motherfucker into Chinchou, which every team has, and set up my SD. Rest of the game is just plain sailing. This type of shit is exactly why I run ice beam on all my chinchou variants.

What this muhfucka does to a Chinchou without ice beam is even more embarrassing than this shit

gastly.gif

Secret Weapon (Gastly) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Level: 5
EVs: 40 Def / 196 SpA / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- Giga Drain

Well, rest of my team might get walled out by mono fairy types BUT NO MO THANKS TO THIS MO FO. Revenge killin and spin blockin is his EM OH, if you don't resist him stay away from him HOE.

He does whatever the rest of my team needs him to. He can check Chinchou and Snubbull like they are a bunch of worthless pieces of shit, like Kemba Walker and Brandon Jennings, OHKOing both just like the real secret weapon scored 50 on real Kemba Walker and Brandon Jennings. His high speed and not-so-bad coverage also lets him to revenge kill.

staryu.gif

Skip 2 My Lou (Staryu) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 196 SpA / 236 Spe
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Ice Beam
- Scald

This muhfucka... well, I decided that my team doesn't own people one sided enough if their team has entry hazards, so this muhfucka replaced The Professor (my Chinchou). If some shit actually manages to land hazards on WholeLottaGame, this muhfucka comes in to clean shit up. He outspeeds muhfuckaz and dents holes. He's one of the fastest non-scarfers out there, rivaled only by Elekid, Voltorb, Diglett and Abra. Ice beam wrecks shit against shitty shit like Lileep who can just replace rocks right after this muhfucka spins, scald can land some money burn hax on sturdy using shits and recover is just... recover.

Just some Rapid Spin Skip 2 My Lou action

Hi there, LoboMuzenza!

This is an interesting team you have here and I can see that you put some thought into dealing with certain key threats. However, I'm seeing a few vulnerabilities in the team that I will help you patch up. As it is currently, your team is very weak to Fletchling and Chinchou (even though Cacnea can check Chinchou sometimes if played correctly). There are also some fixes that could make your movesets more effective, and I'll be helping you out there as well. :)

Archen @ Eviolite
Level: 5
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 236 HP / 156 Def / 76 SpD / 36 Spe
Impish Nature
- Rock Slide
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock

Because you already have a hazard remover in Staryu, and because Natu doesn't provide very much for the team otherwise, I'd like to recommend replacing Natu with Archen. This particular Archen set allows your team a backbone in the addition of Stealth Rock to assist on the offensive front as well as a self-healing Flying-type counter on the defensive. Earthquake is on the set to shatter the Steel-types that might come in expecting to tank one of Archen's STABs, especially Magnemite. Fletchling is no longer an issue for this team if this change is made, and it also makes the team more flexible and capable in general.

Foongus @ Eviolite
Level: 5
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 124 HP / 160 Def / 160 SpD
Bold Nature
- Spore
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power Fighting

While Cacnea's ability to switch into Scald for recovery is indeed very valuable, a well played Chinchou will usually find itself Volt Switching out against Cacnea instead and switching to something that shifts momentum, while Cacnea's lack of staying power combined with its poor bulk and many weaknesses will usually leave it as a liability for this team. In addition, this team doesn't really have anything to switch into a Fighting-type with Knock Off, and Larvesta is already hard-pressed to take on Pawniard, so I'd like to suggest something that alleviates all of these issues, which is exchanging Cacnea for Foongus. Regenerator lets your Chinchou check have longevity throughout games, and its Poison typing and good bulk make it an excellent switch-in to Fighting-types and Knock Off. Spore also gives the team great utility, and Hidden Power Fighting helps to keep Pawniard at bay, a Pokemon that can otherwise be a problem if Larvesta has fainted or is in low health.

P Shitty (Cranidos) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sheer Force
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 236 Atk / 60 SpD / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Thunder Punch -> Zen Headbutt

Not much to say here except that Thunder Punch is a sub-par move on the set for a very simple reason: Electric is super effective on only Water and Flying. STAB Stone Edge against a Water-type deals the same amount of damage as a super effective Thunder Punch does, making the coverage redundant, while Stone Edge clearly does more to Flying-types than Thunder Punch does. There are no Water/Steel or Water/Fighting types in Little Cup to make this justifiable at all. Fighting-types such as Mienfoo and Timburr are common switch-ins to Cranidos, and as such, it wouldn't hurt to replace your unneeded coverage move with Zen Headbutt, to give them a nice surprise on the switch-in. :)

gastly.gif

Secret Weapon (Gastly) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Level: 5
EVs: 40 Def / 196 SpA / 76 SpD / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- Giga Drain -> Destiny Bond

Giga Drain generally provides poor coverage here and its side effect of draining health from an enemy to restore Gastly's health is also not very helpful, considering that Gastly can't take any hits anyway. It will typically go down no matter how much health it has if it gets hit even neutrally. As such, I'd like to suggest replacing this move with Destiny Bond, so that if Gastly has to die, you can force its enemy to share the same fate. Dazzling Gleam hits Fighting-types notably harder than Sludge Bomb, and other members of the team (that can actually take a hit) are equipped for dealing with Pawniard, so I'll leave Dazzling Gleam where it is.

This concludes my rate! I hope you found my suggestions helpful and I wish you luck with your team!

Hi there LoboMuzenza nice creative team there, I like it!

However, it does have some few notable flaws such as being Chinchou and Fletchling weak as stated by Goddess Briyella and I totally agree with her suggestion of changing Natu for Defensive Archen as Natu doesn't add much to your team and you already have a hazards remover in Staryu and on the other hand Defensive Archen allows you to counter Fletchling as well as setting up rocks which your team really will benefit from as it lets you deal with non-Endure Sturdy Magnemite more reliably. I also agree with her suggestion of using Foongus over Cacnea and Zen Headbutt on Cranidos for the reasons she stated too.

Anyways I do have some few suggestions here and there too: first of all I suggest using Psychic over Ice Beam on Staryu, I don't see much use for Ice Beam especially with Larvesta and Gastly in your team and they can deal with Grass-types that threaten Staryu, meanwhile Psychic let's you deal with Fighting-types that can be problematic for your team such as Croagunk and be also be able to OHKO Gastly, I would've suggested a defensive spread to be able to check Drilbur but with Foongus in your squad it won't be much of a problem.

I also suggest using Rock Slide over Stone Edge on Cranidos as it literally hits as much as Stone Edge does thanks to Sheer Force (SE isn't boosted by it btw) and Rock Slide has a higher accuracy and also a chance to flinch which is always appreciated.

Lastly, and this is just a matter of personal preferences, I think Substitute and Hidden Power Fighting on Gastly will be more helpful and fit in the team better than your current set as you have a slight Pawniard weakness and Sub+HP Fight kind of fixes that. Make sure to change your spread to 200 SpA / 80 SpD / 200 Spe as HP drops your Speed and SpA.

Anyways that's all I have to say about your team, like I said I like how creative and fun this team is. Good luck and I hope I helped!

Wow. Why hell yes. I saw a weird dream involving pokemon and losing a battle after a real bad switch, and after shrugging that off, the first thing I thought was "fletchling wrecks my entire team". (This part was written 7 hours ago and saved as draft, I thought I posted that thing)

Keeping Natu in the team while having Staryu on the team as well was a bad choice overall. I switched him for a defensive Archen. SR support is appreciated as well. I never imagined Archen was this good and hitting this hard even with a defensive spread.

It was either hax flying all over the place (4 percenters like two-in-a-row stone edge miss or 9 percenters like two-in-a-row scald burn) or random gimmicks (scarf Archen or Belly Drum-Extreme Speed Zigzagoon) that made me lose games (or Yagura happened. That team tho), for now. Despite Cacnea wasn't doing bad at all (3 battles with 4+ KOs in 18 and he wasn't even in half of them), I found Foongus to be superior. As my team relies on recovery by the moves, the fact that Foongus deals with hazard setters, especially Surskit, a lot better than Cacnea made him stay ("Foongus used Spore. Surskit is fast asleep." anyone?).
Battle against Yagura reminded me of the following fact though: I'm having a real hard time switching into electric type attacks, so I will now test the following:

1- Drilbur over Archen
2- Drilbur+Chinchou over Staryu+Archen

For #1, I'm losing my only fletchling counter and I don't like that fact. For #2 though.. I actually like Staryu and the speed he provides for the team, so keeping the team as it is right now is my invisible 3rd option.
