I think that it is really unfair when you gotta wait to minutes to win because someone decided not to play their game. They should at least be punished for not playing their game because that person can just lose then join another game then the next person needs to wait 2 minutes to win. Why should that person get to go from battle to battle making people's day worse. I find it really annoying and it makes me want to just stop playing this game. So I think that there should be at least a 5 min ban from battle if you lose by timer or you can report them and they will get in trouble.

Rejected Ban someone from battling a few minutes they lose by timer.

Pretty impractical and unnecessary. This also wouldn't be fair to people who disconnect because of bad wifi. If someone is purposefully losing via timer then their "punishment", if you will, is losing the battle / points. Just start another battle if it's that irritating and let the timer do the rest for your battle.
Also, the case was worse prior to this. The most recent update pertaining to the timer is that each round, less time is given to the inactive player. It wasn't like that before.

Hey man people sometimes can forget that they're playing a battle or they get caught up in something else, i am a multitasker myself and i usually search for a battle while trying to finish off some work or go do something.
If you feel annoyed by this just turn on the timer and play another battle. the battle auto ends and you can just click off it.

This is already an issue with banning people in the game itself. People who have bad internet as said above gets banned just because they disconnect from it. People are already punished for being obnoxious with timerstalling already anyway.

i totally agree with this as my internet sucks and i usually get disconnected several times. Adding a punishment/ ban for this reason would benefit no one
Closing this. As many have had, there are plenty of perfectly legitimate, non-malicious reasons to time out in a match, and losing that game and ladder points is punishment enough.
