- Power Whip deals with Pokemon like Ursaluna, Manaphy, and non-Custap Berry Primarina.
- Rock Slide can OHKO Volcarona.
- Bullet Seed lets Zarude beat Donphan and Counter Ogerpon.
- Low Kick can be a helpful tool against some Hisuian Goodra variants.
- The EVs allow Zarude to survive a Gunk Shot from Adamant Hoopa-U as well as outspeed Garchomp.
- Zarude struggles against physically defensive Pokemon such as Corviknight and Landorus-T as well as foes that can outspeed it such as Iron Valiant, Choice Band Dragapult, and Walking Wake. Pairing Zarude with Pokemon such as Primarina and Sylveon can mitigate these weaknesses.

- Knock Off hits Pokemon such as Pecharunt, Spectrier, and non-Weakness Policy Metagross for large damage, alongside removing items such as Choice Band. (Removing from what? Mention Hoopa or other examples specifically)
- Power Whip deals with Pokemon like Primarina, Ursaluna, and Ogerpon-Wellspring (you dont win into wellspring consistently enough with this. Manaphy is probably the better example)
- Low Kick is for Roaring Moon and Hisuian Goodra (loses to chople, is a roll vs custap. P-z is a better example)
- Bullet Seed lets you beat Donphan and Counter Ogerpon.
- The defensive EVs will survive a Gunk Shot from Adamant Hoopa-Unbound, as well as a Moonblast from Modest Primarina on the special side.
- The Speed EVs are made to outspeed Base 90 Pokemon, such as Porygon-Z and Hisuian Arcanine. (You lose to intimidate harc)
- Zarude struggles against physically defensive Pokemon such as Corviknight and Landorus-T, as well as those that can ouspeed it such as Iron Valiant, Dragapult, and Walking Wake. Pairing Zarude with Pokemon such as Primarina and Sylveon can mitigate its weaknesses.

Tanks Max Attack Hoopa-U Gunk Shot and Max Special Attack Primarina Moonblast, Speed for Porygon-Z, rest in Attack.
