ORAS OU Banded Tyranitar and Mega Scizor Core, new player looking for help!

I wanted to create a team using the core of Choice Band Tyranitar and Mega Scizor, as they work very well together, as banded tyranitar is probably the most powerful pursuit user in OU, being able to trap and do significant damage to the checks of scizor such as heatran. Here is how I went with the teambuilding process.

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Superpower

This pokemon is extremely powerful! It does incredible damage with its STAB moves. It does heavy damage to basically everything besides physically bulky mons such as ferrothorn. It can 2hko skarmory with stone edge after rocks! This pokemon is so powerful and synergizes so well with Mega Scizor that I had to put it on the team. I put only 76 speed ev's to speed creep skarmory and to maximize bulk.

Scizor-Mega @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Superpower
- Bullet Punch

I used the standard bulky swords dance set for Mega Scizor. Its bullet bunch can inflict heavy damage to the fairy types that tyranitar has trouble with. Superpower is for steel types, as i opted not to use knock off as I have two more knock off users on the team.

Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spe
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Knock Off
- Earthquake

The next mon on the team, seismitoad, helps my team in a number of ways. First, it can set up stealth rock. Second, it provides great utility with knock off and scald. Third, it serves as a good check to Rotom-W and electric types such as Zapdos.

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Thunder Wave

I know, I know, everyone hates this set, but I really needed a mega sableye check, as it beats the previous three mons. Also, spreading around paralysis really helps my team. Also, it sort of checks keldeo, as after 1 calm mind boost it avoids the 2hko from a LO Hydro pump and can OHKO with moonblast.

Latios (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
- Roost

LO Latios is so powerful! Droppin' dracos simply does so much damage to nearly everything in the metagame! Plus, it acts as yet another keldeo check. I needed thunderbolt on this mon as I lose to Tail glow manaphy without it.

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Last but certainly not least, Scarf Lando-T. This mon along with Latios checks so much of the metagame. It outspeeds and OHKOs both Zards, along with providing a secondary check for talonflame. Plus, U-turn provides momentum for my team.

Overall, I think that I have built a solid team. However, I am somewhat new, and am looking for suggestions! Thanks for reading my team, and here is the importable version!

Tyranitar @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Atk / 76 Spe

- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Crunch
- Superpower

Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 44 Atk / 16 Def / 200 SpD

- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Superpower

Seismitoad @ Leftovers

EVs: 248 HP / 248 Def / 12 Spe

The team is pretty good considering you are new, so good job :]

First, you don't have hazard removal, and while nothing on your team is weak to it, it can be pretty annoying, especially spike stacking. So, I recommend using Defog > Thunderbolt on Latios. Thunderbolt doesn't do much outside of hitting Azumarill and SpD Skarmory, but Defog can be really nice to clear up hazards as it prolongs your team's life. As for Manaphy, you can just use Draco Meteor to do like 95% and then revenge with Lando-T.

Bulky Scizor is a really viable in the meta; however, you're using it wrong. You only use Superpower on offensive Scizor with max attack / max speed, defensive Scizor much prefers Bug Bite as it can get a technician boost making it a 90 base move with STAB. You can already guess it has a lot of power and can hit stuff like Slowbro and Rotom-W much harder than Knock off or Superpower, and can still hit stuff like Bisharp and Mega Metagross pretty hard. So, Bug Bite > Superpower on Scizor. Another thing, I think that spread is quite old and it can slightly be improve, a spread of 248 HP / 60 Def / 200 SpD with the same nature only has a little bit less attack, but significantly more bulk. For instance, 248 HP / 60+ Def allows you to live 2 High Jump Kicks from Mega Lopunny 100% of the time, something that 248 HP / 16+ Def Mega Scizor can't do. It also gives you more opportunity to set up on stuff like Defensive Lando-T or even Scarf variants.

Other than that, the team is pretty good. I don't know how you play it but a good advice is that you have to play around Heatran really well. Heatran can stop a bunch of mons on your team including Latios, Mega Scizor, and Clefable while Landorus-T and Tyranitar aren't the best switchins as they can get burned. So, you should always try and double on a predicted Heatran with Tyranitar and Pursuit on the switch to weaken really quickly.

Thanks for the advice :). I will certainly try out your suggestions. And as for heatran, it is pretty easy to switch into scizor and lure the heatran then doubling into Landorus-T/Tyranitar to do great damage.
