Basculegion @ Life Orb / Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Adaptability
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Agility
- Wave Crash
- Last Respects
- Tera Blast

High Attack, powerful STAB moves, and Adaptability make Basculegion a fearsome threat that can up its offensive potency with Agility, outspeeding nearly the entire unboosted metagame at +2. Wave Crash potentially OHKOes Arceus-Ground and Ting-Lu, though at the cost of significant recoil damage. Last Respects allows Basculegion to OHKO Miraidon and Koraidon with only two allies fainted, Gliscor at four allies fainted, and physically defensive Groudon and Arceus-Fairy variants at five allies fainted. Tera Fighting Tera Blast hits Arceus and Kingambit, 2HKOing the former and OHKOing the latter. A Jolly nature lets Basculegion outspeed the likes of Groudon and Kyogre, while Adamant improves the odds of OHKOing Arceus with Tera Blast while still outspeeding all Arceus formes at +2. Life Orb gives Basculegion extra power, while Heavy-Duty Boots are run to avoid chip damage so that it can get more uses out of Wave Crash, but it misses out on many of its KOs without the boost from Life Orb. Basculegion pairs especially well with Ribombee, as it appreciates Sticky Web support to help it outspeed opposing Pokemon. Defog support from teammates like Giratina-O and Corviknight helps to keep Basculegion healthy if not running Heavy-Duty Boots.

Preface the calcs with the fact that its Life Orb that get the roles, Koraidon lives a 2 allies-dead basculegion with boots, for example. Remove the Toxapex mention too, its not very good right now, you can replace it with Gliscor if you still have characters after the earlier life orb mention.

Looks good otherwise, QC 1/1.

Wave Crash potentially OHKOes gives Basculegion a chance to OHKO Arceus-Ground and Ting-Lu, though at the cost of significant recoil damage. Tera Fighting Tera Blast hits is used for the likes of this phrase was used later on so i shortened for repetition Arceus and Kingambit, 2HKOing the former and OHKOing the latter.
