Basic Standard OU team

Hello there I am new to Smogon Fourms and i found this RMT thing and I thought maybe other people can fix my terrible team if I can't, so i thought i would give it a try. This was going to be a sand storm team but i noticed that i couldn't think of anything but ttar and a lot of steels. so i abandoned that idea and came up with this

In depth:

Anti-Lead/Lead:
Spr_b_g4_395.png

Empoleon@Focus Sash
Ability:Torrent
Nature:Modest
EVs:156 HP/100 Atk/ 252 Sp.A
Moves:
-Stealth Rock
-Hydro Pump
-Grass Knot
-Aqua Jet

This is my lead and Anti Lead sort of....It get's rid of the other lead and still get's rocks up, at least thats what it is supposed to do. It normally either kills the opposing lead with Hydro Pump/Ice Beam then a Aqua Jet but then gets revenge killed before it gets rocks up..... or it gets rocks up then just gets a chance to aqua jet before it get picked off.....

CM Sweeper:
Spr_b_g4_380.png

Latias@Leftovers
Ability:Levitate
Nature:Timid
EVs:4 HP/ 252 Sp.A/ 252 Spe
Moves:
-Calm Mind
-Dragon Pulse
-Surf
-Recover

This is my Calm Mind sweeper. The basic fuction is to use calm mind then sweep.... and use recover when i get into trubble. This works fairly well on everything but scarfed pokemon which outspeed it and have a physical super effective move... i.e. Ttar. It often switches in to a calm mind and then i use surf but every time it still has a sliver of HP left because of the Sp.D boost that it gets from the sandstorm then proceeds to use crunch or pursuit...

Revenge Killer:
Spr_b_g4_385.png

Jirachi@Choice Scarf
Ability:Serene Grace
Nature:Jolly
EVs:4 HP/ 252 Att/ 252 Spe
Moves:
-Iron Head
-Fire Punch
-Ice Punch
-U-Turn

This is my revenge killer. It comes in after one of my pokemon has died and revenge kills. It will also get rid of Ttar and Scizor so it is safe for Latias to come out and set up then sweep.....

Physical Sweeper:
Spr_b_g4_286.png

Breloom@Toxic Orb
Ability:Poison Heal
Nature:Adamant
EVs:48 HP/ 252 Att/ 208 Spe
Moves:
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Seed bomb
-Spore

My Favorite pokemon ever since it destroyed my entire team in emerald (which was my first and favorite game to date) and only real way to get rid of Ttar. It will make anything slower than it a nice free set up so it can sweep like nobodys buisness. However anything faster and birdlike is going to be the absolute counter to my little mushroom friend......

Ground/Bulky Water:
Spr_b_g4_260.png

Swampert@Choice Band
Ability:Torrent
Nature:Adamant
EVs:252 HP/ 252 Att/ 4 Spe
Moves:
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Avalanche
-Stone Edge

This is a / check on flying/ check on electric/ staple in my team. It is a check to flying with avelanche and no real way for a bird to KO it before i KO them. It is a check on electric since it is ground and can absorb any thunder wave aimed at crobat and latias and can hit back with an earthquake... However I , like any other swampert owner would know, swampert hates grass pokemon!!!....

Annoyer/ Earthquake Absorber:

Spr_b_g4_169.png

Crobat@Black Sludge
Ability:Inner Focus
Nature:Jolly
EVs: 104 HP/ 152 Att/ 252 Spe
Moves:
-Super Fang
-U-Turn
-Taunt
-Roost

This is my annoyer and ground absorber. He is very useful when it comes to getting rid of walls. It can taunt so the opponent can only use weak moves then half their health and roost off the damage and u-turn to breloom or latias to set up and start sweeping...

I hope some of you readers will be able to offer some constructive criticism and will also not even think of removing or changing the breloom...... so ya...... thanks for taking some of your time to save my team..... so have fun fixing and rating...

sould dew is banned in OU, latias should hold leftovers.
I dont like that crobat set, if it works for you, fine but otherwise I think your team would benefit from something to more reliably take dow t-tar, breloom is easily 2hkoed by stone edge, even without a choice band i think. If you want something that can still annoy, you can hit two pidgey with one rock throw and put machamp on there and his 100% accurate dynamic punch.

Gottcha, Latias should have leftovers... and what would you suggest for a crobat instead of the one i have now? or should I have something completly different? it doesn't have to annoy

well, machamp could help with tyranitar, or, you could run a set of u-turn/taunt/roost/brave bird or super fang, it makes a great wallbreaker, since you can taunt them so they can only do weak attacks, then go to latias or togekiss to set up, roost off and damage, or halve their health with super fang.

Ok I changed the crobat to the set you suggested and it makes it alot more sence to have the moveset be that way thanks!!! but i still have the problem with ttar...

Hey this looks like a solid team, and I have a couple of small suggestions.
I would replace ice beam with Grass Knot on your lead Empoleon so that you can kill Swampert.

You currently have no revenge killers, so I would recommend replacing Togekiss with Scarf Jirachi. Jirachi can trick a choice scarf onto opponents, flinch enemies to death and deal with Tyranitar (not that you should be having problems with Swampert on your team)

Speaking of Swampert, you would probably want Avalanche over Ice Punch, as it doubles in power when you get hit before it (the negative priority won't matter because Swampert is slower than shit)
A choice band set might make more sense, as it gives a crapload more power and a huge element of surprise.

Lastly, Breloom isn't really built to tank, so I recommend the hit and run set
Spore/Mach Punch/Facade/Seed Bomb

The general idea is to get in, spam Facade, and Spore whatever you can't beat. Mach Punch offers some priority to make up for its rather lackluster speed.

I hope I helped!

First of all thanks for the compliment and for your suggestions! And yes you did help!

I thought them all over and agreed with them all except the one about breloom because it has so far worked great as it is and the moveset you suggested is one of the movesets i considered for it in the first place and decided to go with the one i have now.

I changed Ice Beam to Grass Knot. I changed Ice Punch to Avalanche and equiped the choice band. And Togekiss to Jirachi.

Is the set for Jirachi good as i made it? and what are some natures and EVs for Jirachi that i should consider?

If you use the choice band with Swampert, you don't want Protect, as the choice item locks you into one move. Instead, you could use Stone Edge for more damage against the likes of Gyarados.

As for Jirachi, you should run Jolly with max Atk and Spe to outspeed many threats.
Its moveset should be Iron Head / Fire Punch / Ice Punch and either Trick or U-Turn.
Wish support is not really needed, as the only one who would want it is Swampert, who should just hit and run.

A trick to get a successful Latias sweep is to not reveal her at first, and see if your opponent has a T-tar or Scizor. If they do, take them out with Jirachi first, then set up with Latias when it's safe.

Oh ya thanks for the heads up on protect.

And thanks for the help on jirachi and the tip on how to get a successful sweep with latias!!! It is much appreciated!!!

Is there anything i missed to change?

Nope! Looks good, though Leftovers is always better than black sludge, unless you are running item clause. Reason is that a trick user can give sludge back to one of your pokemon, hurting it.
