-Takes physical hits with 60 / 168 physical bulk
-Can set up ever-useful Stealth Rock
-Toxic for stalling purposes
-Protect to help with Toxic and scout
-Metal Burst to deal double the damage of any attack
-0 Atk IVs for minimal confusion damage and 0 Spe to make Metal Burst as slow as possible with Relaxed nature
-Sturdy allows you to survive any one single attack that would OHKO, which is actually pretty unlikely even with the 4x weaknesses
-Weak to just about every water type, fighting type, and ground type
-Slowking is great synergistic wall partner, along with Claydol and Ferroseed
