Bastiodon has long been one of my favorite Pokemon introduced in Generation 4. And is now back for Scarlet and Violet. I've come up with a pretty good build with it and have had great results in online play in SV.

Ability: Sturdy
Terra Type: Ghost/Fighting
IV: 31 HP, 31 Def, 31 SDef
EVs: 252 HP, 6 Def, 252 SDef

Foul Play/Toxic
Iron Defense
Metal Burst
Notes: Bastiodon is an incredibly sturdy Pokemon. Boasting a 168 Def base stat, combining Iron Defense with Body Press makes for impressive damage. Terrastialising into a ghost type has the benefit of voiding its 4x weakness to fighting and ground type moves. Terrastialising into a fighting type has the added benefit of boosting the power of Body Press as well. Foul Play can definitely be utilized against just about any Pokemon since Bastiodon has a pretty low Atk stat. Toxic is pretty self explanatory. Metal Burst is also self explanatory as a Counter/Mirror Coat that works both ways in terms of being a move that affects all types.
