[OVERVIEW]
Calm Mind turns Dudunsparce into a extremely threatening special sweeper that utilizes the raw power of Boomburst to clean up weakened teams while being difficult to KO due to Roost, good natural bulk, and a generally solid defensive typing. Dudunsparce can also punish the use of Knock Off with Rattled, meaning that removing its item can sometimes help it sweep. This means that Dudunsparce is exceptional at taking advantage of passive Pokemon such as Swampert, Tsareena, and Gligar, as they cannot use Knock Off to remove its item without giving it a Speed boost. Dudunsparce does struggle with Fighting-types such as Flamigo and Toxicroak, which can easily threaten it out if Terastallizing is not an option for it. Steel-types such as Copperajah and Bronzong can easily take its STAB Boomburst and threaten it out with Whirlwind or Body Press, respectfully. Additionally, Dudunsparce has a poor Speed stat, which means even slow wallbreakers such as Rhyperior and Sylveon can land huge attacks on Dudunsparce, potentially cutting a sweep short.

Calm Mind Dudunsparce can utilize the immense power of Boomburst to become an incredibly difficult setup sweeper to remove. Shadow Ball can hit Pokemon such as Chandelure, Basculegion-M, and Bronzong that are either immune to or resist Boomburst. Roost allows Dudunsparce to keep sustaining itself over the course of a game and accruing boosts whenever it can. Leftovers can help keep Dudunsparce healthy so that it doesn't expend Roost PP too early, while Heavy-Duty Boots can allow Dudunsparce to get on the field easier while hazards are down. Rattled can allow Dudunsparce to punish the various U-turn and Knock Off users in the tier to gain a Speed boost. 100 Speed EVs enable Dudunsparce to outspeed Incineroar and Vaporeon and hit them with Boomburst before they use Parting Shot and Haze, respectively. They also let Dudunsparce outspeed neutral-nature Basculegion-M after a Rattled boost. Tera Poison gives Dudunsparce a Fighting resistance, and it also comes with the benefit of not letting Dudunsparce get poisoned by Pokemon such as Munkidori and Amoonguss. Tera Ghost gives Dudunsparce an immunity to Fighting-type attacks from Pokemon such as Paldean Tauros-W while also boosting the power of Shadow Ball. Additionally, it's a better Tera type against Bronzong because, unlike Tera Poison, it makes Dudunsparce not weak to Psychic Noise and immune to Body Press.
Calm Mind Dudunsparce fits primarily on bulky offense and balance teams, which love its ability to set up easily on many common defensive Pokemon like Vaporeon, Gligar, and Tsareena. Therefore, Pokemon such as Paldean Tauros-W, Flygon, and Swampert enjoy Dudunsparce's presence and can bring these foes in so that Dudunsparce can use them as setup fodder. Fighting-type answers such as Galarian Slowbro and Amoonguss are heavily appreciated by Dudunsparce, while in return, Dudunsparce can help against Pokemon they may struggle with such as Basculegion-M and Kilowattrel. Entry hazard removers such as Tsareena and Altaria are much appreciated by Dudunsparce, as they allow it to reliably run Leftovers to further aid its sweeping potential. Pokemon that are walled by Bronzong such as Munkidori and Flygon heavily appreciate Dudunsparce, as it can reliably chip or set up on Bronzong, allowing them a much easier time for wallbreaking. In return, they can help against Pokemon such as Flamigo and Diancie, respectfully, that might otherwise trouble Dudunsparce. Due to its Ghost immunity, Dudunsparce is often tasked with switching into Shadow Ball from Chandelure. However, it struggles with switching into Fire Blast, so Dudunsparce appreciates partners such as Basculegion-M, Diancie, and Altaria that can take Chandelure's Fire-type attacks.

Other Options
====
Dudunsparce has a wide array of coverage options, including Ice Beam and Earth Power, to hit Pokemon such as Altaria and Toxtricity that might otherwise give it trouble. Dudunsparce can utlize a defensive Stealth Rock set, which can act as a check to Pokemon such as Chandelure while crippling entry hazard removal options such as Tsareena with either Toxic or Glare. Coil sets can be used in order to turn Dudunsparce into a dangerous physical sweeper, allowing it to take on Pokemon such as Copperajah more easily. Covert Cloak can be used on sweeping sets to ignore secondary effects such as Vaporeon's Scald and Munkidori's Toxic Chain.
Checks and Counters
====
**Rock-types**: Rock-types such as Rhyperior and Diancie are a massive pain for Dudunsparce, as they can easily stomach both Boomburst and Shadow Ball while threatening massive damage with moves like Earthquake and Body Press. If Dudunsparce switches out, they can use the opportunity to set up entry hazards such as Stealth Rock and Spikes, further impeding Dudunsparce's sweeping potential if it is not using Heavy-Duty Boots.
**Fighting-types**: Fighting-types such as Flamigo, Toxicroak, and Paldean Tauros-W can threaten immense damage on Dudunsparce, typically forcing it out. However, most of these struggle against Dudunsparce if it decides to use Tera Poison, allowing Dudunsparce to potentially set up on them.
**Steel-types**: Steel-types such as Bronzong, Copperajah, and Klefki can typically wall Dudunsparce, and they can set Stealth Rock or Spikes to make progress or force good damage on it with Body Press or Iron Head. However, Dudunsparce can typically outlast them and threaten good damage with Shadow Ball.
**Status Conditions**: Pokemon that can afflict poison such as Amoonguss, Munkidori, and Bellibolt are major annoyances for Dudunsparce, as poison further impedes its sweeping capabilities, forcing it to either Terastallize into a Poison-type or constantly use Roost. While a burn is less impactful, it can still force Dudunsparce to waste Roost PP.
**Phazing Moves**: Phazing moves such as Roar from Vaporeon and Whirlwind from Copperajah can impede Dudunsparce's sweep, negating any boosts it has acquired. However, this is not a foolproof solution, as the negative priority forces the phazer to take a powerful attack from Dudunsparce, and phazing is ineffective if Dudunsparce is the last Pokemon on the team.
