Hello everyone ^^ I am just joined Smogon and I am also very new to Pokemon X and Y competitive battling, it is my first time playing Pokemon seriously and understanding what Pokemon actually is. I made a team but I am not sure if it is good, I am really a beginner hence I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out.

Is a Baton Pass team but I am not sure if it still works for this Gen I heard it used to be good kinda like the idea too~ Maybe I wanna build a new team but not sure how...
Ninjask (Speed Booster, Swords Dance Boost)
Smeargle (Shell Smash, Phaze block)
Vaporeon (Defense tank+Boost)
Umbreon (Special Tank)
Espeon (Special Sweeper+ Calm Mind boosts)
Scizor (Physical Sweeper)

Please help me out I don't mind any comments as long as it will help me to be a better Pokemon Trainer :D

Mega absol is a much better mega for baton pass teams thanks to its magic bounce ability, which lets it sweep without having to fear whirlwind and roar. Baton pass teams are very difficult to play well, which is why you don't see many in the high tiers or play. I've seen good baton pass players do serious work though. If you're playing in-game and not on showdown you could also use mega blazekin, he's a monster

So there are still people using Baton Pass Team? I don't see anyone around though I think quick pass should be more useful. What's the point of using Blaziken when we are not supposed to use it in tournament/competitions? Might as well just prepare something for long term and be more fair~ Thanks for the tips though ^^
