The Blood Moon Rises Once Again (Ursaluna-Bloodmoon) Level 3 — EXP: 0 / 10
Profile:
Kaguya is quietly observant, solemnly floating around in the background most of the time. Their silence is a contemplative one, almost longing, as if they miss their homeworld, the Ultra Crater. It would be false to assume that Kaguya is simply incapable of speech, however. They are able to speak when required to, through an immense thrumming of their body. (Celesteela do not have mouths to speak with, I think.)
How They Met:
During an adventure in Alola, Doduodrio and his team were sucked through an Ultra Wormhole to the Ultra Crater, the planet where Celesteela come from. All around, Celesteela constantly launched themselves into space, creating huge earthquakes and dangerous conditions. Fortunately, the Ultra Recon Squad was not far behind, capturing the Celesteela that was right beneath Doduodrio's feet, about to take off! When everybody had safely made it back home, Doduodrio was able to befriend this Celesteela and they joined his team!
Name Origins:
Named after Kaguya-hime from "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter," an old Japanese tale. In this story, Kaguya is a princess who came from the Moon, sent to Earth through a bamboo shoot. This was punishment for some crime she had committed, the punishment being that she would form attachments to people that she would inevitably have to leave.
Combos:
1. Heavy Slam + Brutal Swing (Blunt Trauma)
2. Earthquake + Leech Seed (Scatter Seed)
3. Gyro Ball + Smack Down (Meteor Impact)

Profile:
As with all other Gothitelles, Cleo must bear the burden of precognition, having already seen the end of the universe and all time. This naturally makes her rather detached and distant, as if she's as far away as the stars she sees. When Cleo battles, she uses her tremendous Psychic power to warp spacetime, locking opponents in place. However, she doesn't put all of her energy into battles because she already knows their outcome.
How They Met:
One day, Cleo appeared at Doduodrio's house, saying that it was what she was destined to do. When a Gothitelle says something like that, you don't dare to disobey because the consequences may be disastrous.
Name Origin:
From Clio, the muse of history. Originally going to be Claire from clairvoyant.
Profile:
Like Bub, Yogurt prefers to stay silent. Although, unlike Bub, Yogurt doesn't speak because she has sworn a vow of silence to aid in her lifestyle of meditation and fasting. Somehow, she still battles just as well as her teammates who don't fast which is quite impressive.
How They Met:
On a visit to Hoenn, Doduodrio stopped by the Safari Zone and caught Yogurt there!
Name Origins:
Ignore the fact that I'm craving yogurt right now... (Vanilla yogurt if you were wondering what flavor)

Sheldon
Species: Slowbro, Gender: Male Level: 4, EXP: --- Nature: Calm (+2 SpD, -1 Atk) Typing: Water / Psychic Abilities: Oblivious / Own Tempo / (Unlocked) Regenerator Advanced Techniques: None
Profile as a Slowpoke:
Slow and dopey, Sheldon chugs along at his own pace. He has a sturdy body, so if he was attacked, he probably wouldn't even notice. He is often caught staring blankly into space.
Changes Upon Evolving:
One day, Sheldon was sitting at the beach, staring off into space with his usual blank expression when a Shellder flipped out of the water and chomped down hard on his tail, triggering his sudden evolution! Sheldon can now sit up straight, but he still finds it difficult to focus on what's in front of him. His intelligence seems to have increased a little bit, though. Just a bit. Sheldon's body is sturdier than it was as a Slowpoke and can now launch stronger Psychic and Water attacks.
How They Met:
Sheldon's original trainer was one of Doduodrio's friends who traded him in the hopes of evolving him. Unfortunately, before the trade happened, Sheldon managed to lose his King's Rock, and couldn't evolve into Slowking. Because he was a traded Pokemon, Sheldon is one of Doduodrio's strongest team members. His original trainer insists that he doesn't want to trade back for Sheldon, so Doduodrio has been raising him ever since.
Name Origins:
Sheldon has "Shel" in it which references Slowbro's category, the "Hermit Crab" Pokemon.

Profile:
O is an enigma, originating from an uncharted region of Ultra Space, brought to this dimension by Shmorby the Rotom. It communicates by generating powerful electric currents to make popping and crackling noises. Bub seems to have taken a liking to it, spending hours next to it. Perhaps they're communicating with electromagnetic waves...
How They Met:
One day, Shmorby the Rotom figured out how to enter Ultra Space and travel to different dimensions. This would be pretty harmless if not for the fact that Shmorby brought home another electricity-loving friend who siphoned off all of the electricity in Doduodrio's house, causing a blackout. Not very fun. When Doduodrio said that he wouldn't be keeping O, Shmorby became upset, and when Shmorby is upset... bad things happen. Reluctantly, Doduodrio agreed to keep O under the condition that Shmorby finds a source of energy for it. A few days later, a few dozen suspiciously paid for solar panels arrived to power O. Best not to question where they came from.

She's been cold and disinterested in the world around her for very long. Simply being stuck on a wall, catalyzing and spreading toxins to mark her territory... It's hard to break out of that mindset. But now that she's with us, she's slowly been opening up to other people, as well as the world at large and what it contains. She's far from being enthusiastic, but progress is progress.
In battle, she likes to make use of her deadly toxins to take out her target as painfully as she can. She has such a streak in her...

Colin is the example of a book smart Pokémon, which is all the stranger because he's a Gyarados. Having lived as a Magikarp in a rigid social structure, Colin learned from a young age to show respect and deference, a trait that carries over to his current way of speech, which is all the stranger because, again, he's a Gyarados. On the other hand, he's also quite naive since he was sheltered for a long while, which made him both eager to see the world at large and very meek in unknown environments.
With a Mega Stone, his appearance changes to that of a vicious beast... but he's still the same ol' Colin at his core. It's frankly kind of jarring.

Selphine is one of those "if she nibbles on you she probably likes you" kinda people, which you can avoid by bribing her with sweets. She takes training more seriously than before, though, and she actually commits to getting stronger and going through battle drills.
Her Mega Stone seems to awaken an ancient conscience within her, dating back to the Great Kalos War. She becomes ruthless and overwhelms any would would dare stand in her way, her physical prowess demultiplicated by tapping into that conscience. Sometimes I wish she stayed the sweet Selphine, though...

Emi is part of the "hit fast retreat fast" school of thought. She knows she's not good in sustained brawls, so her preferred method of fighting is to get in, dash at impressive speeds, hit the enemy before they know what's up, and then go back to the safety of the other side of the field, possibly even of the Ball.
She doesn't look the part, but she's a big eater, apparently because running faster drains one's energy reserves faster. I think she's just a bit of a glutton...

Manon has fallen from her place as leader, but she still is a force to be reckoned with. The transition to the new world left her slightly more powerful, and she puts that Technician to good use. She still likes to order everyone around though, especially the old guard, who are accustomed to her attitude. The newer members still have to learn how to deal with it, but it's not really that concerning.
