This thread is for the announcements & Admin decisions throughout BSSPL X.​


Format:
The format for BSSPL X is the following:
  • SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation I (1)
  • SV Battle Stadium Singles Regulation I (2)
  • SS Battle Stadium Singles Series 12
  • USUM Battle Spot Singles
  • ORAS Battle Spot Singles
  • GBU Singles (Gen 5 Battle Spot)

Manager self-purchases
Only one manager per team may purchase their playing rights. The manager self-purchase prices for BSSPL X are 10k + (Wx1.5)k, with W being the number of wins from BSSPL IX.

Budget
Teams will have a budget of 100k auction credits and have to draft at least 8 players. (6 starters and 2 substitutes)

There are no retains.

Auction Date
The auction will take place on <t:1752948000:F> . Player signups will close 24 hours before the auction.

Playoffs

Top 4 teams advance to playoffs, 1st seed vs 4th seed & 2nd seed vs 3rd seed

Manager Self Buys:
Saffron Side Pups have decided not to self buy. Their starting budget in draft auction will be 100k
Celadon Dons have chosen to self buy Mishimono , their starting budget in draft auction will be 100k-10k = 90k.
Armaans Ash-Greninjas have chosen to self buy Irene, their starting budget in draft auction will be 100k-10k = 90k.
Boostbreaker Espahtra have chosen to self buy luisin, their starting budget in draft auction will be 100k-11.5k = 88.5k
Toronto Staraptors have chosen to self buy Micciu, their starting budget in draft auction will be 100k-16.5k =83.5k
Magic Meowscaradas have chosen to self buy DerpySuX , their starting budget in draft auction will be 100k-16.5k =83.5k


Edit: Mis calculated on Micciu's price, should be 16.5k instead of 16k!

I miscalculated Micciu’s selfbuy American education baby it should be the same as my own selfbuy at 16.5k

yone and Micciu were notified of this mistake and have elected to keep the selfbuy at the new price of 16.5k, their new starting budget will be 83.5k.

RE: Irene vs Staraptor
The PS! servers crashed between games 1&2 during Irene vs Staraptor, managers were offered to allow game 1 to stand if they agreed to it.

Managers could not come to an agreement so the TD’s default policy was enforced
Irene and Staraptor will restart the set on game 1.
 
RE: Deadgaming
Butch Hardnight and Evie deadgamed their week 1 set as the week had already been decided. This is not permitted by TD policy as if a game has playoff implications it MUST be played barring unique external circumstances. Since this is a first time offense for both players, nothing will be done, however future attempts to deadgame without both teams being guaranteed to make or miss playoffs will be met with appropriate action.
