Hey, i'm new to Smogon and this is my first time doing a serious team for the battle tower. I'm thinking in this team, maybe I could change togekiss with Spiritomb, but I think it's really good like this:
Togekiss
Item: Lum berry
Nature & Evs: Timid - 252 speed, 252 hp, 6 sp. attack
Trait: Serene Grace
-Thunderwave
-Aura sphere
-Air slash
-Roost
Togekiss seems like a good lead with the paraflinch combo. Aura sphere is for hitting hard on steel/rock types and roost is for surviving a little longer. Lum berry will stop togekiss from suffering paralyzis and other status ailments that would ruin this moveset.
Lucario
Item: Focus sash
Nature & Evs: Jolly - 252 att. 252 speed. 6 hp
Trait: inner focus
-Sword dance
-Close combat
-Earthquake / Ice punch
-Substitute
Here's my sweeper. Lucario can switch in for ice and rock attacks that would hit togekiss. With one sword dance he can easily sweep an entire team. Close Combat is a powerful move with excellent accuracy. I can't decide between earthquake and ice punch. Earthquake is a reliable and powerful move, but if I take it, flying types could become a problem (specifically, Dragonite, Salamence and Gyarados). Ice punch gets rid of that problem and hits dragon types for super effective damage, but it's not as powerful as Earthquake and i wouldn't have an effective way for quickly destroying a metagross. Substitute can take status ailments and could give me a turn for preparing Sword Dance.
3a. Magnezone
Item: brightpowder
Natures & Evs: adamant - 128 sp defence, 252 speed, 128 attack.
Trait: sturdy
-discharge/ spark / thunderbolt
-magnet bomb
-explosion
-psych up / toxic
Magnezone can switch in for electric attacks that go to togekiss, he can stop the hax in OHKO moves with sturdy, he can destroy that gyarados that leaves my Lucario defenseless, has a good supportive moveset and the magical explosion. Discharge is a weak sp. attack but has a 30% of paralyzing. Spark is the physical counterpart of Discharge. (I don't know which one is better) And Thunderbolt should go with toxic, thunderbolt makes a lot of damage and toxic not only takes care of bulky pokemon, but it also lowers their defence, perfect for my explosion.
Magnet bomb attacks those pokemon using evasion and psych up takes advantage of pokemon like Milotic's marvel scale boost.
3b. Wobbuffet
Item: Focus sash
Nature & Evs: bold - 252 Defence, 252 Sp. Defence, 6 Hp
Trait: Shadow Tag
-Counter
-Mirror coat
-Encore
-Safeguard
i think Wobbufet doesn't needs an explanation. It just switches in, gets attackes and then returns double the damage. Encore is for stucking pokemon in stat boosting moves and safeguard is a good supportive move.
3c. Gengar
Item: Focus sash
Natures & Evs: Timid - 252 sp. attack, 252 speed, 6 defence
Trait: Levitate
-Thunderbolt / Focus Blast
-Shadow Ball
-Counter
-Destiny bond
Gengar is an excellent special sweeper and revenge killer, he can KO one pokemon and the use destiny bond to take out a second one. With Gengar's low defence, counter becomes a reliable option for KO a physical sweeper. Thunderbolt could take on bulky water types and has very few resistances. Focus Blast is for taking out steel types like Magnezone and has good typing with Shadow Ball.
