SV OU Baxcalibur BO

Dave (Baxcalibur) @ Choice Band
Ability: Thermal Exchange
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Glaive Rush
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard

I chose to make a team around Choice Band Baxcalibur because of the sheer damage output of Band + Glaive Rush, being capable of 2hkoeing even Dondozo after Tera Dragon. The set is very standard. Glaive Rush and Icicle Crash is for STAB. Earthquake is for coverage, hitting the steel types that resist Glaive Rush, and Ice Shard is for Priority to patch up Baxcalibur's middling speed.

Great Tusk @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Close Combat
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin

Great Tusk was added to the team for its hazard control and to check physical attackers, specifically Kingambit. Earthquake is for a reliable STAB attack and Close Combat is to destroy the Dark types that want to switch into Slowking's Future Sight. Rapid Spin is for hazard removal and Knock Off is to support the team by knocking off opposing pokemon's items.

Kingambit @ Leftovers
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance

Kingambit was put on this team as a Ghouldengo check and as a generally strong physical attacker. Kowtow Cleave and Iron Head is for STAB and Sucker Punch is for Priority. Swords Dance is for setup and Tera Fire is to block Wisp and beat Volcarona.

Iron Valiant @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Aura Sphere
- Thunderbolt
- Trick

Scarf Iron Valiant was added as speed-control. Moonblast and Aura Sphere for STAB and Thunderbolt to hit water types and Corviknight. Trick is to cripple opposing walls that might switch into Iron Valiant.

Toxapex @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf
- Toxic
- Haze
- Recover

Toxapex was put onto this team as a blanket check to sweepers. Surf and Toxic is so that it isn't too passive and Recover is for recovery. Haze is to shut down the opposing Pokemon's stat changes and Tera Fairy is to get rid of its weaknesses. The Covert Cloak is to beat Garganacl, which my team is very weak to.

Slowking @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Surf
- Future Sight
- Thunder Wave
- Chilly Reception

Slowking was added because it is the only viable Pokemon in SV as of now that learns Chilly Reception. Its main purpose is to support Baxcalibur by pivoting it in with Chilly Reception which also has the bonus of boosting Baxcalibur's defence by 50%. Thunder Wave is for support capabilities, mostly to slow down mons so that Baxcalibur can outspeed them. Surf is for STAB.

Quick rate! (Although I say this and the rate will probably be several hundred lines, watch...)

Very solid team but I do see some changes that might make it flow better.

:toxapex: --> :gholdengo:
Pex doesn't seem to do much here. You already have slowking as a really good SPD wall, and if you need a good way to counter Garg then Gholdengo fits the bill better. Plus it adds another good SPA hitter and an option to throw more status conditions around.

The Ting go SCRRA (Gholdengo) @ Covert Cloak
Ability: Good as Gold
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave/ recover
- Nasty Plot/ recover
- Shadow Ball
- Make It Rain

Longevity, hard-hitting moves, the option for more paralysis, and tera flying to get you off the ground if needed. If you want more of a defensive option then I would look into covert cloak Amoongus but let me know and I can get into that more for ya.

Everything else is just little tweaks that caught my attention.

:great tusk:
Close combat --> Stealth Rocks

Rocks are never a bad option to be able to throw down and the way you have your Tusk set up now, I wouldn't replace any other move. Plus, with the Defensive set you have I wouldn't want to lower your defense any.

:kingambit:
Tera fire --> tera flying

I just think it's more useful overall. Tera fire is very situational and if you're worried about getting burned then switch to Gholdengo or Slowking.

:iron valiant:
Aura Sphere --> Psyshock

Everything you would want to hit with aura sphere you could hit just as well with one of your other moves. Also, anything you would want ot hit with Aura Sphere wouldn't want to stay into any of your moves anyway. Psyshock is just more useful IMO

See, what did I say, short and sweet! At least as far as my usual rate length is concerned...
Anyway, good luck. Again, your team is really solid as is, but I hope that what I had to say helps some...
