BDSP LC Kickoff Tournament
Welcome to the start of BDSP Little Cup, we will be kicking off the new year with a tournament to explore this new metagame! The LC TLs have recommended starting with a reasonably small banlist so it is possible more things will be banned over the course of the tour, if this happens, this will take effect the following week.
Note: We will have resources linked in the round 1 post, we're working on them now!
Tournament Rules:
- General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
- Format: BDSP LC (a challenge only format)
- The starting banlist is: Vulpix, Misdreavus, Gligar, Scyther, Sneasel, Murkrow, Tangela, Meditite, Yanma, Baton Pass.
- Best of three, single elimination
- Battles should take place on Pokemon Showdown!
- Standard battle clauses
- Replays are required!
- Contact your opponent as soon as possible.
- When scheduling, offer the widest range of time possible to play. Just mentioning one or two specific times is likely insufficient.
- Schedule specifically - do not schedule for "Friday afternoon" or "Sunday morning", pick a date, a time and note the timezone.

Signups will close Sunday 9th of January at 11:59PM GMT -5 (or at 96 signups if we reach that close to the deadline).
Update: Note that the banlist has changed since initial post, council is currently reviewing a few other things so there may be a few more changes (potentially something with sun and webs). I will highlight any changes from initial post in the round 1 and they should be implemented in the validator.
