So I think I need a new team. I've been slacking off, so I need you guys to get me back in shape! I can't check out my teams weaknesses and resistances since the marriland team builder is not working for meh. Sorry, no pictures! My computer does'nt allow me to anymore....
Breloom @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 44 Hp / 252 Atk/ 212 Spe
Nature: Adamant
Moveset:
- Protect
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Seed Bomb
This is an anti-starter threat set. Protect is here to scout for moves, and to correspond accordingly. It also bides some time to heal. Spore is what makes this guy a great lead. Mach Punch has saved me many times a plenty. Having that one quick move can save you the battle! Seed bomb is a pretty nice counter to bulky waters (ex. Milotic, Vaporeon, Gyarados).
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Def / 100 SpA / 60 SpD
Nature: Modest
Moveset:
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Lava Plume
- Earthpower
Heatran is one tough cookie! I’ve always felt this guy was to slow for anything, but it has been fine. A simple Rest + Sleep talk tank. Lava plume rocks! Burning is so fun! It ruins a lot of sweepers that come in to earthquake this guy. Garchomp, salamence, Tyrannitar, ect. All get burned! Then I here lots of complaints later…
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 240 Hp / 56 Atk / 76 Def / 136 Spe
Nature: Impish
Moveset:
- Wish
- Thunder
- Icy Wind
- Zen Headbutt
I love this guy’s ability! This set uses his ability to the max. This guy is a big support to my team. Wish is for support, while thunder can also support. It’s a strong attack, but it has a good chance of paralyzing my opponent XD. Icy wind is the same. It can lower a persons speed down, and Zen Headbutt has a good chance of finching, it’s also a strong move against the likes of heracross and infernape that try to switch in.
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 216 Hp / 16 Atk / 176 Def / 100 Spe
Nature: Adamant
Moveset:
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall
Me and Gyara have gone a long way…. He seems to win me the upper hand of the battle. His bulky ness is what I love about him. He can tank, while stating up for a finale. It’s a simple, but dangerous set for my foes. Ice fang is here to get rid of dragons, it also takes a huge chunk off of celebi. Waterfall is for simple stab
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Mild
Moveset:
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunderbolt
- Explosion
He’s one fast dude! Shadow ball is his stab move. Focus blast is another obvious move here, for the likes of Ttar. Thunderbolt to take care of those pesky gyara’s. And explosion for another kill! I love that move….
Gallade @ Leftovers
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 236 HP / 220 Atk / 52 SpD
Nature: Adamant
Moveset:
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Thunder Wave
Gallade is like a lucario, just without the extremespeed or bullet punch. Thunderwave is to ensure the full sweeping abilities of this poke. It thunder-waves, making my opponent slower, then swords dancing up. Close combat is for simple STAb. And Stone edge takes gyaras and flying types quite nicely.
