Been Spending Sometime in UU.. help fix it.

Venusaur (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Leaf Storm
- Sleep Powder
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sludge Bomb

Roserade of UU. Works well and is bulky.

---
Clefable (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP/140 Def/118 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Thunderbolt
- Softboiled

EVs might be off.. sorta wondering if I should go LO or not but I love not being able to be put to sleep with this guy

---
Toxicroak (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Vacuum Wave
- Sludge Bomb
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball

fairly popular choice in UU. I love this pokemon, although its loses against good players are only good late game when their bulky flier is dead

---
Lapras (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 12 HP/244 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Waterfall
- Substitute
- Dragon Dance
- Return

You would be surprised how many people dont expect this still. Usually sweeps a lot and can come in easily on the hated (at least by me) Glaceon
---
Rotom @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Will-o-wisp
- Thunder
- Shadow Ball
- Trick

Probably gonna want HP Fighting on here but I figured this was an okay set to start off with
---
Aggron (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Rock Head
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Double-edge
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Iron Tail

great Bird counter.. and all around can catch some things off guard. Iron Tail isnt going anywhere.. it hits more than it misses and gives me something to KO Cradily with.. which oddly enough a bunch of people seem to use. Also great if you dont want to over predict

Major Threats

Swords Dance Toxicroak with Sucker Punch
Mantine (pain)
Altaria (pain)
Weezing (pain)
Steelix

other than that I have a decent time against everything else. Although consent hits from Fighters can surely weaken me to a point.. that has been basically it.

I remember somebody using a similar Scarfsaur, and they added HP Psychic > HP Fire, to hit poison pokemon like Weezing. It's actually better coverage, since HP Fire is really for Bug and Steels. UU Steels have a Rock or Ground Typing so Leaf Storm would do more. and Bugs that resist both STAB are usually PSN, which is SE to HP Psychic (except for wormadan-Steel).

Since Steelix is common in UU, Miltank would just be set-up bait. Clefable would be a much better normal Pokemon for status absorption. And a team like yours with lots of offensive punch would enjoy the support Clefable can offer, whether it be more versatile offense or defensive support.

Yea, Sucker Punch Toxicroak is really hard to take down. The way I go around it is get a Rotom and Will-O-Wisp on the Sucker Punch. Nidoqueen is a good option, too, seeing how most Toxicroaks lack EQ, but it's risky. Weezing is the best counter for it.

not a bad idea, I think I might do that.

I know you have more to add than that Pocket :O

I Need to address my problems with Weezing, Altaria, and Mantine still.

I edited my responses as I added a bit more stuff, so you may have missed like the last paragraph =0

Weezing and Mantine can't do anything to Clefable. I'm guessing Mantine bothers you by Hazing Lapras or breaking its sub with HP Ele? I could see Mantine being annoying to this team, since you have 3 special Pokemon.

Scyther could be pretty dangerous to this team. Unlike Steelix, Brick Break would most likely kill your Aggron after a SD. You don't have SR up, so it could switch in and out as it pleases. Scyther most likely survives Venusaur's Sludge Bomb, too.

This is why Rotom is so overused. Ghost / Electric + Levitate gives it so many fucking resists =0, including all of Scyther's moves. It actually resists all the moves that Dodrio / Swellow / Fearow throws at it, too (except for Pursuit, which does paltry damage to a defensive Rotom). You might want to try it out over Claydol. The one bad thing about losing Claydol is that Rotom could attract lots of Fire Pokemon because of it's Wisp, and Claydol's high Sp Def wouldn't be there to absorb it and retaliate with Earth Power.

You might want to add Politoed, Blastoise, or Thick Fat Walrein > Lapras and change Toxicroak into a Physical Sweeper if you want to compensate for losing your DDer. Or since Rotom walls pretty much what Aggron walls (except for Rock, but you have Claydol), you could put Rotom over him (but then you might lose to Psychics). I'd lose Claydol.

Overall, I like the originality, Warthog =]; I especially like, well, everything except for Miltank haha.

thanks for the help Pocket. I'll update this thread as soon as I figure out good spreads for Fable and test out Rotom.

updated.

For Rotom, I was thinking more of a bulkier 252 HP / 252 Def spread; resists alone won't help Rotom take hits. You can still go with Trick Scarf with the defensive spread, and it'll still have 338 Speed, which is still good for revenge killing. If you're looking for Hidden Power, I prefer HP Water, because it hits Camerupt that is immune to Wisp and Tbolt as well as Steelix. HP Fighting is still good for hitting Clefable when you don't want to risk missing with Thunder to finish the job, however. I have Protect on my Rotom for some extra healing, but it prevents you from pressuring the opponent on that turn.

You could lose Double-Edge on Aggron for Sleep Talk. Choiced Sleep Talk prevents Aggron to hit consecutively, but it lets you to have Life Orb on Clefable, and it's not that bad a choice either (choice talker that is). Just like in 386 Play, Clefable can still BDrum, Warthog =p (not that CMFable isn't effective). Your team already packs quite a lot of special punch, and CMFable may just be another pokemon for a special wall to wall. Some kind of a mixed sweeper on Clefable (pretty sure that's possible) may be better.

I actually prefer SR on Aggron (again over Double-Edge) or Clefable (might need to change the set a bit, though), because not having SR or Rapid Spin already puts your team at a disadvantage. With Rotom, they won't easily be able to spin it away, too (although Rotom doesn't enjoy taking special hits from Claydol, so make sure to avoid switching into Psychic / Shadow Balls). If you don't want to, you might want to consider making Clefable a WishPasser so that the advantage the opponent has wouldn't be as bad.

However, my suggestion may not be your style of play. Perhaps max Spd Rotom can serve a good purpose of revenge-killing Swellow and Scyther, and your offensive drive may be hindered by Clefable Wish Passing; your team may not even need it if your pokemon can force the opponent on their defensive. SR would not only help to even the grounds but would add additional pressure on the opponent, making your offensive team more effective imo.

As recommended previously, go with Hidden Power Psychic or Hidden Power Ground, on your Venusaur, to weed out potentially dangerous switch ins such as Weezing and Ninetails. I'm not really a fan of Trick Rotom especially when you are using a move that doesn't have 100% accuracy. I'd recommend a more versatile Rotom by switching to Thunderbolt and Protect accompanied by Leftovers which would help in taking down Mantine and Altaria.

You probably want to give Lapras a reliable form of recovery by switching its ability from Shell Armour to Water Absorb. Likewise you might also want to consider giving it a priority move such as Ice Shard to beat Toxicroak with Sucker Punch. Lastly, you might want to consider Sandslash as a Rapid Spinner to go head-to-head with Steelix, otherwise, you might want to consider Nidoqueen or a more unorthodox approach such as Focus Sash Electrode or Raichu who can hit from the special side of the spectrum.
