Sending out Tommie the Pajantom holding Muscle Band

Hyjack is knee deep in thick water, wading through this swamp, approaching the set venue of his challenger. The peculiarity of wanting to battle in a dusk-laden swamp at least pique'd his interest, but regardless he'd sniff out anyone seeking a challenge. His blood has been boiling for the experience of battle since starting his journey.

Finally, he reaches a clearing, where the water recedes from an elevated platform, and he rises to the occasion, out of the thick of the marshy water. He approaches, they greet each other and confirm the rules of the bout, and he's met with a beast complementary to their surroundings.

"If we were operating on luck alone I'd have already reached my peak! No, this battle... will test our METTLE!"

In tandem with the final phrase, a ball of wet dirt files from behind Hyjack and over him, then outstretches its limbs and sticks the landing, the intensity expelling the marsh stuck to its body from it's subversive entrance.

Enter: Baron the Aron!! The mighty metal munchkin stares down its ghastly foe, with an intensity in its eyes, and an Oran Berry in its mouth.

It wastes little time rushing Tommie the Pajantom, charging forth almost as soon as it lands. When in close proximity, Aron fires a Toxic substance at the opponent, anticipating a prolonged battle. Should the opposing seek to protect itself, Baron position itself to take a defensive position in response.

It seems ready to make its first offensive move, and it darts around the arena, finding a dimly lit Shadow to lurch out from, swiping its Claw across Tommie's flesh. Though Baron exercises patience first. Should the Pajantom seek not to attack, it plans to continue to defensively roll about the battle field, and re-fortify its exterior defenses, finding an opportune moment to strike.

These defensive rolls build momentum, and Aron tumbles about the field, seeking a blind spot in this dimly lit arena. Once it has found that Shadow in the brush, it bursts forth explosively and Claws at Tommie to inflict some serious damage!

Desert Rose equipped with Muscle Band

This prehistoric beast was apparently watching the battle from above, circling like a vulture, observing the techniques displayed. It descends slowly, exerting a menacing pressure, though may not be felt by the napping Pajantom. It means business.

Desert Rose expands her wings, asserting a dominating presence and increasing its size. It closes its eyes, and lets out a low-volume yet intense growl... the prehistoric beast channels its inner energy, and time passes, and the growl grows... and grows... and GROWS in volume until Desert Rose lets out a piercing screech throughout the marshy surroundings.

Upon releasing its battle-screech, it lunges forward - not with its feet, but with its tail! The Aerodactyl channeled its Draconic energy into its still outstretched wings, which now have and have fierce purple energy exuding from them, extending in a jagged Claws shape. Slashing forward at the drowsy foe, Desert Rose is relentless in its assault and continues to swipe, bringing up dust from the shaken ground beneath them, single mindedly intending to inflict harm on Tommie.

The foe is stubborn, if not patient. Desert Rose's draconic empowered onslaught was met with well-timed protection, and the sleeping Tommie mitigated most of the damage that was meant to be dealt

"Something's up, you shouldn't be panting this much..." the Aerodactyl stops its relentless slashes. It's sweating and wincing in pain, "Take it a bit easier, we need these strikes to count!" upon this direction, Desert Rose flies backwards away from the sleeping wraith.

"We'll find our opportunity!"

"ScREEAAAEEAAhhhHHH!!"Desert Rose roars in support, and begins to encircle the opponent. It stays mainly aggressive with its wings, slashing at expected parries, and being wary enough to avoid attacks from the foe. Though the draconic aura has faded from its wings, they're still being threatened towards the foe as deadly consequences to a dropped defense.

Khaff- the prehistoric vulture's encircling of its foe is interrupted by its sickly cough, and it is visibly suffering from the ailment inflicted earlier in the battle.
"Rose, hang in there a little longer, and give it your all to deliver a wake-up call to this thing!!" Spurred to action by its trainer, Desert Rose pushes through the dizzying and painful affliction, and nose-dives into the violet opponent. A battle cry heralds the barrage it intends to inflict, and it once again glows with Draconic energy.
The force emanating from its wings armors them as they're swung wildly and violently against Tommie. This attack is relentless like before, but there's a hint of desperation to this onslaught as opposed to the last.

"We'll be your rude awakening!"
