starting at around 6:25 in the video, it is shown that in game your own sticky web can activate defiant after using court change, which is different from previous gens and what ps currently programs.

t17 in this game, speed drops didn't trigger defiant.

Confirmed, and it looks to only specifically be Court Change and Sticky Web. Things like Bulldoze on an ally, Syrup Bomb on an ally, attacking into an ally's Silk Trap, and an ally's Cotton Down activating (regardless of which side attacked it) all won't cause Defiant to activate.
