Bisharp makes for a staple on hyper offense team thanks to its ability to pressure Defoggers with its ability Defiant, therefore making it tough for the opposition to remove hazards. It also makes for a powerful wallbreaker due to its high Attack stat. Sucker Punch allows for Bisharp to revenge kill weakened threats for the team. A Jolly nature is recommended for Bisharp to outpace Modest Heatran and Timid Magearna, but an Adamant nature allows Bisharp to be able to possibly OHKO Toxapex and Chansey at +2, but both of them require Stealth Rock damages beforehand.

This Bisharp set is best used on the early- to mid-game, since it is a powerful wallbreaker, so a myriad of hyper offense teams appreciate Bisharp being able to break through walls and pressuring Defoggers thanks to Defiant. Suicide leads such as Mew and Ribombee appreciate Bisharp’s ability to deter Defog and keeping their hazards on the field. Setup sweepers such as Dragon Dance Dragapult, Omniboost Kommo-o, and Shift Gear Magearna appreciate Bisharp’s function as a wallbreaker for them to clean late-game, and they also appreciate Bisharp keeping hazards on the field and pressuring Defoggers. Grimmsnarl makes for a good option on hyper offense teams thanks to its ability to set up screens allowing Bisharp to set up Swords Dance more easily, and it also appreciates Bisharp pressuring Defoggers in order to keep its screens on the field.

I’m not a member of the QC team but I thought I’d suggest some changes first.

Grimmsnarl is a staple on hyper offense teams the best Dual Screens setter due to its access to Prankster and additional utility options moves in such as Dual Screens, Taunt and Thunder Wave. Thanks to Prankster, it can use a priority Taunt to prevent Defoggers from like Ho-Oh and Gliscor from clearing the screens, as well as stopping Grimmsnarl from becoming setup bait. to prevent setup from sweepers, such as Geomancy from Xerneas, and Dragon Dance from Mega Rayquaza. Thunder Wave allows Grimmsnarl to cripple foes, which can then be exploited by Grimmsnarl’s teammates. The item of choice is Light Clay, to maximise the duration of both Light Screen and Reflect. A Bold Nature along with maximum EV investment in both HP and Defense allows Grimmsnarl to be able to get both screens up in front of Zacian-C and Necrozma Dusk Mane tank hits better.

Grimmsnarl’s best fit is on hyper offensive archetypes teams, specifically screens. Suicide leads, such as Deoxys-Speed and Excadrill, appreciate Grimmsnarl’s priority Taunt to prevent Defoggers, such as Ho-Oh, from removing the hazards they set up. Furthermore, setup sweepers like Zacian-Crowned, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Blastoise, Ultra Necrozma and Xerneas appreciate both dual screens and Thunder Wave against crippled Pokemon. the screens support as it allows them to boost more easily thanks to their effective doubled bulk. Since Taunt still won’t stop spinners such as Excadrill and Smeargle from removing hazards set by Grimmsnarl’s teammates, pair Grimmsnarl with Ghost-types such as Arceus-Ghost and Lunala in order to spinblock. (Dragon Dance) Dusk Mane provides a reliable switchin to zacian-c and xern so maybe mention that in particular. Suicide leads such as Deoxys-Speed also appreciate Grimmsnarl’s ability to prevent Defog.

Any questions just PM me on Smogon.

Bisharp makes for a staple on hyper offense team thanks to its ability to pressure Defoggers with its ability Defiant, therefore making it tough for the opposition to remove hazards. It also makes for a powerful wallbreaker due to its high Attack stat and powerful STAB. It's STAB really isn't that powerful. The Powerful priority and good STAB combo is what makes it what it is. Sucker Punch allows for Bisharp to revenge kill weakened threats for the team. A Jolly nature is recommended for Bisharp to outpace Magnezone and Adamant Mega Tyranitar, Max Speed Ada Mtar and Timid Scarfless Zone are both very rare. This should focus on its ability to outrun Modest Heatran and Timid Magearna, both of which are much more common targets. but an Adamant nature allows Bisharp to guarantee OHKOs on Mega Sableye, while also being able to possibly OHKO Toxapex and Chansey at +2, but all of them require Stealth Rock damages beforehand. Jolly LO OHKOs Msab after Stealth Rock. This Bisharp set is best used on the early- to mid-game, since it is a powerful wallbreaker. This should really be in the second paragraph.

A myriad of hyper offense teams appreciate Bisharp being able to break through walls and pressuring Defoggers thanks to Defiant. Suicide leads such as Mew and Excadrill Suicide Lead Excadrill is bad. Emphasize that Mew is basically the only HO lead.appreciate Bisharp’s ability to deter Defog and keeping their hazards on the field. Grimmsnarl makes for a good option on hyper offense teams thanks to its ability to set up screens allowing Bisharp to set up Swords Dance more easily, and it also appreciates Bisharp pressuring Defoggers in order to keep its screens on the field. I would move the Grimmsnarl mention down because screens isn't the best style of HO rn. Setup sweepers such as Hawlucha and Mega Gyarados appreciate Bisharp’s function as a wallbreaker for them to clean late-game, and they also appreciate Bisharp keeping hazards on the field and pressuring Defoggers. These aren't necessarily bad mentions, but this does miss out on a lot of the HO staples as of right now. Think Dragon Dance Dragapult, Shift Gear Magearna, and Omniboost Kommo instead. Bisharp also fits on balance teams that can check Body Press users like Corviknight and Ferrothorn, so teammates that can pressure them, such as Galarian Darmanitan, Heatran, and Rotom-H are appreciated. Finally, since Bisharp is prone to getting worn down through status and Life Orb recoil, Wish support from Clefable is appreciated, and in return, Bisharp can switch into Poison-types like Gengar and Mega Venusaur. Clefable can also check the Fighting- and Dark-types that pressure Bisharp such as Ash-Greninja and Hydreigon. There are pretty significant issues with this last bit. Bisharp on standard balance teams is pretty hard to fit right now, and checking the body press users is the least of any balance teams worry when employing a bisharp. A whole host of common Pokemon, like Mega Lopunny and Hydreigon, should be focused on instead, not to mention that Ferrothorn doesn't really run Body Press at all. Bisharp also doesn't really switch into Gengar or MVenu confidently, and Clefable is a really shakey Ash Greninja Check and a fairly bizarre mention in the first place.

It's pretty fringe but sticky webs deserves a sentence somewhere just because Bish is extremely effective on those builds as well.

I'm gonna be honest with you dude. This analysis is not great in its current state and shows a lack of sufficient knowledge of the metagame. I'm not gonna stamp this in a state as it is right now, and a discussion will be taken up with QC about the future of this analysis.

After some discussion the QC team has decided to reassign this analysis. We really do appreciate your enthusiasm to write, but this just isn't quite up to standard and showcases a lack of sufficient metagame knowledge to be writing analyses.
