[SET COMMENTS]

Blastoise is a unique Pokemon in Series 11 for its access to G-Max Cannonade, ability to pressure foes with Yawn, and strong matchups against metagame staples such as Incineroar, Charizard, and Landorus-T. Blastoise is able to dish out large amounts of damage with G-Max Cannonade's powerful residual effect, and Hydro Cannon gives Blastoise the strongest possible G-Max Cannonade, and being inflexible outside of Dynamax doesn't matter much since Blastoise often is the one Dynamaxing on the team. Blizzard gives Blastoise the strongest possible Max Hailstorm against threats such as Venusaur, Dragapult, and Rillaboom, 2HKOing Dynamaxed Dragapult. Ice Beam can be used for more consistency outside of Dynamax, which is especially relevant given that the hail set by Max Hailstorm is often replaced, leaving Blizzard inaccurate. Blastoise can pressure Dynamaxed Pokemon with Yawn reliably thanks to its natural bulk, threatening to waste their Dynamax turns. Fake Out, Helping Hand, and Terrain Pulse are all more niche options that can be run over preferably Protect but also Yawn. Fake Out gives Blastoise's teammates opportunities to set up or get a strong attack off. Helping Hand allows Blastoise to boost the power of its teammates such as Zacian-C unimpeded due to its high priority. Terrain Pulse allows Blastoise to hit Water-types such as Kyogre, Gastrodon, and opposing Blastoise super effectively when paired with Rillaboom's Grassy Surge. Aqua Jet is an alternative option over Yawn on Coalossal teams so that Blastoise can best position itself to activate Coalossal's Weakness Policy and Steam Engine. Wacan Berry improves Blastoise's matchup against Regieleki and offensive Thundurus. Alternatively, Life Orb boosts Blastoise's damage output immensely, enabling it to 2HKO Gigantamax Venusaur and Dynamaxed Rillaboom with Max Hailstorm. Blastoise's given Speed investment outspeeds paralyzed Calyrex-S and also outspeeds it at +2, both of which are relevant given that support Thundurus and Landorus-T that can boost its Speed with Max Airstream are common partners.

Blastoise is most commonly paired with Zacian-C to pressure Pokemon such as Incineroar, Rotom-H, and Landorus-T for it, while Zacian-C checks Rillaboom for Blastoise. Furthermore, the residual damage from G-Max Cannonade can set Zacian-C up to sweep late-game. Incineroar checks Grass-types such as Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Rillaboom and offers Blastoise Fake Out pressure. Grimmsnarl's dual screens support and speed control allow Blastoise to pressure foes more easily. Support Thundurus pairs similarly well with Blastoise, as it can provide speed control and support in Eerie Impulse to help Blastoise better take on threats such as Venusaur and Regieleki. Landorus-T is very frequently paired with Blastoise, as it checks Regieleki and Grass-types. Rillaboom smacks Water-types such as Gastrodon, Tapu Fini, and Kyogre, which Blastoise struggles to damage. Coalossal deals with threats to Blastoise like Thundurus and Venusaur, and Blastoise in return can check Ground-type threats to Coalossal like Landorus-T, as well as activate Coalossal's Weakness Policy and Steam Engine via Aqua Jet.

in-battle alt: G-Max

[SET COMMENTS]

Blastoise is a unique Pokemon in Series 11 for its ability to support its team defensively with Yawn outside Dynamax and offensively under Dynamax, offering a powerful G-Max Cannonade to hit staples such as Incineroar, Charizard and Landorus-T. (Swap the mentions of yawn and Blastoise having a powerful G-Max Cannonade, Blastoise is moreso a strong dynamax abuser that could pressure with Yawn. I also think it would be better worded as something like "its powerful Gmax Cannonade and strong matchups into...") Even with very little to no investment,(If you're going to say Blastoise can deal a lot of damage than this is unneeded.) Blastoise is able to dish out large amounts of damage with G-Max Cannonade's power residual effect and Blastoise runs off Hydro Cannon which gives it the strongest possible Max Move. maximum power and the powerful residual damage effect. (Just tried to make this flow better. You can elaborate how being inflexible outside Dynamax isn't too much a problem since Blastoise oftentimes wants to Dynamax.)Blizzard is used mainly to hit Rillaboom as hard as possible and can be used as Max Hailstorm during Dynamax to change the weather. Other important targets include Thundurus and Venusaur. Ice Beam can be used alternatively but Blizzard has the advantage over it because of its being perfectly accurate in hail. (I feel like what these moves are actually good for is being missed. Blastoise wants to Dynamax so what these moves do outside of Dynamax doesn't matter much. Blizzard is good because it gives Blastoise the strongest possible Max Hailstorm. Also Blizzard shouldn't be stated as primarily hitting Rillaboom, Venusaur is more pertinent in this metagame. Blizzard setting the hail is also not very important to mention. You could say Hailstorm is its strongest option versus pult, Rilla, and venu. Ice Beam is simply a weaker but more consistent option outside Dynamax,) Blastoise can pressure Yawn on Dynamax Pokemon reliably thanks to its natural bulk, threatening to waste their Dynamax. Aqua Jet is run over Yawn on Coalossal teams for activating Coalossal's to activate its Weakness Policy and giving it the Steam Engine.(AP) (Make Aqua Jet the last of the alternative moves you mention and mention that Protect should not be dropped when running Aqua jet so that Blasotise can best position itself to activate Weakness Policy.) boost while Helping Hand allows Blastoise to give a more general power boost to its teammates such as Zacian-C. Terrain Pulse is another option that allows Blastoise to hit Water-types such as Kyogre, Gastrodon, and opposing Blastoise super effectively when paired with Rillaboom. (Fake Out deserves mention, especially since you went with mentioning Helping Hand. Make a general statement saying which options you'd run HH Fake Out and Terrain Pulse over which is over preferably Protect but also Yawn. After that explain the moves.) The Wacan Berry lets Blastoise comfortably survive Regieleki's Thunderbolt.(Regieleki has none Thunderbolt attacks," improve Blastoise's matchup versus Regieleki" could do) Alternatively, Life Orb boosts Blastoise's damage output to high levels. (Give examples. You 2HKO Dynamaxed Venusaur) The HP investment minimises chip damage from G-Max moves such as G-Max Volcalith. Blastoise outspeeds both Urshifu formes with the given Speed investment after it is passed a Max Airstream Speed boost from an ally such as Thundurus. The rest of the EVs are put in Special Attack to maximise Blastoise's damage output with G-Max Cannonade as it is already naturally bulky. (The fact that the EVs are put into bulk and than special attack should be inferred.)

Blastoise is commonly paired with Zacian-C and Incineroar as it pressures G-Max Cannonade on Pokemon such as opposing Incineroar, Rotom-H, and Landorus-T that give Zacian-C and Incineroar trouble. (Just cut Incineroar here and emphasize how Zacian-C is its best Restricted Partner or most common. The justification of Incineroar is not mainly in how other Pokemon can support it rather how it supports other Pokemon and Zacian-C is important enough to deserve its own point + you talk about it later anyways. )The residual damage from G-Max Cannonade sets up late game Zacian-C for a clean up with its powerful +1 attacks. Zacian-C(Try and compress this with the first point after Incineroar has been cut from it.) in return helps Blastoise fight off Rillaboom. Incineroar helps mitigate Rillaboom's damage output onto Blastoise via Intimidate and also provides Blastoise with Fake Out and Parting Shot support, allowing it to fire off a Yawn or G-Max Cannonade uncontested. Incineroar also acts as a check to Amoonguss. (Lets compress this, simply say something along the lines of Incineroar acts as a check to Grass-types such as Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Rillaboom and offers Fake Out pressure for Blastoise. It doesn't make sense to mention Parting Shot with the way you have this written and its not necessary to mention.)Grimmsnarl further bolsters Blastoise's bulk via dual screens,(it can provide speed control too and read my comment at the end of the paragraph.) allowing Blastoise to pressure the opponent more easily. stall out Dynamaxes or heavily chip opposing teams. Grimmsnarl also helps Blastoise with its middling Speed via Scary Face and Thunder Wave.(Read my previous comment, you can just mention speed control there instead of making an unnecessarily long section about Grimmsnarl.)

(Support Thundurus deserves mention, its quite common on Blastoise builds. It can provide speed control and mitigate damage output that comes to it via Eerie Impulse. Landorus-T is another good and common component of Blastoise teams, it can check Grass-types and Regieleki for Blastoise. You mention Blastoise with Coalossal in the first paragraph, elaborate here. Coalossal can deal with threats to Blastoise like Thundurus and Venusaur, while Blastoise can deal with Ground-type threats to Coalossal and activate its weakness Policy. Rillaboom deserves mention as a partner can slam Water-types that Blastoise can't hurt too much bar Terrain Pulse such as Tapu Fini, Gastrodon, and Kyogre and Blastoise handles threats to rilla like incin and lando-t.)

Blastoise is a unique Pokemon in Series 11 for its access to Gmax Cannonade, ability to pressure the opponent with Yawn, and strong matchups into metagame ability to support its team both offensively under Dynamax, offering a powerful G-Max Cannonade to hit staples such as Incineroar, Charizard and Landorus-T and offering strong matchups against Kyogre, Zacian-C and Coalossal teams and defensively(This is quite a similar point to what you just said.) with Yawn outside Dynamax. Blastoise is able to dish out large amounts of damage(This could be made into something more concise.) with G-Max Cannonade's power residual effect and Blastoise runs Hydro Cannon which gives it the strongest possible Max Move and although it is unreliable being inflexible(Its not really unreliable its 90% accurate.) outside of Dynamax, it doesn't matter much since Blastoise often Dynamaxes. as Blastoise wants to Dynamax a lot of the time. Blizzard gives Blastoise the strongest possible Max Hailstorm against threats such as Venusaur, Dragapult, and Rillaboom, allowing a 2HKO onto Dynamaxed Dragapult. threatening to 2HKO Dynamaxed Venusaur and Dragapult and OHKO non-Assault Vest Rillaboom.(Rilla and venu live most of the time) Ice Beam can be used alternatively ("can be used" and "alternatively")for more consistency outside of Dynamax especially given that the hail set up by Max Hailstorm is often replaced leaving Blizzard inaccurate. but Blizzard has the advantage over it because of its being perfectly accurate in hail. Blastoise can pressure Yawn on Dynamax Pokemon reliably thanks to its natural bulk, threatening to waste their Dynamax.(AP)(Make a statement of what moves HH Terrain Pulse and Fake Out can be used over, which is preferably Protect but also Yawn.) while Helping Hand allows Blastoise to give a more general power boost to its boost the power of its teammates unimpeded, due to its high priority. such as Zacian-C. Fake Out gives one of Blastoise's teammates like Zacian-C opportunities(How does it give opportunities? which is by shutting down an opponent.) to set up with Swords Dance or Substitute or get a strong attack off. Terrain Pulse is another option that allows Blastoise to hit Water-types such as Kyogre, Gastrodon, and opposing Blastoise super effectively when paired with Rillaboom.(Mention Aqua Jet here its used over Yawn and further elaborate that if Blastoise is running Aqua Jet it should not drop Protect so it can best position itself to activate Coal's policy and Steam Engine.) Wacan Berry improves Blastoise's matchup against Regieleki and offensive Thundurus. Alternatively, Life Orb boosts Blastoise's damage output to high levels,(idt to high levels reads well.) 2HKOing Dynamaxed Venusaur and Dynamaxed Rillaboom with Max Hailstorm for instance. The HP investment minimiszes chip damage from G-Max moves such as G-Max Volcalith. The HP investment minimises chip damage from G-Max moves such as G-Max Volcalith.(Same sentence twice and I just cut it because I'm pretty sure its optimal either way bulk wise.) Blastoise outspeeds Calyrex-S with the given Speed investment after Calyrex-S takes a Thunder Wave or Scary Face from Thundurus. Blastoise outspeed paralyzed Calyrex-S and also outspeeds it when at +2, both relevant given that Support Thundurus and Landorus-T who can Max Airstream are common partners. (I reworded this and added Landorus-T.)

Blastoise is most commonly paired with Zacian-C as it pressures G-Max Cannonade on Pokemon such as Incineroar, Rotom-H, and Landorus-T, while Zacian-C checks Rillaboom for Blastoise. that give Zacian-C trouble. Furthermore Tthe residual damage from G-Max Cannonade sets up late game Zacian-C for a clean up with its powerful boosted attacks and Zacian-C in return helps Blastoise fight off Rillaboom can set Zacian-C up to sweep. (Tried to clean this area up, the fact that Zacian-C is strong should be obvious and this section is long.) Incineroar checks Grass-types such as Venusaur, Amoonguss, and Rillaboom and offers Blastoise Fake Out pressure. Grimmsnarl's further bolsters Blastoise's bulk via dual screens and can provide it Speed control via Thunder Wave and Scary Face, dual screens support and speed control allowing Blastoise to pressure the opponent more easily. Support Thundurus pairs similarly well with Blastoise,(AC) as its to Grimmsnarl. Eerie Impulse allows helps(too many allows) Blastoise to better take on threats such as Venusaur and Regieleki and it provides Thunder Wave and Scary Face are good means of Speed control. Landorus-T checks Regieleki and Grass-types for Blastoise.(This is very short and straight forward I would emphasize how lando is one of its best partners.) Coalossal deals with threats to Blastoise like Thundurus and Venusaur and Blastoise in return can deal with check(You just used "deal with") Ground-type threats to Coalossal like Landorus-T,(AC) and as well activate Coalossal's Weakness Policy and Steam Engine. Rillaboom smacks Water-types such as Gastrodon, Tapu Fini, and Kyogre which Blastoise struggles to damage. would otherwise not be able to break through without Terrain Pulse. (Well Rillaboom is also the Pokemon that would allow it to use Terrain Pulse, also we shouldn't assume blastoise is running pulse since its much less common.)

Blastoise can pressure Yawn on Dynamax Pokemon reliably thanks to its natural bulk, threatening to waste their Dynamax. Helping Hand allows Blastoise to boost the power of its teammates(myb on removing the example you could mention Zacian-C. Unlike Fake Out HH is more specific so an example makes sense.) unimpeded, due to its high priority. Fake Out gives one of Blastoise's teammates like Zacian-C opportunities to set up with Swords Dance or Substitute or get a strong attack off.(Fake Out's a generally good tool we don't need a specific example here, also explain how its giving opportunities.) Terrain Pulse allows Blastoise to hit Water-types such as Kyogre, Gastrodon, and opposing Blastoise super effectively when paired with Rillaboom's Grassy Surge. Aqua Jet is an alternative option on Coalossal teams to activate its Weakness Policy and Steam Engine. All of the aforementioned four moves with the exception of Aqua Jet can be run over Protect and in the case of Aqua Jet, Yawn should be dropped to better allow Blastoise to position itself to activate Coalossal.(I can get what you were trying to do here, but mentioning multiple options could be confusing without clarifying it early on. Clarify early on what Blastoise's alternative options are run over.) Wacan Berry improves Blastoise's matchup against Regieleki and offensive Thundurus. Alternatively, Life Orb boosts Blastoise's damage output immensely, enabling it to 2HKO Dynamaxed Venusaur and Dynamaxed Rillaboom with Max Hailstorm or instance. Landorus-T checks Regieleki and Grass-types for Blastoise.(Like I said last check a bit short, perhaps emphasize that Landorus-T is a really good/common teammate.) Coalossal deals with threats to Blastoise like Thundurus and Venusaur and Blastoise in return can check Ground-type threats to Coalossal like Landorus-T,(AC) as well as activate Coalossal's Weakness Policy and Steam Engine via Aqua Jet. Rillaboom smacks Water-types such as Gastrodon, Tapu Fini, and Kyogre which Blastoise struggles to damage. (Minor but swap the other of rilla and coal, since stoise coal is niche.)

Landorus-T is very frequently paired with Blastoise, as it checks Regieleki and Grass-types for Blastoise and Blastoise in return heavily threatens Incineroar whose Intimidate can slow Landorus-T down.(What I meant.)
