On a more serious note
CrreamyKitty Duskfall98 is there any chance that you two work together against Austria (and maybe Russia?) instead of Tommy moving against me?
Especially speaking to Tommy, I do understand your fears in broad strokes; fearing that R-F-E will sweep the board is an objectively reasonable fear, and I get your reaction to it. Is there any possible way that I can convince you these fears are a bit overhyped? (Because they are)
As I said earlier, the 3-way alliance is for the express purpose of removing Germany from the board. None of us have made any promises regarding a go-forward path after this task has been accomplished. Germany is, quite understandably, willing to do and say anything to survive, no matter how farfetched.
This next message is to the
Italian general: Any incursion into the Western Mediterranean or Pie without express permission will be treated as a declaration of war. Don't open up a front in which you have no possible chance of winning. I'll let you know in advance how a "war" between the two of us will play out.
1) I'll block Pie and wheel my fleets down Spain / Western Mederranean
2) It will be impossible for you to break through the Pie chokehold
3) While I have bottled up your armies in the west, Austria and Turkey (who, like you, need centers to both win and possibly contest Russia) will attack you from behind to bolster their own strength
4) You lose.
Italy is rough because it is generally considered the weakest power, I get that. If you focus on the east, again with one of R-T-A, you will at least stand a chance of victory. If you focus on the west, you will only
guarantee your loss. Focus on the east, gain strength there, and we can revisit a long-term alliance when both of us are more established.
Again, happy for tommy to reach out to me with any questions.
