Bliss Wish Cleric Set

As you know blissey has recently received the ability to learn heal bell through a move tutor. As such you can now heal both yourself and teamates of hp and ailments. As their is a cleric and a wish set, it seems inappropriate to list heal bell as an option in the wish set, or wish in the cleric one as then both sets are the same. It may also be appropriate to merge the two sets.

[Set Comments]

This set has a relatively simple purpose, switch in on a special attacker and support the team with healing of hp or status ailments. This set is ideal on offensive teams, as it allows you to try to sweep with the same pokemon multiple times and removes hindering status ailments such as burn or paralysis while only using one slot and making special sweepers ineffective against your team. On defensive teams, this blissey allows your other walls more open moveslots.

Wish is an extremely important move on this set as it allows you to heal teammates hp, as well as blissey's. Heal bell allows blissey to heal its teammates of status ailments. Protect gives blissey reliable healing in the form of wish and protect. Softboiled gives blissey an instant heal option. Toxic is good for outstalling other walls if you don't mind the lack of recovery. Flamethrower ice beam and thunderbolt can be used to kill scizor and steels, salamence, and gyarados respectively. Seismic toss gives you reliable damage, while flamethrower gives you an option against against steels and scizor. If you hate gyarados or salamence, thunderbolt and ice beam are options.

[Additional Comments]

This set really benefits from a pokemon that can effectively pursuit, such as scizor. This allows you to remove annoying ghost types that can switch in and cause this blissey to be useless. This set also really benefits from ghost type teamates such as gengar and rotom or extremely defensive pokemon like vaporeon or skarmory, who can take all the fighting type or extremely powerful physical attacks aimed at blissey. Defensive Rotom-h and this blissey are a great pair, as Rotom-h can take all the fighting type attacks and burn their users, while blissey can heal up rotom-h and keep it safe from shadow balls and other special attacks.

First of all, wheres the additional comments? There is no team options on this set. Also, you'll need this to be approved by the Quality Control team before posting it here. Furthermore lack of spacing and the fact this analysis is rather small isn't good at all.

Sorry if I sounded harsh but you may want to look at other people's analysis before posting.

there are a lot of simple mistakes in this write-up as well.

since this seems to be wish bliss + heal bell slashed in, i would almost suggest c/p the original wish bliss set and simply adding comments about why heal bell should be used over protect / softboiled / toxic (and thus causing these moves to be slashed together)

have you tested this set? how does it play?

Yeah that's pretty much what the set is. The thing is, both the wish bliss sets and cleric bliss sets go together. As such, it seems we should almost combine the sets. (because if you change one then th It works out quite nicely as bliss can take pretty much any special attack and support the team, allowing ample opportunity to get rid of all sorts of status conditions. The thing is, its foolproof healing and status ailment healing. Protect keeps blissey from getting in trouble. This plays like a wishbliss with no toxic really. However I do not know where I could recommend a merging of the sets, which I think is a good idea.

In future only post sets and analyses in QC. This seems very similar to existing sets to me, but I'll leave it for the OU QCers to deal with.

Thanks eric, I'll do that next time. Tay if you are ever back, please realize that heal bell can now be tutored in hgss so the set is legal.

To be honest, I can't see this getting its own full set. At the very best, it deserves a slight mention... but I can't even justify doing that. I'm going to have to say no on this one as well, sorry.

This is a really bad rewrite of a set that could just have Heal Bell added onto it if it was actually viable.
