Blissey's amazing bulk, role of status absorber thanks to Natural Cure, and utility moves such as Stealth Rock and Soft-Boiled in conjunction with Heavy-Duty Boots all make it one of Monotype's best walls. Teleport makes Blissey one of the best defensive pivots in the metagame and synergizes well with strong wallbreakers like Diggersby. Blissey forms one of the most potent defensive cores in Monotype with Braviary and Porygon2. However, due to Blissey's near nonexistent offensive presence, it is extremely susceptible to offensive setup users like Dragapult and Bisharp. Stallbreakers also easily take advantage of it and Knock Off users like Mew severely threaten it. Blissey also fails to successfully hold its own against other defensive Pokemon like Slowbro and Toxapex.

[SET]
name: Defensive (Normal)
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Seismic Toss
move 3: Soft-Boiled
move 4: Teleport
item: Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Natural Cure
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Stealth Rock eases the path for Blissey's offensive teammates while also heavily chipping down threats like Galarian Darmanitan and Choice Band Victini. Seismic Toss prevents Blissey from being totally passive, allowing it to deal notable damage to offensive Pokemon like Tapu Koko and Taunt users such as Mew. Soft-Boiled provides reliable recovery, allowing Blissey to act as a reliable wall against foes like Hydreigon and Nidoking throughout the game. Teleport makes it a great defensive pivot, safely bringing in its offensive teammates like Diggersby and Heliolisk.

All of Blissey's teammates appreciate its ability to absorb status conditions while safely bringing them into the field with Teleport. Porygon2 and Braviary form a potent defensive core with Blissey. Porygon2 can reliably switch into physical attacks from the likes of Landorus-T while also forming a great Teleport core with Blissey, while Braviary provides Defog support for the team and a neutrality to Fighting-type attacks, switching in against foes such as Choice Scarf Heracross. Diggersby is a great wallbreaker, taking care of opposing walls like Ferrothorn and Toxapex that Blissey fails to do much against, while Heliolisk aids greatly in the Water- and Flying-type matchups. Obstagoon provides a Psychic immunity while also threatening Ghost-type Pokemon like Blacephalon and Aegislash, which wall Blissey completely. Ditto deals with setup sweepers such as Volcarona and Aegislash that get the better of Blissey's passivity. Indeedee aids greatly in the Fighting-type matchup and provides a great special wallbreaker for Normal-type teams.

Blissey can opt to run Toxic, Thunder Wave, or Heal Bell in lieu of Stealth Rock. However, its teammates generally appreciate Stealth Rock more.

Checks and Counters
===================

Normal
--------

**Setup Sweepers**: Due to Blissey's passivity, setup sweepers, especially ones with reliable recovery such as Dragapult and Scizor, comfortably set up on it.

**Stallbreakers**: As Blissey heavily relies on its utility moves, stallbreakers such as Mew, Zarude, and Mandibuzz can completely shut it down with Taunt, even preventing it from bringing in a teammate with Teleport.

**Wallbreakers**: While Blissey's amazing bulk allows it to comfortably deal with a majority of both physical and special threats, powerful wallbreakers like Choice Band Victini, Galarian Darmanitan, and Crawdaunt have little to no trouble breaking through it.

[overview]
- i want you to devote a whole line to teleport, since that is one of blissey's main niches

[set comments]
- which offensive pokemon and taunt users does blissey use seismic toss vs, give examples
- name some key threats is impressive bulk allows it to take on
- add indeedee as a teammate

[other options]
- also mention heal bell as an option over sr

[other options]
- in setup sweepers i wouldn't take about volcarona, it needs to many conditions to be met to 1v1 blissey like no toxic/twave while also needing roost, maybe mention something like dd dragapult
- mention stallbreakers also prevent it from safely bringing in its teammates with teleport
