Tournament BLT X - Week 1

• Follow all rules listed here.​
• Schedule via Smogon VMs. It's easier for me to make decisions for activity calls when I can actually see what went down with scheduling.​
• If you are unable to schedule with your opponent, please let your managers know ASAP so they can communicate that to me or the other team's managers for a potential substitute.​
• Substitutions may be made after a week has started. When making a substitution, please tag myself, the managers of the opposing team, and all of the players affected by the substitute to ensure that everyone is made aware. Players who have already played in the week or were subbed out in the same week cannot be subbed back in.​
• If a match remains incomplete by the time of the deadline, it will be subject to an activity call.​
• Replays are mandatory. Not only are they useful for confirming wins, they contribute to usage stats and allow the people who couldn't watch the games live to watch them later.​
• Managers: Please send me your lineups in the same format that I used to post pairings. It makes it much easier to post future rounds more quickly.​

Dirges v Troupe

SV OU: MichaelderBeste2 vs lax , Favoring lax in what's probably the most hypable game in this set. I think Michael's great but I can see some trouble adjusting to SV, which makes me inclined to pick lax for this game.
SV OU: myjava vs Mashing, not another mashing tour in roa mashing pls get some good rng
SV Ubers: Fogbound Lake vs Inder, probably the 2nd biggest powerhouse game in this set, I'm really torn but I think inder's on hot form lately from what I've been seeing, but fogbound lake is also a very hyped ubers player and was I think our first qualifier. Definitely a must watch game.
SV UU: justdrew vs UnzipsCrogre, drew is top 8 masters buuut crogre is a fellow baxbro and having teamed with him for a few weeks now I'm inclined to bold him. He's so in this.
SV RU: tier vs dunoks, neutral on this game I've not seen either play RU but I think the popular consensus might lean in dunoks' favor
SV NU: Togkey vs Axrtix, tier leader versus someone who I think is being really underrated. I've played axrtix a few times and I enjoy their teambuilding and I think they can really snag an upset here.
SV PU: tlenit vs Danny, another stacked mu that could be in either side's favor but tlenit is my slight favorite here.
SV LC: Greedy_eb vs Acehunter1, I think this could be 50/50 but I'm favoring eb because acehunter seems to be cursed in BLT
SV DOU: Chris32156 vs Akaru Kokuyo, we've done Akaru dirty in micoy's vids and while I'm a fan of Chris' teams, I think Akaru's out to prove a point this week and I'm looking forward to that game

SV NU: NHelioX7 vs MTB, fun mu but I'll go with MTB since I've seen more of their NU prowess.

SV OU: clean vs Piyush25, piyush recently topped OU ladder and is doing real hot. I'm inclined to give him the momentum pick.
SV OU: Stareal vs Fc. Controversial to a lot of people, but stareal is that guy and is probably the better ou player. Would be a different talking point if this was the ubers mu.
SV Ubers: Ainzcrad vs Takatk. Rooting for another baxbro, who's doing really hot in ULT.
SV UU: Shiba vs udongirl. Both are great UU players, but I think I want to favor udon here as the better of the two in SV.
SV RU: mj vs Plas. Battle of old hats, going to support tours bro mj o7, 14k price tag is crazy but he will justify it.
SV NU: TeamCharm vs skimmythegod, I've seen a fair bit of both play, but I think I've seen more skimmy NU games. TeamCharm feels more comfortable as a predict for me here.
SV PU: DugZa vs Tenebricite. DugZa is a great lower tier player and I think vishes got a steal by getting him. If he's helping the other slots I might have to revise my predicts as well.
SV LC: Lokifan vs Hacker . Hard not to back the defending LC circuit champ and a bro, but I could see Lokifan pulling an upset.
SV DOU: Xrn vs eragon11145, both are so good at doubles but I want to favor eragon atm after having spoken to DOU Mains.
SV Monotype: Jojo8868 vs TDR . mono mains but I think there's a clear stronger pick here.

elfu has looked very impressive since the start of the gen with lc. 7-2 lcwl and some good individual runs too. gorex isnt bad but i think its super bold not to think elfu will win this while elfu is on fire
