Blue Harvest's Relicanth Sucks!

I need help beating Blue Harvest's relicanth!! ok so me and her had a UU/BL battle and her damn relicanth killeds more than half my team. Its because she has choise scarf! I need help with my UU team to defet that thing.

I start with Ninetails because its my fastest pokemon and then I use hypnosis then nasty plot and then Energy ball or fire blast. Now Blue Harvest stats with relicanth and I can't get a move with this because of choise scarf.

chatot is really good with its hyper voice, But think I want to replace roost with sing so I can put that relicanth to sleep because chatot can take one hit from that thing!

This pikachu is from PBR. I thought it would be quick enough to out run relicanth even with choise scaf, boy was I wrong. This pikachu is more powerful then ash's!!

This is the only thing I have thats faster then that relicanth but there's not really any moves that are super affective aganist it.

Please help with my UU team. I'd will appreciate it much! I just need some advice on taking down that relicanth.

Well, it OHKOed Onix after a Swords Dance. It probably could kill Relicanth in one hit, but it would need a turn to set up without any damage. This thing is surprisingly cute on PBR.

Chatot survived a hit from it? Really? Also you have Hyper Voice listed twice on the moveset.

The Pikachu isn't faster then Relicanth, but its damn Static almost screwed me over on our third game.

It only counters if I use Waterfall! Earthquake 3HKOs you, where you 3HKO me back. But i'm faster, and get a free hit when you switch in.

Huh? Granbul... Granubul... the purple dog thing wasn't faster then Relicanth. It took a hit, but it wasn't faster.

Please help with my UU team. I'd will appreciate it much! I just need some advice on taking down that relicanth.

hmm...focuse slash could work, but then my accuracy would be bad. And I sware Granbul is faster, but you still killed it in two hits.

Better to miss an attack once in a while then to be OHKOed by my amazing fish thing.

At least you weren't decimated by her Mawile / Beedrill.

I've never seen a Mawile that tough, or a Beedrill that dangerous.

Zangoose is BL IIRC.

A Meganium, Quagsire or Gastrodon easily takes on Relicanth. Put it over Granbul or Zangoose, 'cause you've got enough normal guys running around. Consider Altaria > Chatot. Choice Specs+Draco Meteor = yay.

I used a Scarf Relicanth in OU as a starter and I must say I liked it. Head Smash/Aqua Tail/Earthquake/Double Edge caught a lot of people off guard.

Good luck beating the ancient fish =p

Thank you for your help. Good idea about replcing Zanggose or grunbull. I think I'll take you up on yopur advice. Chatot is good he's just weak in defences, because hyper vocie can kill most anything in a 1HKO after using nasty plot.

I took another quick look at your team and I have some more suggestions.

Ninetales: I'd go Flamethrower > Fire Blast. Tales is very fragile and you don't want to miss when it counts.

Zangoose: I love Zangoose.

Chatot: Never used the guy, but you might want to give him Focus Sash. That way he'll always get in a NP. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he'll probably get knocked out by pretty much everything. That's why you shouldn't give him Roost. You won't need Sing either, 'cause you have Ninetales for that. Put Encore over it.

Pikachu: You don't really need both VT and TB, but if you like it, keep it. Go with Grass Knot otherwise. I'd go Substitute > Quick Attack unless you really need QA.

Wailord: You lack any kind of wall, so I'd take this guy out and use something Probopass instead. It takes on dangerous Normal and Psychic sweepers, that otherwise would give you great trouble. Takes a Relicanth Head Smash like a pro too.

Granbull: This thing has a lot more potential. It hits very hard with a Choice Band, so use that. Return/Crunch/Close Combat/Earthquake or Ice Fang puts a nice dent in a lot of Pokémon. You could also go bulky and give it things like Heal Bell and Thunder Wave. That set needs lots of Defense though.


There's a good chance I must a couple of things that need fixing, but I think this should help you out a bit.
 
Thank you Grawl you have pointed out some good things. I will get ride of quick attack for substitute on pikachu, but its hard for me to get rid of wailord because i like it to much lol. But thanks you've been a big help.

lol yeah they're not very helpful. You can't find good help these days. But I thank you and grawl for helping. I geuss this is all the help I'm getting so I'll try to twek my team from you guy's advice.

I would use Quick Attack over Return on this just to hit anything that outspeeds it. Its speed may be good, but not good enough for some UU pokemons.

Give this thing Choice Band or Scarf or Life Orb. Also, why do you use Rest? Is there any particular point without Sleep Talk?

I would take it off for Crunch so it doesn't get owned by Mismagius and Gardevoir etc. etc. .

I'd replace Granbull for Quagsire. And most of the natures on your pokes are terrible IMO

thanks but I want to try with just this team or I could also replace grunbull with this.

Also I know my natures are crap so I'm working on catvhing dittos, so just try to agnore the natures for now.
 
Use Poliwrath: immune to Waterfall/Resistant to Head Smash, takes less than threatening damage from Eq, and hits back hard with a STAB Brick Break/Hypnosis
