ORAS Ubers Body Slammin' Hax Offense 1667 ELO #22 Peak

I have managed to get this team all the way up to 1667 ELO on ladder at its current highest point. I manged to reach Indigo Plateau so now my goal is to make this team become extremely dominant. This Team involves Mega Kanga, Primal Groudon, Yveltal, Arceus/Ekiller, Xerneas, and Giratina-O

Teambuilding Process: So my team sort of evolved from older teams all the back from XY and adjusted to become better. In XY I started with Mega Kanga, Dialga, Kyogre, Arceus, Xerneas, and Aegislash. Then ORAS came and Dialga and Aegislash received the boot. With Primal Groudon and Giratina. Kyogre got replaced by Primal Kyogre. Later on Giratina became Giratina-O and my team became better than it has ever been before. I then was suggested to replace Primal Kyogre with Yveltal.
All bolded moves are current and prev means it was that move when the RMT was created.

Kangaskhan/The Baby Slammer (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Body Slam
- Sucker Punch
- Earthquake

I have been using this pokemon for a long time on my Ubers Team and is usually the first thing you see in a battle vs me. I will often start with a Fake Out which will cause a flinch and can punish Pokemon such as Pokemon easily at the start of a battle and throughout. Body Slam is the Main STAB move. Body Slam even though it has less power than Return it has a paralysis rate of 51%. People often call hax when I paralyze them but in reality it is LIKELY you will be paralyzed by Body Slam. Sometimes it becomes in my best interest to not switchon Pokemon who set-up like Mega Salamence because of this incredibly high rate. Earthquake is a coverage move for Steels Types like Klefki or Pdon, it covers what Normal does not. Sucker Punch is a good move to get damage off even when slower and gives a team more priority if an opposing Xern ever gets past my team.

Xerneas @ Power Herb
Ability: Fairy Aura
EVs: 184 HP / 28 Def/ 252 SpA / 44 Spe
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Geomancy
- Aromatherapy
- Thunder

Geomancy Xerneas is pretty common and is a really good late game sweeper. For the EVs I actually did enough to Outspeed Choice Scarf Genesect while giving him a SpA boost. The rest goes in HP to make Xerneas as bulky as possible. Moonblast is obviously it's main STAB move. Geomancy is it's set-up move so it can sweep. It has to be used strategically so it doesn't get Whirlwinded, or simplying setting up on something like Aegislash or Klefki. Thunder is a coverage move which is designed to get Arceus-Water, Primal Kygore, and Ho-oh. Xern also has another role on my team as a cleric. With Aromatherapy it can heal my team from status. Even though I am sacking coverage on Xern it helps my team vs Stall which is important.

Groudon-Primal @ Red Orb
Ability: Desolate Land
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Thunder Wave

This set is a common P-Don set that helps my team set up by setting up rocks and paralyzing major threats. It's main STAB is Earthquake which is better than Blades becuase it NEVER misses. It is the only Stealth Rock user for the team, which is huge with 2 Dragon Tail users, so it can mess with teams that switch constantly. Lava Plume is there so I have can a move that 1HKO Ferrothorn and Skarmory on my team. It also has use as a way to burn Pokemon such as Mega Sableye.Thunder Wave is great against sweepers too because it slows them down and stops them in their tracks. I can also use it when predicting a switch to a Primal Groudon Check.

Yveltal/SHINY BACON @ Life Orb
Ability: Dark Aura
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 72 Atk / 252 SpA / 184 Spe
Naive Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Oblivion Wing
- Sucker Punch
- Taunt

Yveltal is a huge member of my team because it does many roles that the rest of my team does not do. It is a major threat against Ghost types, Lugia, and even halts Ferrothorn. Dark Pulse is it's main STAB move which does the most damage and is most reliable in most situations. Oblivion Wing is the better option when I am at lower health because it helps restore HP and help Yveltal last longer. Sucker Punch is physical but it has great use because it can easily suprise something that is faster and defeat it. This great move to use against something like Mewtwo or anything faster at Low HP. Yveltal even answers slower pokemon who stall with Taunt which allows it to prevent it from being status or having something set up. It can break apart stall teams by preventing pokemon from getting there toxic, leech seed or anything up and even blocks Xerneas from setting Geomancy. But you do have to be careful with predicting Xern. Yveltal is a cruical stall breaker that helps the team survive stall

Arceus @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 132 HP/ 252 Atk / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge

This set is a common E-Killer set that can sweep when in the right situation. This is where I went different from Lord Outrage's team idea because I really want to outspeed Jolly Ho-oh and confindentely hit it with Stone Edge. I found success with this EV set because it can also outspeed other bulky Arceus. The Lum Berry gives the team a Pokemon who doesn't have to fear Darkrai and prevents Arceus from being Crippled by Burn. The Lum Berry gives Arceus a 2nd life against status. Extreme Speed is it's Main STAB move. Swords Dance then allows it it to set-up and sweep. Earthquake is coverage is great against Primal Groudon, Dialga, Klefki and more and is the common secondary attacking move for Arceus. Stone Edge is used to 1HKO Ho-oh and is helpful on some flying types and is what touchs Gira-O.

Giratina-Origin @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 40 HP/ 176 Atk / 252 Def / 40 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Force
- Defog
- Dragon Tail
- Shadow Sneak

This pokemon is the pokemon that is the defogger and is the answer to some common threats in the Ubers metagame. It is immune to ground allow it to switch in on Primal Groudon. Immune to Normal so opposing Normal Cores can't sweep. It can Dragon Tail almost anything that can set up or is attempting to sweep my team. It also has Defog which can help against Toxic Spike Teams and stop the minimal work a Dexoys-S did at the beginning of a battle.

Massive Threats: Here are a list of threats that tend to bother my team.
Ferrothorn
Skarmory
Rocky Helmet Yveltal/Foul Play variant
Mega Salamence

Conclusion:
Alright so in conclusion I want ideas on how to make this team better. Things I am looking for are ways to defeat common weaknesses to this team without creating too many new ones. Also I want the team to be able to withstand upper ladder while not being messed by unorthodox low ladder sets.

Hi!
I would love to rate your team, but I'd like to see some explanations as to why you chose these Pokemon and what they do, as it really helps find out what we can tweak.
Also, not having text explanations breaks one of the RMT rules (can't remember which one) and some mod is going to come and lock it, which would suck.

I'm also leaving this as a placeholder for a full rate later on.

Hello LeapsFrog !

Unfortunately, this RMT is currently not following the rules which can be found in the RMT Resource Thread; specifically, this thread violates rule #4, because you lack sufficient descriptions for each Pokemon on your team. As such, I am afraid that I will have to lock this thread for the time being. If you would like this thread to be reopened, feel free to PM me with your updated RMT, and I would be happy to reopen this thread for you. If you need help making an RMT up to the required standards, I recommend that you carefully read the RMT Resource Thread and check out other RMTs from the Team Showcase and RMT Archive for some examples.

Good luck with your team, and have a nice day!

EDIT: Reopened!

Alright I am bumping this due to lack of responses. Please give advice, suggestions, or anything that contributes because I don't think I can bump it again.

Since im on mobile I can't do a full rate, but one thing I would suggest is Sleep Talk over Spout on Kyogre. Sleep talk gives you a way to beat Darkrai that isn't foddering, and water spout can really only be used once or twice before it becomes useless (the same can be said for stalk but at least you can do something about rai)
this also frees up Arceus to use LO if you wish. Alternatively you could use CM or TWave on ogre if you're comfortable with Lum as your drai stop

Hi LeapsFrog your team looks decent and is probably one of the best I've seen in a while around here. On paper it looks like a team that can reach 1650-1700 but I think I know what problems you are facing and I will help you fix them.
1)First of all your Pokemon spreads are not optimal. I will give you the importable of your team at the end with the best possible movepools and spreads to improve the team.
2)This team is weak to stall a style popular on high ladder. Sableye walls kanga,EKiller and Giratina hard and Xerneas, ogre,SR Don can in noway break the remaining 5 pokemons you meet on stall.
3)Arceus ghost,Offensive Yveltal,Mega Mence can sweep when Gira is just slightly weakened since it can set up on kanga and Ekiller.
So yeah the main problems you face is struggling vs hard stall and hard HO so I will suggest a couple of things:
1)Your Groudon is fine. You need Dragon tail since you can't afford lati twins coming in so nothing to change.
2)Xerneas is fine but the EV spread is not optimal I will make sure to give you everything at the end.
3)Kangaskhan needs Fake out/Return/Ice punch/Earthquake. Ice punch is really good since first you might freeze Sableye second you can hit Lugia Yveltal etc and third you can 1 shot Salamence who comes in and try to set up on you after dropping your attack. Fake out is important for decent revenge killing sometimes and it puts lots of mons in Return range.
4)Giratina is fine but i would personally run more speed to make sure you outspeed ho oh and hit it or force it out before it burns you.
5)EKiller is fine with Lum berry here since your team struggles vs Darkrai so yeah your set is decent.
6)Kyogre+Xerneas are usually good together since they tend to both overload the checks of the opponent. However I think your team needs offensive Yveltal. First of all offensive Yveltal is really good on the current ladder since a lot of players are neglecting it while building. It also will solve your stall problems with its mixed offensive stats and taunt, It will also make a great core with Giratina and deals great damage to Arceus Ghost.

Lord Outrage, I will be doing a test on how this team fares on ladder but I have some concerns. I have no idea what exactly I am outspeeding. Arceus looks slow. How will this ever be able to set up a Swords Dance. If I ever feel like I get outspeeded constantly I may bump up speed to counteract that. Also Kanga is now taking on a different role it can no longer be the Power Up Puncher it once was and can't Sucker Punch to do damage against faster pokemon.Ice Punch can fake out people. Giratina-O isn't even safe now. Yveltal definately will help because it defeats many of the pokemon that were causing me trouble before such as Lugia and Arceus-Ghost. Hopefully losing Primal-Kyogre for Arceus-Ground isn't too costly.
EDIT: I checked that Arecus is meant outspeed Neutral Rayquaza... But what about the Base 100s and Jolly?

You don't need that man, this arceus is meant to clean late game with its bulk.you don't need speed to set up you need bulk.also you have 4 pokemons with priorities,2 being extremely powerful if not 3 actually since fake out is deadly, what exatly do you need to outspeed even.

Great news I have finally reached my goal of Indigo Plateau. I managed to go 40-10 which my alt ironically said. It reached 88GXE and 1579 ELO. I did it using Lord Outrage's team and it worked well. I did however run 124 Speed on Arceus because I really wanted to be able to outspeed Jolly Ho-oh by having 307 speed. It worked out well because I was always sure of what to click when a Ho-oh was against my Arceus. My team was still weaker against stall teams but Yveltal was the big force that helped me in those battles. Keeping alive Yveltal became cruical to being able to win and did much more than Primal Kyogre did. Yveltal was the stall-breaker the team needed. Now my Ubers goals are about becoming the best and being able to create more viable teams like this one.
I unfortantely have to go to bed soon so I won't be able to update the RMT with the team I reached these goals with till tomorrow. I will be continuing progress with this team to see if it can become even stronger.
