Introduction

This bulky offensive team was inspired by The Turtlelord with the Mawile / Kyurem core as the offensive core. The defensive core in this team is Chansey / Landorus, and the other 2 as support mons. The idea of this team is for Kyurem-B to take apart the walls that Mawile cannot touch, allowing mawile to sweep late game.

Team-building Process

kyurem-black.gif

Kyurem has always had a place in my heart as a stallbreaker, and with Mawile, almost nothing can take these two together. Kyurem cripples all the walls that Mawile can't take care of (Venusaur, Skarmory, Landorus-Therian, Zapdos, etc.) so that Mega-Mawile can just come in after everything is weakened and KO everything.

Chansey and Landorus-Therian can absorb hits very easily. Landorus-Therian easily helps Mawile and Kyurem deal damage by setting up rocks, making switches more difficult. Chansey can Wishpass and Heal Bell the burns that will cripple the team otherwise and Seismic toss does a decent amount of damage making chansey not total taunt bait.

Latios is mainly for defogging, but a life orb boosted Draco meteor is no joke. Latios has very good offences, just enough speed to outspeed all the common OU dragons that arent scarfed (Dragonite, Mega-Charizard X, Garchomp, Haxorus, etc.) and speed ties with Latias.

Most people when they see Aegislash will think possibly a swords dance set, maybe mixed, or even specially offensive. Toxic on this set however always throws people off, but it works. This team is pretty bulky but so far has 0 status moves, which is why Toxic Aegislash is necessary.

- Sucker Punch
- Rough Play

Most people will see this set and say what? Subpunch Mawile? Though I acknowledge that Swords Dance is more viable, I still prefer subpunch. Mawile is amazing this gen because of its mega, with Huge Power boosting it immensely. Focus Punch from Mawile is like a nuke, it will destroy almost everything in its path. Focus Punch can even 2KO Skarmory! Rough Play is in general better than Iron Head in my opinion at least but Iron Head I guess is usable too, it's just in general a very strong S.T.A.B. Substitute is to allow Focus Punch and it also allows to take a few hits. Sucker Punch is for priority because Mawile is slow but it needs quite a bit of predicting.

Kyurem-Black is probably the best stall-breaker in my opinion in OU. Though most Kyurem-Black users would run a physical set, I believe Substitute Mixed set is the best set. The EVs are mainly so its HP is exactly 404, just barely surviving Seismic Toss in a Substitute. Ice Beam and Earth Power 2KOs a lot of threats such as Skarm or Rotom-Wash. The most important thing about Kyurem is Teravolt, so he completely walls Rotom-Wash.

- Seismic Toss

Even though normal is still a bad type, Chansey is just as good as every because it can wishpass and heal status. Oh boy do people get angry over this pokemon, it's basically my fuck you to mixed Special Attackers that take out Landorus-Therian. Chansey isn't for statusing on my team like most are but Soft-Boiled and Wish allow amazing support because its the only form of recovery on my whole team. Heal Bell heals all status on the team which is insanely useful if someone spams status.

- U-Turn

Landorus-Therian is one of my favourite physical walls. Stealth Rock prevents switches over and over. Earthquake is a pretty powerful STAB and U-Turn allows switches. Stone Edge has a great offensive typing. 88 Speed allows Landorus-Therian to outspeed max speed Bisharp and the rest is just dumped into physical bulk. Intimidate just makes Lando's physical bulk even superior and the best U-Turner in OU.

- Psyshock
- Defog
- Roost

Latios is mainly here for defog, but Latios has amazing offensive stats. A possible alternative for one of these moves could be Earthquake so Latios isn't walled by Heatran. Latias can also possibly replace Latios, because of its better bulk. Psyshock and Draco Meteor are just powerful STAB moves that deal impressive amounts of damage. Defog is to remove hazards and screens and roost is to heal.

- King's Shield

- Substitute
- Toxic
- Shadow Ball

The most common sets for Aegislash are Swords Dance and CRUMBLER/Mixed, but I believe Toxicstall Aegislash is the best for this team. Aegislash has very strong bulk in shield form which is why it is so good with bulk. Toxic is the only status on this team which is one of the reasons its so important. King's Shield is self explanatory and Shadow Ball is just a powerful STAB.

I really don't understand the sub toxic set on aegislash, in this team. U are aggressive, the only mon that u cannot okho is ferrothorn... but in this case toxic is useless. And the evs spread is wrong:

CRUMBLER (Aegislash) (M)
leftovers.png
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spd / 0 Atk
- King's Shield
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Shadow Ball

Your IVs spread is for the wallbreaker set. U don't have sacred sword, so u don'give a fuck of outspeeding max Sdef Ttar.

U are using the blissey's EVs spread on chansey:

Pink Blob(Chansey) (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
IVs: 0 Atk
- Heal Bell
- Soft-Boiled
- Wish
- Seismic Toss

U maximize the bonus from eviolite in this way. Chansey has a lot of HP.

Probably, earthquake is a better choice over roost. U can even do some damage on Ttar:

Aqua Jet (Latios) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 20 Atk / 236 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Earthquake

This team is aggressive, latias is useless because u have chansey.

Nice team, even if some choice are too original

I might choose Crumbler set > Toxic stall but i completely disagree with the other 2 suggestions. Latios really needs the recovery because it will be defogging more than once and 252 HP in chansey is important for wishpassing. I also do give a fuck about outspeeding Adamant Azumarill when its weakened, usually after a belly drum because waterfall ohkos

So we've already discussed this some, but here are my thoughts all written down.

This is a really cool team, but the big issue as it stands now is having hell with mega pinsir. To fix this, my first thought was zapdos > latios, but this opens you up to keldeo, so the final thing i came up with was rhyperior > lando-t. This still beats talonflame, and gives you a pinsir counter, without opening you up to anything new (excadrill is a bit of a bitch but chansey can actually take eqs relatively well
252+ Atk Mold Breaker Excadrill Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 246-289 (34.9 - 41%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock)
Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Ice Punch
The only other thing i would change is switching mawile to sd, as this gives you better ability to clean relatively lategame (run knock off > focus punch and sd > sub)

Lol okay, use a useless aegislash for killng adamant azumarill, have fun passing wish with 354 HP instead of 321 HP. And have fun using a latias set on latios, when u wrote that earthquake was an option.

Why u do a RMT?
I do a RMT to get opinions and use the ones I like and if you are not willing to accept that you can simply stop posting. also Earthquake was an option for replacing psyshock/dmeteor and if youre just going to post shit like that, dont. also
Remedy: Hello.
From now on, every single PC++ I see from you on a RMT thread will be infracted.
Start expressing yourself correctly, or remain quiet.
"Liquid oze on cruel.
Weakness policy on nite.
Even with sludge bomb, megavenu can't do nothing against fairys"
^this is really far from being a decent rate.

Thanks, have a nice day.

lol this says something

Quick note about K.Black, you're going to want to have an odd HP number (405) so 56 Evs in Hp. It allows you to take an extra stealth rock switch in without dying.

Kyurem-Black
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 56 HP / 236 SAtk / 216 Spd
Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Bolt
- Substitute

You may also want to consider speed creeping with Mega Mawile. I personally run a spread of 176 HP/ 236 Atk/ 96 Spe out speeding 4 Speed EV T-tar and slower will-o-wispers, Jellicent, Trevenant. As well as non-creeping unassuming Azumarills. Mawile never fails to hit hard even with the slight loss in Attack EVs.

I run the exact same Offensive core. And even have Latias on the team as well.
Good Luck and Have Fun! :)

EDIT: There's a mountain of stats on page 8 in the Mawile thread. Very very helpful.
