PU Bombirdier

Bombirdier @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Big Pecks
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Brave Bird
- Sucker Punch
- Taunt / Stealth Rock

Watch out for falling rocks! Bombirdier's potent toolkit allows it to serve as both an offensive pivot and supportive teammate and take advantage of Grass- and Ground-type foes like Decidueye, Gastrodon, and Golurk with Knock Off. Sucker Punch lets Bombirdier handle sweepers like Delphox and Toxtricity after some chip damage. Bombirdier can also opt to set Stealth Rock itself, allowing teammates like Gastrodon to run Spikes. Taunt prevents foes like Gligar from setting entry hazards and blocks setup attempts from Arcanine. Tera Dark strengthens Bombirdier's Dark-type STAB moves, which helps Bombirdier safely revenge kill threats like Toxtricity and removes its Ice- and Electric-type weaknesses. Bombirdier works well with Fairy- and Fighting-types like Calm Mind Florges and Paldean Tauros-W, which appreciate the removal of walls like Galarian Slowbro, and in turn help Bombirdier keep its Heavy-Duty Boots. Bombirdier struggles to break through Electric- and Fairy-types like Bellibolt and Florges, making teammates like Golurk and Salazzle that can threaten them useful.

Watch for falling rocks! Bombirdier's potent toolkit allows it to serve as an offensive pivot, supportive teammate, and wallbreaker (its not a very good wallbreaker imo. Would keep it at just offensive pivot and support mon) all at once. Bombirdier switches in against Grass- and Ground-type foes like Golurk and Decidueye, allowing it to freely use Knock Off. Brave Bird catches 2HKOs on walls like Gastrodon and Wo-Chien, while also hitting Knock Off absorbers like Scrafty and Flamigo hard. Other bulky opponents like Milotic and Altaria struggle to switch in if they lose their Heavy Duty Boots. (this does not really add anything.) Sucker Punch lets Bombirdier handle sweepers like Delphox and Oricorio-Sensu (relatively uncommon Pokemon, mention another sweeper like Toxt or Scyther.) after some chip damage. Taunt prevents foes like Gligar from setting hazards (and prevents setup from Pokemon like K9 / Florges.) , while Bombirdier can also opt to set Stealth Rock itself. Bombirdier works well with setup sweepers like Calm Mind Florges or Scrafty (Scrafty uses Galarbro as bait, mention something else or add another wall that bombird deals with that Scrafty cannot.) , who appreciate the removal of walls like Galarian Slowbro, while in turn helping Bombirdier keep its Heavy Duty Boots. Electric- and Fairy-type foes like Bellibolt and Florges threaten Bombirdier, so try pairing it with powerful wallbreakers like Toxtricity. (I would mention how it just benefits from Pokemon like Golurk and Salaz that use these pokemon bombird brings in as bait to setup themselves.)
(Bombird really hates both Belly and Golurk who it cant knock off reliably as they can spread crippling status to it. Mentioning Pokemon like Golurk and FireBull who threaten these two are good to mention imo.)
quite a bit so not 1/1 yet. implement this so i can recheck

i implemented the qc, sorry for the delay. wasn't sure how to mention the status stuff at the end without repeating the sentence before it again

Watch for falling rocks! Bombirdier's potent toolkit allows it to serve as both an offensive pivot and supportive teammate. Bombirdier switches in against Grass- and Ground-type foes like Golurk and Decidueye, (swap these two around and mention Gastro here too.) allowing it to freely use Knock Off. Brave Bird catches 2HKOs on walls like Gastrodon and Wo-Chien, while also hitting Knock Off absorbers like Scrafty and Flamigo (rly relys on its Scarf hard and doesnt rly want to lose it, make this example something like viriz instead.) hard. Sucker Punch lets Bombirdier handle sweepers like Delphox and non Quick Attack Scyther after some chip damage. Tera Dark especially helps Bombirdier safely revenge kill threats like Toxtricity. (Mention how it boosts Knock / Sucker and gives a valuable neautrality to ice-type attacks. Also this should be moved after the taunt and stealth rock mentions) Taunt prevents foes like Gligar from setting hazards, and block setup attempts from Florges (just clicks Moonblast, mention another Pokemon like Zoro or something like that.) or Arcanine. Bombirdier can also opt to set Stealth Rock itself. (you want to mention how this frees up space to run spikes on teammates like gastro or gligar.) Bombirdier works well with Fairy- and Fighting-types like Calm Mind Florges or Flamigo, who appreciate the removal of walls like Galarian Slowbro, and in turn help Bombirdier keep its Heavy-Duty (add a hyphen) Boots. Bombirdier struggles to break through Electric- and Fairy-types like Bellibolt and Scream Tail (bad example cause Boomburst, mention Florges here instead.), which invites teammates like Golurk or Salazzle take advantage of these passive foes.
Still not 1/1 yet since theres still quite a few issues. please implement this so i can recheck

luser It's been more than 48 hours since the check above is posted (and without any update to staff); please implement it asap, especially since it goes out early on the first week of August

Watch for falling rocks! Bombirdier's potent toolkit allows it to serve as both an offensive pivot and supportive teammate. Bombirdier switches in against Grass- and Ground-type foes like Decidueye, Gastrodon, and Golurk, allowing it to freely use Knock Off. (you can mention in the opener that it can come in easily on Deci, Gastro, and Lurk, but Knock Off does not need a line of its own.) Brave Bird catches 2HKOs on walls like Gastrodon and Wo-Chien, while also hitting Knock Off absorbers like Scrafty and Virizion hard. (Self explanitory.) Sucker Punch lets Bombirdier handle sweepers like Delphox and non-Quick Attack Scyther (Dont rly like this example cause SD Scyther mostly runs QA nowdays anyways and isnt particularly common if you are not me, something like Toxtricity is probably a more relavent example.) after some chip damage. Bombirdier can also opt to set Stealth Rock itself, allowing teammates like Gligar to run Spikes. Tera Dark strengthens Knock Off and Sucker punch, which helps Bombirdier safely revenge kill threats like Toxtricity. Defensively, it allows Bombirdier to stay in against Ice-type moves from foes like Alolan Sandslash. (This should be after the taunt line.) Taunt prevents foes like Gligar from setting hazards, and block setup attempts from Zoroark (this is faster than you. Mention something like Minior instead.) or Arcanine. Tera Dark strengthens Bombirdier's Dark-type STAB moves, which helps Bombirdier safely revenge kill threats like Toxtricity, while also removing it's Ice- and Electric-type weaknesses. (reworded this to make it more consise) Bombirdier works well with Fairy- and Fighting-types like Calm Mind Florges or Flamigo (Dont like this example if you are going to make it be an example of a knock absorber. Mention Paldean Tauros-W instead.) , who appreciate the removal of walls like Galarian Slowbro, and in turn help Bombirdier keep its Heavy-Duty Boots. Bombirdier struggles to break through Electric- and Fairy-types like Bellibolt and Florges, which invites teammates like Golurk or Salazzle take advantage of these passive foes. (this is kinda reworded awkwardly. Just say something along the lines of "making teammates like Golurk and Salazzle good partners to threaten these two.")
finally, 1/1 after implementation.
