[SET COMMENTS]
With Heavy-Duty Boots, Chandelure can check Pokemon such as Sylveon and Cobalion better by preventing it from taking chip damage from entry hazards. Toxic cripples Pokemon such as Incineroar, Milotic, and Mantine that would otherwise check Chandelure and allows it to break past them with Hex. Protect pairs excellently with Toxic, allowing Chandelure to wear down badly poisoned foes and scout the likes of Choice item users such as Darmanitan and Flygon. Calm Mind is an option over Protect to break through Pokemon such as Heal Bell Sylveon more easily, though it comes at the cost of the utility that Protect provides. Taunt can also be used to prevent foes like Arcanine from afflicting it with status, or using a recovery move. Flame Body can be used over Flash Fire to check Pokemon such as Cobalion and Swords Dance Lucario better while having the bonus of being able to punish foes such as U-turn Noivern and Escavalier with a potential burn; however, Flash Fire pressures Pokemon such as Choice-locked Darmanitan from using Fire-type moves.

Despite being vulnerable to Toxic, Incineroar is a major issue for Chandelure, as it can switch in with ease and threaten Chandelure out with Knock Off. Teammates who can check Incineroar such as Rhyperior and Cobalion are vital to have. In addition, both can provide Stealth Rock support to help Chandelure break through Pokemon vulnerable to entry hazards such as Milotic. Bulky Water-types are one of the main types of foes that this set lures, as they would otherwise switch into Chandelure with ease. Due to this, teammates that appreciate these Pokemon being eliminated such as Escavalier and Cobalion are good options. Escavalier can also Knock Off Incineroar's Heavy-Duty Boots, making it more vulnerable to entry hazard support. Galarian Weezing is an excellent teammate for its ability to set Toxic Spikes and check Dark-types such as Incineroar. In exchange, Chandelure can wear down Water-types that give Galarian Weezing trouble and check Steel-types such as Cobalion. Roserade appreciates Chandelure checking Steel-types such as Copperajah and Bronzong and can provide Spikes support while checking Water-types in return. Choice Scarf Flygon can deal with Gigalith and Rhyperior for Chandelure and bring it in against Galarian Weezing and Sylveon. In exchange, Chandelure can deal with Sylveon, Galarian Weezing, and Bronzong for Flygon. Reuniclus, particularly with Acid Armor, appreciates Incineroar being poisoned by Toxic to sweep late-game.

When equipped with Heavy-Duty Boots, Chandelure is able to switch into Pokemon such as cleric Sylveon and Galarian Weezing without taking chip from entry hazards mention cobalion here, it's a big one. Hex allows Chandelure to break past bulky Pokemon such as Milotic and Mantine in conjunction with Toxic. Toxic cripples Pokemon such as Incineroar, Milotic, and Mantine that would otherwise come in on Chandelure with little punishment idk about "little punishment" particularly in incin's case, specs overheat does upwards of 40%. i'd just say "that would otherwise check it", which also emphasises why you'd use this set > any others a little better., and allows it to break them with Hex. Protect pairs excellently with Toxic, allowing Chandelure to wear down badly poisoned foes and scout the likes of Choiced Darmanitan and Flygon. Shadow Ball is an option over Hex to provide more initial power without status, but is overall less useful, as Chandelure has a harder time breaking without the increased power against badly poisoned foes. shadow ball is so weak that it's not even worth a mention. instead, mention CM over protect and talk about its benefits in breaking through pokemon such as heal bell sylveon a little easier, though it comes at the cost of less defensive utility

potentially mention flame body and its uses, like giving it an easier time checking cobalion/lucario and allows it to potentially punish things like uturn noiv or escav with a burn

Despite being vulnerable to Toxic, Incineroar is a major issue for Chandelure, as it can switch in with ease and threaten it out with Knock Off. Teammates who can check Incineroar such as Rhyperior and Cobalion are vital to have. they also set rocks which is p nice for this set, gives it a much easier time breaking through waters + it makes it so incin is no longer a check to you if it's knocked Bulky Water-types are one of the main Pokemon that this set lures, as they would otherwise switch into Chandelure with ease. Due to this, teammates who appreciate these Pokemon being eliminated such as Escavalier and Cobalion are good options. Cobalion can also provide Stealth Rock support to help Chandelure break through Pokemon vulnerable to entry hazards such as Milotic, while Escavalier can Knock Off Incineroar's Heavy-Duty Boots, making it more vulnerable to entry hazard support. move the rocks coba bit up to the rhyp/coba mention Galarian Weezing is an excellent teammate for its ability to set Toxic Spikes and check Dark-types such as Incineroar. In exchange, Chandelure can wear down Water-types that give Galarian Weezing trouble and check Steel-types such as Escavalier.

mention rose as a teammate that appreciates chandy checking steels and can give it spikes/tspikes support. it can also help to improve a team's bulky water matchup since chandelure isn't reliable at doing it on its own.
mention scarf flygon as something that can help deal with threats to this set like gigalith, rhyperior and all the fat waters previously mentioned. in return, talk abt how chandy deals with sylveon, weezing and bronzong for it.

[SET COMMENTS]

I'd like to see some comment on what this set's particular role is, ie. trading some power to break through checks better.

When equipped with Heavy-Duty Boots, Chandelure is able to switch into Pokemon such as cleric Sylveon and Galarian Weezing without taking chip from entry hazards mention cobalion here, it's a big one. make sure to specify non Stone Edge though. Shadow Ball is an option over Hex to provide more initial power without status, but is overall less useful, as Chandelure has a harder time breaking without the increased power against badly poisoned foes. shadow ball is so weak that it's not even worth a mention. instead, mention CM over protect and talk about its benefits in breaking through pokemon such as heal bell sylveon a little easier, though it comes at the cost of less defensive utility likewise i'd consider mentioning Taunt here for doing the same sort of thing.

potentially mention flame body and its uses, like giving it an easier time checking cobalion/lucario and allows it to potentially punish things like uturn noiv or escav with a burn Make sure to also comment on why you'd use Flash Fire when you do this.

bring up some stuff that likes incin being toxic'd too, like acid armour reuni, which also provides a nice late game win con.

When equipped with Heavy-Duty Boots, Chandelure is able to switch into Pokemon such as cleric Sylveon, non-Stone Edge Cobalion, and Galarian Weezing without taking chip from entry hazards. Reword this to say boots prevent it from taking chip from hazards so that it can check Pokemon like Sylveon and Cobalion better. This set also trades the power of Choice Specs and the speed that Choice Scarf provides to break through checks such as Milotic and Incineroar better. Don't reference its other sets and this is also just filler if you aren't going to explain how it breaks through them better. Hex allows Chandelure to break past bulky Pokemon such as Milotic and Mantine in conjunction with Toxic. You literally repeat this in the next line Toxic cripples Pokemon such as Incineroar, Milotic, and Mantine that would otherwise check Chandelure, and allows it to break them with Hex. Protect pairs excellently with Toxic, allowing Chandelure to wear down badly poisoned foes and scout the likes of Choiced Darmanitan and Flygon. Calm Mind is an option over Protect to break through Pokemon such as Heal Bell Sylveon easier, though it comes at the cost of the utility that Protect provides. Taunt can also be used to break Pokemon such as Arcanine that may attempt to status Chandelure. prevent foes like Arcanine from inflicting it with status or using their recovery moves. Flame Body can be used over Flash Fire to check Pokemon such as Cobalion and Swords Dance Lucario better, while having the added bonus of being able to punish foes such as U-turn Noivern and Escavalier with a potential burn, however Flash Fire pressures Pokemon such as Choiced Darmanitan from clicking Fire-type moves.

Teammates who can check Incineroar such as Rhyperior and Cobalion are vital to have.
