XY OU Break It if you can (1600+)

So this is a team I built because I wanted to show how effective Zapdos can be in OU. It puts a stop to flying types and takes care of the oh so annoying bulky steels with ease. I found a nice core that could be built around it and went from there. It's a defensive team that weakens their team over time giving one of my sweepers a free switch or a turn to set up. Any help would be appreciated as the people of smogon are a lot smarter than me and can help me make this team even better. So without further ado here's the team.

Zapdos:

This is what I built the team around. It got moved into OU again in gen 6 and I'm so glad It's back. The defensive variant literally hard counters some of the biggest threats in OU such as Mega pinsir, Mega Scizor and it takes care of the very annoying steel types like ferrothorn and skarmory. This thing does wonders defensively, but Its also one of the best defoggers in the tier due to its massive bulk and abilty to heal itself with roost. pressure is also a nice ability for stalling ot low pp moves.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Heat Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Defog

Slowbro:

Slowbro is one of the best physical walls in the game because of it's massive bulk, amazing typing and most of all the amazing ability of regenerator. This thing switches in on so many threats and either spreads status or forces them into a predictable switch. This thing takes a beating every game and usually frustrates my opponent to no end because of how bulky it is.

Bruh (Slowbro) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Thunder Wave
- Slack Off

Gliscor:

What was originally hippowdon is now the same thing with superior typing and recovery. It fixes tons of weaknesses as mentioned in the comments due to it's amazing typing. Its the new rocker to the team and it also has acrobatics to kill breloom which caused me a huge problem before. Thank you so much for the recommendation dEnIsSsS. this thing is also a better check to Char X in my opinion which is really nice.

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 192 Def / 72 Spe
Impish Nature
- Acrobatics
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Roost

Chansey:

I know, I know. Nobody likes to see this thing, but it completes the core exceptionally well. all of my other pokemon are physical walls that have a problem with strong physical attackers. This thing literally stops every special attacker in the game bar keldeo. It's amazing at spreading toxic, and it also acts my cleric to help keep my other defensive mons healthy throught the battle.

BBW (Chansey) @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss

Scizor:
Mega_Scizor-1-.png

I was pondering what to use my mega slot on for a long time, and finally came to the conclusion that Scizor fit the bill perfectly. This thing can switch in on so much of the meta and get off a free SD, or it can safely SD right in somethings face. After their team is weakened this thing can come in and wreak havoc due to its amazing ability and its priority BP which wrecks almost eveything. It also provides my team with knock of support which is great.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Atk / 176 SpD
Impish Nature
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off

Jirachi:

Counter to CM Clefable and all other fairies. the standard Wish/Para Hax set that everyone loves. This thing puts in a lot of work I also put uturn on there to help pass wishes and get a little extra damage in the process. Overall a very good fit on this team. Thanks again dEnIsSsS for the recommendation.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
- Wish
- U-turn

Thank you! I'll definitely try the gliscor set because it looks better in almost every way. However getting rid of the hippowdon gets rid of my rocks, and I'm not sure what to replace the greninja with yet. I was thinking CM Clefable with rocks but I'm not sure

Hey michael haley nice stall team you have here I don't plsy stall too much but I have a few suggestions.

1.I want to suggest that one you change your slowbro set to this one as it allows you to switch into keldeo's hydro pumps which gives you a hard time. I mean keldeo itself gives you problems.
Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Thunder Wave
- Slack Off
- Fire Blast

2.I also want to suggest putting stone edge over toxic on hippowdon. A lot of players expect hippowdon to only carry earthquake as an attacking move and they might bring in a flying typee like talonflame or zard-y. This way you one shot them both due to hippowdon's decent base attack stat. Roar would also work too if you feel you are having problems with setup sweepers. Also if you want it to be physically defensive you should probably carry an Impish Nature

Bertha (Hippowdon) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Def
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
- Stone Edge/Roar Also for some reason it say it has 252 in def and 4 in def change this plz.

3.I agree with dEnIsSsS suggestion try to switch greninja up with spdef gliscor as greninja does not belong on a stall team

4.Maybe you want to carry Defog on scizor over zapdos and make it bulky the bulky scizor variant. I suggest this only because scizor is not weak to rock and zapdos is. This is completely up to you.

Scizor @ Scizorite
Ability: Light Metal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Bullet Punch
- Knock Off

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 244 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Heat Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Roost
- Whirlwind/Toxic
Hope I helped and may this non skarm-chansey core stall team be successful.

Don't worry about Keldeo (apparently idiots with no skill and brain also rate teams) because you have Slowbro and Chansey (you can deal with every single Keldeo set). Scarf Keldeo is weak as fuck btw. Yeah.. I forgot about Stealth Rock, so try Stealth rock over Taunt on the Gliscor set I recommended before. After analyzing your team once again, I can see that you are weak to Calm Mind Clefable, so your last slot can be filled by Taunt Heatran or Jirachi (either Substitute + 3 Attacks or the standard wish set).
Scarf keldeo is weak as hell you are right. I just suggested that he switched slowbro's evs but I think he doesn't even have too because 252 SpA Choice Specs Keldeo Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Slowbro: 161-190 (40.8 - 48.2%) -- 8.2% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery. So disregard my 1st suggestion as specs keldeo shouldn't be a problem for bro unless its one of the rare HP Electric Specs ones.

Excuse you? I'd suggest you back off. I'm pretty experienced in the OU metagame and I know how to rate teams, considering all you do is Baton Pass, which takes no skill. There's no need to be so rude when all I'm trying to do is help.
Although the comment on questioning people's intelligence was a bit uncalled for but lets try not to turn this thread into an argument.
