Crawdaunt @ Choice Band
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Crabhammer
- Aqua Jet
- Crunch

Cobalion @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Volt Switch
- Iron Head
- Close Combat
- Stealth Rock
So Crawdaunt was the first pokemon I thought of when thinking of how to mess with the team since Infernape lacks Mach Punch and Crawdaunt can force most of the members out with its raw power. I decided to pair it with Cobalion since Cobalion can provide Stealth Rock and pivot Crawdaunt in with Volt Switch on Amoonguss or Reuni.

Celebi @ Groundium Z
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Psychic
- Earth Power
- Dazzling Gleam

Kommo-o @ Life Orb
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Close Combat
- Poison Jab

Celebi can switch into anything Amoongus does and set up on it. At +2, it can at worst 2HKO everything on this team. Infernape is the only Pokemon that can reliably revenge kill it, as Ice Fang from M-Aero doesn't come close to a OHKO, and it still can't switch in as an unboosted Psychic easily OHKOes it. Kommo-o can OHKO everything on this team at +1 apart from Amoongus and Reuniclus, and the latter can't OHKO it back unboosted (or even at +1). It can set up on Krookodile, unboosted Infernape and even Mega Aero if it avoids a flinch.

Celebi
+2 252 SpA Celebi Dazzling Gleam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Krookodile: 390-460 (117.8 - 138.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Celebi Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Aerodactyl-Mega: 256-303 (85 - 100.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Tough Claws Aerodactyl-Mega Ice Fang vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Celebi: 192-226 (56.3 - 66.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Celebi Psychic vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Infernape: 324-384 (110.5 - 131%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+2 252 SpA Celebi Tectonic Rage (175 BP) vs. 240 HP / 20 SpD Reuniclus: 355-418 (84.3 - 99.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Kommo-o
-1 252 Atk Life Orb Kommo-o Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Krookodile: 361-429 (109 - 129.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Krookodile Earthquake vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Kommo-o: 126-148 (43.1 - 50.6%) -- 3.9% chance to 2HKO

+1 252 Atk Life Orb Kommo-o Close Combat vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Aerodactyl-Mega: 386-456 (128.2 - 151.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Tough Claws Aerodactyl-Mega Ice Fang vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Kommo-o: 158-188 (54.1 - 64.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Life Orb Kommo-o Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 76 Def Empoleon: 463-549 (124.4 - 147.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Reuniclus @ Fightinium Z
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Recover

Absol-Mega @ Absolite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance
- Superpower

When i saw Krooko having no taunt, i immediatly thought of using reuniclus cause it can hurt a lot the team with a Z fight, having no switch in expect reuniclus itself. Following that reasoning, i wanted a dark type that could heavily pressure Reuniclus but also outspeed Infernape as it's also à threat. I've picked Absol Mega for that reason.
You basicly got to force Reuniclus out and then pressure it with Absol that can hurt every Pokémon in the team, either with an SD or straight Knock-Off. Magic Bounce also helps against Amoonguss Spore. At +2, Absol can sweep the entire team if it got weakened a bit thanks to the lack of Mach punch on Nape.
Will add calcs later on.

Ok I’m doing this.

Swampert @ Choice Band
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Facade

Altaria-Mega @ Altarianite
Ability: Pixilate
Happiness: 0
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Frustration
- Refresh
- Roost

CB Pert is the fucking goat. Literally nothing can switch into a Banded Swampert on this team. Amoonguss is NOT a switch-in due to it being 2HKOed by Earthquake while Reuniclus has a chance to be 2HKOed that’s in your favor. Swampert also has Facade here as a really cool tech since Waterfall/EQ/Ice Punch is all the coverage it needs and judging by all the status on this team, it abuses it nicely in case Empoleon burns it or any other situation. Swampert also checks Mega Aero and Nape to some degree. Mega Altaria abuses all the shit Band Pert bops on this team (Emp and Amoonguss mainly) as it can then set-up and sweep through the almighty DD Refresh. Mega Alt is also double Nape check and also Krook check.

fancy chansey (Blissey) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
- Soft-Boiled
- Heal Bell
- Toxic
- Seismic Toss

Blissey counters Empoleon and Amoonguss and technically Krookodile and Aerodactyl too. Quagsire counters Infernape because it's not using the typical NP set and Reuniclus as well as Aerodactyl and even Toxic Krookodile to some extent because of Heal Bell Blissey. Realistically, you're going to be using a bunch of other walls with this core so something could absorb Spore and set up hazards to punish this team's lack of recovery on several mons. Ultimately, doubt this team would break a typical stall as long as there was a reasonable Reuniclus answer (such as Haze on Quagsire in this case).

Hi. This is my first attempt here. I already apologize for some mistake.

Starmie is OHKO in Krookodile with Scald for not being Choice Scarf, along with Mega Aerodactyl. Infernape is OHKO Psyshock. Reuniclus does nothing against Starmie and suffers with the Signal Beam. Celebi takes care of Amoonguss with Psychic and Empoleon with Z-Earth Power

Suicune @ Leftovers

Muk-Alola @ Assault Vest
Ability: Poison Touch

Adamant Nature
- Pursuit
- Gunk Shot
- Knock Off
- Fire Punch

Vincune has an easy time setting up on every member of the team bar Empoleon and Reuniclus since no SpAtk investment Amoonguss fails to break the Substitute after a Calm Mind and Infernape fails to OHKO Suicune at full HP even after a Swords Dance, Alolan-Muk removes Empoleon's Leftovers and deals a decent amount of damage to it. Alolan-Muk also gets the 2HKO to Reuniclus and sponges every move coming from him

This team was supposed to be around Icium Suicune but that didn't happen so here it is. Prim, the replacement suicune. While this could be specs, work up, echoed voice, or etc etc to add more offensive presence to the team, i went with defensive to be able to better handle threats because of its typing, that an offensive version wouldn't. Next we have Kommo-o, good core with prim, breaker, and rocker of choice. Amoonguss is weird, a good pivot with regen, rocky helmet to deter volt turn, and typing lets it check a lot of things that helps the team. Forms a good defensive backbone with prim. Krookodile, electric immunity, scarfer, pursuit trapper, we all know what krook does. Adds a lot of role compression and support to the team. Crunch over Stone Edge to better hit psychic and ghost types that knock off may not kill. Rotom-Heat is the defogger of choice, a ground immunity, volt switch, and flying check that lets the team deal with threats such as moltres, and togekiss much morre easily. Lastly is Scizor, with SD Buginium-Z which from my testing and playing is an underrated set. It forms a volt turn core with Rotom while giving me a wincon the team desperately needed, along with another dragon check the team needed badly. Priority BP gives the second point of speed control along with Krook.

Good luck, and please remember to submit your cores by Thursday.

Nasty plot infernape naturally deals with a lot of this team once given the opportunity to set up. I chose fightinium-z + focus blast due to needing a way past kommo, buut it also allows you to ohko rotom-H with focus blast at +2. I went for vacuum wave over grass knot in 4th for the krookodile, since you only 2hko primarina with +2 grass knot so ohkoing krook at +2 seemed more important. This infernape set effectively deals with everything but primarina on the team.

Suicune on the other hand may have a slightly harder time setting up a substitute, but it can easily set up on primarina which can't break sub after a calm mind (though it does fear a scald buurn, but a cleric should be on team anyway) , or after a pursuit trap and set up a substitute, it is guaranteed to put work in, with the best option being kommo trying to taunt it, however clanging scales doesn't 2hko even before calm mind, giving plenty of opportunity for suicnue to chip away at it. Since amoongus isn't a variety with SpA ev's to stop suicune, kommo-o and rotom volting into krook foro a knock off is the only danger once a sub is up, and the second method greatly fears a scald on the volt.

Another pokemon I technically have zero checks to. Lucario is another terrifying breaker than can run through my team if I let it set up, especially if it is Nasty Plot. The main thing with this is not much lets it easily set up unless Krook is choice-locked into a Dark type move. So Lucario + a Psychic- or Ghost-type could be very problematic.
Gengar is always a pain and the way this team handles it is with Krookodile and Scizor. Lucario uses them to set up on and get those kills.

Venomoth @ Buginium Z

EVs: 80 HP / 204 SpA / 224 Spe

Starmie @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Psyshock
- Rapid Spin

Sub Venomoth can be pretty annoying as it avoids RKs from Scizor and Krook, baits Rotom into Overheating and dropping its Special Attack, and also abuse Amoonguss while avoiding Clear Smog. It also abuses Prima rather well. The set is just the stallbreaker set with Subs over Sludge Bomb (which also probably would be a fine pick). At worst I believe if played well just a Z-Bug Buzz by itself will end up notoriously weakening or killing something. Using Black Sludge>Buginium Z is also fine.
I've picked colbur Starmie as the second Pokémon because it is a form of hazard control that threatens Kommo-o, it helps checking Scizor, it lures Krook to try to RK it and if it manages to do so Venomoth gets even better chances at sweeping. Starmie is also threatening in general, which is cool.

Volcanion @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

IVs: 0 Atk

EVs: 188 HP / 180 Atk / 72 Def / 68 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Frustration
- Dragon Dance
- Roost
- Heal Bell

Volcanion is the main threat of my core. Sub + 3 attacks is a huge pain to check for the team as there're alsmot no safe switch in but Kommo-o. You can set-up a Sub on a Primarina, Amoonguss, Scizor allowing you to stay safe and hit hard anything that gets send. Primarina can't PP stall it as it gets 2HKO by Sludge Wave. The only RKs the team get are Kommo-o, Krookodile and Rotom-H but those last two get OHKO by Steam Eruption behind the Sub.

Kommo-o being the only Pokémon stopping Volcanion, i've picked Altaria. Altaria pairs well with Volcanion, both can check each other RKs. This Altaria spread was built to outspeed Krookodile at +2 while tanking properly Earthquake. 180 Atk is enought to 2HKO Rotom-H and Healbell helps to cleric possible status on both that can get pretty annoying (specially Toxic).

Bewear @ Choice Band
Ability: Fluffy

Gligar @ Eviolite
Ability: Immunity
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn

CB Bewear is fantastic since he gets the 2HKO on literally every Pokémon in the team, he can also guarantees some juicy OHKOs if rocks are up (like on Primarina, Rotom-H and Kommo-O after Life Orb damage). Gligar is a good switchin to Rotom-H, sets Stealth Rock and U-Turns into Bewear to bring him safely into the battle.

Yo, we're not accepting this submission in its current state; 3 attacks toxic max special attack leftovers volcanion is essentially a lure set that wouldn't be used outside of specifically luring in resttalk prim (which it doesn't do too well), and the description's also pretty inaccurate as well due to it repeatedly referencing Substitute, which isn't on the set at all. For the record, Substitute + 3 attacks leftovers max special attack volcanion also wouldn't be allowed due to the same circumstances.

You're free to edit your post if you can think of a better core or a replacement for Volcanion. Sorry for the inconvenience!
