Blah blah things this team doesnt like fat dark types, it doesnt like a fat dark type. Aka, this hates umbreon. Due to scizor not having a bug move, if it tries to SD, it loses to umbreon. Everything except klefki loses to umbreon. in one way or another. So, then, i added another fat bulky mon honestly this is mainly the team vs umbreon, but slowbro is also annoying as the main check to it is jellicent. If umbreon gets burned it can pretty easily 6-0, so. Yeah. Fat is good

Offensive Rotom Mow hits all the mons on the team hard, only really fearing the potential wing attack from aero and maybe a toxic from klef. Fat Prim is guaranteed to deal with aero well and can handle scizor if Mow dies (which is less likely with reduced knock damage and resisting bp).

Going to vote for Lepus, umbreon really does 6-0
while the team can't handle crawdaunt at all Klefki can t-wave it and go for hax, while umbreon just has to sit there and wall everyone. Umbreon teams most likely have a poison-type like Tenta in the back too so you can't even stall out heal bell PPs.

EDIT: forgot prankster doesn't work on dark-types anymore, im buttcheeks
My point still stands though, as crawdaunt still get forced out or crippled with a scald burn, whereas umbreon just clicks buttons

Klefki can’t t-wave dark types.

I like Lepus but I’ll go with Darksafadao because I love a good offensive core

This team has one of my mon obsessions, the one and only snorlax. This thing is criminally underrated and if not prepared for it easily sweeps teams. Added with that is a variation of the great defensive core in Hippo+Empoleon, but instead of Hippo, it's a sand castle. Palossand rounds out the beginning core by being a fighting immunity and the only terrakion counter, which most snorlax teams struggle with. Palossand also provides rocks and nice role compression due to its typing. Scizor was looking pretty scary for this team, so the next mon added was moltres, one of the best scizor checks in the tier that can fit on almost any playstyle. Even though we already has defog on empoleon, defog was added on moltres due to a member added later. Offensive moltres was decided over defensive to give some much needed pressure on the team to be able to break through defensive pokemon. Next up is Primarina, a fairy type, dark resist, just a nice addition. I decided for the defensive set over specs for the main reason that, It fit better? It helped me checked more things and wasn't so easily chipped. Last but not least, we have Aerodactyl. This team was majorly lacking in the department of speed, and a flying resist. A mega wasn't chosen so Aero fit perfectly on the team. Fast pursuit which is always great, and Wing Attack helps against some of the other major threats to the team. Hadn't built a snorlax team in the current meta and this is how it turned out, and it's been a blast to use.

Get your core submissions in by Thursday, folks, and thanks for participating!

Crawdaunt @ Waterium Z
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Crabhammer
- Knock Off
- Aqua Jet

Manectric-Mega @ Manectite
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Volt Switch

Swords Dance Z Crawdaunt is utterly obnoxious for this team. It OHKOs every member of the team at +2, even Primarina if it unleashes waterium.
+2 252+ Atk Adaptability Crawdaunt Hydro Vortex (180 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Primarina: 354-417 (97.2 - 114.5%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
With that in mind, I just needed a good support to back Crawdaunt up. Manectric is also a pain here, it goads in Palossand or Snorlax most of the time, letting a careful double to Daunt have it setup and begin unleashing hell. (It sets up on Palossand by threatning it out, and it sets up on Lax by virtue of Daunt being able to take it's unboosted hits fairly well.)
0 Atk Snorlax Facade vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Crawdaunt: 94-112 (35.2 - 41.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Manectric itself can also be a massive nuisance, considering that the Palossand spread isn't optimized with spdef (So it will take some good damage from Mane)
252 SpA Manectric-Mega Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Palossand: 170-202 (45.4 - 54%) -- 41.8% chance to 2HKO
252 SpA Manectric-Mega Overheat vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Palossand: 184-217 (49.1 - 58%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO
HP grass into Overheat has a decent chance to outright kill this poor sandcastle if a double to Daunt isn't enticing enough. It continues to be obnoxious due to Aero's lack of earthquake as well, meaning that it struggles to threaten Manectric even if it's not intimidated.
252 Atk Aerodactyl-Mega Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Manectric-Mega: 202-238 (71.8 - 84.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO (This doesn't KO.)
Manectric is a huge nuisance to the team and it more importantly makes great bait for the mons Crawdaunt can setup on. Lax can't do the necessary damage and Palossand isn't going to want to stay in, even for a risk play to stop it from SDing since its the only thing stopping Mane from volt switch spamming and letting Daunt in eventually anyway. This makes this core really effective for beating this team.

Kyurem @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 56 HP / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Roost
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power

Nihilego @ Expert Belt
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Power Gem
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot

First off is SubRoost Kyurem. It's a solid answer to both Palo and Emp, it 2HKOs Moltres with Ice Beam guaranteed, and does 98% min to Aero while taking 90% min from Stone Edge. To compliment is EBelt Nihilego. Grass Knot OHKOs Palo, TBolt has a small chance to 2HKO Emp, you have a decent chance to OHKO Primarina with Sludge Wave, and you easily OHKO both Molt and Aero. That's all before you consider getting a Beast Boost. The biggest problem these two will have is with Lax. At best, a neutral Facade will do 26% max to Kyurem so you can pretty safely sub, but you definitely need to be smart to beat Lax. You can play around with SpDef drops from Earth Power, but he is definitely the hardest to kill here. I came very close to putting Toxic on Kyurem specifically for Lax but it's not part of the typical set.

Terrakion @ Rockium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge

- Rock Polish

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- U-turn
- Pursuit

This is pretty simple, it's just CB Scizor there to pursuit trap Maero and Pablosand, giving terrak opportunities to sweep and just more breathing room in general. Standard sets on both, nothing too brazy.

Darksafadao

best of the second options

Virizion @ Rockium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Slack Off
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

I chose Virizion for this week as it has a pretty good match-up versus this team, mainly at +2, and it can find setups opportunities versus this team. Spdef Hippo helps take on Moltres and helps keeping rocks up and also has a good match up overall.

The team was built around Kommo-o with the goal for Kommo-o to clean after a Dragon Dance. Rotom-H is there to help lure and T-wave Scarf Dragons such as Latias and Hydreigon. Offnesive SD Scizor and Sceptile are there to break down defensive cores pretty well together. And lastly, Empoleon and Gligar round out the team as a fantastic defensive core as well as being my Rocker + Defogger.

Please submit your cores by Thursday, as usual! Thanks for participating, everyone!
