Breeding Problem

I heard these forums were pretty good, so I've decided to drop by and see if I can get any answers.

I recently attained a Ditto with great IVs through a trade. I have a female Jolly Gible, so I decide to give her the Everstone and breed her with the Ditto to get more Jolly Gibles with hopefully good IVs.

The problem: After over 30-40 eggs, I've only gotten one Jolly Gible. Now, I've had people on other forums tell me I'm just unlucky, but at 50% chance, something like that doesn't seem possible.

Does anyone know what's wrong?
 
ever stone trick only works on:

a) male + female(everstone) 50% to pass female's nature
b) ditto(everstone) + male/female => passes the dittos nature
 
So...in other words...

Either
A) Find a male Gible that has great IV's to breed with, or
B) Find a Jolly Ditto with great IV's and give the everstone to the Ditto.
 
You could breed it for say, two stats you want, then breed the offspring with a Jolly Ditto that has the third stat you want.
