Pet Mod Breeding Variants V4 [Slate 8: Creativity Burst 2: Psychic/Fairy Boogaloo] (Submission phase)

:electivire::kingambit:
Name: Electivire-Emperor
Egg Group: Human-like
Stats: 75 HP / 123 Atk / 94 Def / 95 SpA / 85 SpD / 95 Speed
Type: Electric / Steel
New Moves
: Sucker Punch, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Swords Dance
Abilities: Supreme Overlord | Motor Drive
Dex Entry: With a steely armor and a bigger affinity to brute force, the Emperor variant of Electivire commands over both Electabuzz and Elekid by proving it’s strength and endurance.
Competitive Description: Trades away less Attack and Defense for higher Special Attack and Speed compared to Kingambit, this variant of Electivire is able to wallbreak more properly thanks to Supreme Overlord and Swords Dance, making up for mediocre physical Electric-type and Steel-type STAB. It can also go Special or Mixed because of it’s average 95 base Special Attack.

:wugtrio::cloyster:
Name: Wugtrio-Spear
Egg Group: Water 3
Stats: 35 HP / 100 Atk / 115 Def / 50 SpA / 70 SpD / 120 Speed
Type: Water / Ice
New Moves
: Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, Drill Run, Spikes, Toxic Spikes
Abilities: Gooey / Skill Link | Sand Veil
Dex Entry: Their slicky skin is now protected by remnant of a Cloyster’s shell, allowing for better survivability while retaining their fast swimming speed. They also developed a horn that shoots Icicle Spear.
Competitive Description: While it’s bulk is still sorta bad due to it’s atrocious base HP, it at least won’t die to a stray priority move, and this type of Wugtrio have access to Skill Link + Icicle Spear and high Speed, making it a destructive wallbreaker or revenge killer if holding a Choice Band.

:flygon::kleavor:
Name: Flygon-Axe
Egg Group: Bug
Stats: 80 HP / 118 Atk / 80 Def / 80 SpA / 80 SpD / 100 Speed
Type: Dragon / Rock
New Moves
: Stone Axe, Swords Dance, Close Combat, Defog (regarding SV), Morning Sun
Abilities: Levitate | Sheer Force
Dex Entry
: With their claws sharpened and their tail developing an axe-like shape, this variant of Flygon is said to once originated in Hisui in ancient times, indicated by the presence of their fossil found in modern day Sinnoh.
Competitive Description: Sheer Force Dragon Dance attacker, with Rock Slide becoming a more worthwhile STAB and Fire Punch to break through Steel-type that have no issue with Ground coverage. Can also go for mixed with Flamethrower, Earth Power, or Fire Blast instead. Dragon Rush is boosted by Sheer Force, so it can be used as a risky but rewarding Dragon STAB, particularly in this NatDex format thanks to Hone Claws.

:farigiraf::persian-alola:
Name: Farigiraf-Purraffe
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 120 / 90 / 70 / 110 / 70 / 88 (548 BST)
Type:
Dark.png
Psychic.png

New Moves: Dark Pulse, Snarl, Icy Wind, Power Gem, Parting Shot
Abilities: Technician / Armor Tail / Sap Sipper
Dex Entry: This Farigiraf variant may have gorgeous fur, but it has an arrogant and stubborn nature. Its height means it can both physically and mentally look down on everyone.
Competitive: All three abilities have their uses. Technician STAB Twin Beams hits with 160 BP, and it also boosts moves like Snarl and Icy Wind which make Farigiraf-Purraffe an annoying debuffer. Other sets could be Nasty Plot sweeper, Parting Shot bulky pivot, all out attacker its wide coverage, etc.

Decided against giving Fur Coat because base 120 HP, 70 Def, and Wish recovery is too much, even with the typing's notable 4x Bug weakness.

The Mark: Larger with stronger STAB & priority.
Stone Club: Very physically bulky with Eviolite... Snip off Recover.
Survivor's Guilt: A decent sand cleaner; with poison, slightly less effective.
:marowak: :avalugg:
Name: Marowak-Bonechill
Frostbone: There's a missed opportunity with the Avalugg used; regardless, with a Thick Club, it's a menace physically speaking.
:reuniclus: :dragapult:
Name: Reuniclus-Mitosis
Egg Group: Amorphous
Stats: 110/65/75/125/85/86
Type
: Psychic/Dragon

:electivire::kingambit:
Name: Electivire-Emperor
:wugtrio::cloyster:
Name: Wugtrio-Spear
:flygon::kleavor:
Name: Flygon-Axe
Rajin: This does contribute to the surplus of Steel-types, but it can definitely wallbreak better than base Electivire.
Pointy red things: A... good Choice item multi-hitter.
Desert Glaivus: Not so sold on it being mixed, but it's definitely a hit or miss SFLO user.
:farigiraf::persian-alola:
Name: Farigiraf-Purraffe
Grindewald's Quilin: Technician sets make a good utility sweeper.

The voting phase will begin before we get more delays. The veto streak continues with ErrorMon 's Espathra-Flamenco because its issue with Stored Power has not been rectified. Everything else (which is not put in a spoiler folder) is legal to be voted for.

As usual, we vote for up to five submissions, with the topmost (or leftmost if horizontal) counting for two points. The submissions with the top three amount of points after 48 hours will be accepted. And please consider their worth competitively as well.

You may only self-vote for one submission, and self-votes cannot be put as your first choice.

Type:
Ghost.png
Rock.png

New Moves: Salt Cure, Body Press, Earthquake, Stealth Rock
Abilities: Purifying Salt
Dex Entry
: These Doublade look like large stone clubs instead of swords.
:sv/glalie: / :sv/glalie-mega: :sv/manaphy:
Name: Glalie-Seaglass
Egg Group: Fairy (somehow)
Stats: 80/80/80/80/80/90 / 80/120/80/120/80/110
Type: Water
/ Ice
New Moves: Take Heart, Surf, Flip Turn, Hydro Pump, Energy Ball
Abilities: Inner Focus / Ice Body (Hydration) / Refrigerate
Dex Entry: Nobody knows where these rather anomalous forms of Glalie come from. Many only know this Pokemon by word-of-mouth, as their sightings are minimal, if not null. Many assume this is simply a hoax made up by fishermen
Competitive Evaluation: Now, I could be funny and say "just use the mega", but that's rather self-explanatory, so i'll go more in depth:
Glalie-Seaglass brings another offensive Ice, now with the power of setting up and clearing itself of ailments. The small speed increase, while not the most beneficial, is actually pretty good, bringing Mega Glalie and its base 100 speed of terror and demise to higher heights. The Water / Ice typing is.. actually pretty good on paper, and Glalie-Seaglass uses this to its advantage.
Feel free to discuss our winners while Samtendo09 updates the spreadsheet.

Spreadsheet updated, and here’s the total of each type of the current iteration; Ayecrusher warned me about only counting the current iteration as it can make the type count too skewered and unprecise, which I realized as well. The grand total throughout iterations will only be published at the end of the final slate; Mega Evolution of the breeding variants will only have their type counted if it is different from the base form (i.e. Sceptile-Iron).
1747582982606.png

As you can see here, while Rock managed to catch up, it turned out that Psychic and Fairy only have one rep each in V3 + V4. Other than those, the type are surprisngly evened up.

Here are three remaining slates of this iteration to give an idea what’s to expect.
  1. Free-For-All: Self-explanatory. That said, crewting a breeding variant with either Psychic or Fairy Pokémon may help enticing people to vote for yours so long it’s not redundant with the only one of each!
  2. (Not Anymore) Unique Typing: Only type combination from one Pokémon line or two as of S/V. If you struggle to figure what’s make for a combination only used by one or two lines, be sure to ask Ayecrusher or me a question or two.
  3. Final Slate: This one’s both a special and surprise slate, and we only reveal it after the penultimate slate above!
We hope you enjoy the upcoming slates and make for an interesting metagame.

Thank you Samtendo. On that note...

:sv/Pyroar:Slate 8: Creativity Burst 2: electric psychic/fairy boogaloo :SwSh/Pangoro:

No specific theme, main rules apply as usual. Submissions that fills in type deficiencies are highly encouraged. Past losing submissions that had been voted for by at least three people are also available to be resubbed in this slate only, but do reconsider their flaws - and of course, those that are judged to be too weak and/or have elements that are questionable at best and uncompetitive at worst may not be eligible for voting.

Submissions ends at Sunday, seven days from this post.

Type: Psychic / Fairy
New Moves:
Parting Shot, Spirit Break, Play Rough, Darkest Lariat, Trailblaze
Abilities: Pure Power / Prankster
Dex Entry:
A Medicham charged with wicked Ki energy, Medicham-Wickxie do not conform to the classic ways of Medicham. They use brute force instead of skilled attacks to win their fights. Despite the fae energy they utilize to beat down their enemies, they are completely evil at heart.
Competitive Evaluation: Medicham-Wickxie is incentivized to run both of its abilities, depending on the User's situation. With Pure Power letting it steam through teams on webs, and Prankster just to give that little bit of support. Losing Fighting STAB is a bit of a problem, but the widened coverage portfolio helps it in the long run. Seriously. don't underestimate Psychic / Fairy / Fighting coverage.

Dex Entry:
A children's story details an adamant Azumarill and a calm Slowking becoming a near unstoppable force, with the Azumarill's tenacity and Slowking's planning making them incredibly strong. A lost partition of the script would explain how Slowking-Jubilee
Competitive Evaluation:
Psychic / Fairy type 2: its different because the two types are swapped. Slowking-Chunky is able to run 2 very versatile and useful sets, helping it fit upon a lot of teams with its vast Supporting and offensive Movepool.

: This subspecies of Mabosstiff developed in harsh desert regions, where it acts as both guardian and tyrant. Its powerful jaws are capable of crushing sandstone, and it creates deep burrows to patrol its territory from below. When enraged, it triggers localized sandstorms with its snarls. Type: Psychic / Fighting
New Moves: Reflect, Light Screen, Thunderbolt, Sucker Punch, Psychic
Abilities: Technician | Iron Fist
Dex Entry: A variant of Infernape that have a tendency to mimic the action of humans or human-like Pokémon, giving an uncanny feel to those near it. It’s one of the Pokémon that derived the term “Monkey Pokémon see, monkey Pokémon do”.
Competitive Description: Technician oriented Pokémon with priority STAB (Mach Punch or Vacuum Wave), boosted Grass Knot / Low Kick against lighter Pokémon, Flame Wheel into 90 BP making for risk-free but weaker alternative of Raging Fury and Flare Blitz, and can set up Reflect + Light Screen instead thanks to it’s naturally high Speed. Sucker Punch can also help against Ghost-type, as well as faster Pokémon that takes resisted or no damage from Mach Punch.

:centiskorch: + :ribombee:
Name: Centiskorch-Puffy
Egg Group: Bug
Stats: 100 HP / 115 Atk / 65 Def / 90 SpA / 90 SpD / 95 Speed

New Moves
: Pollen Puff, Quiver Dance, Moonblast, Sticky Web, Play Rough
Abilities: Shield Dust / White Smoke | Flame Body
Dex Entry: Centiskroch of Alola have their fiery passion tamed by the Ribombee found in there, with them being covered by fire-proof Pollen Puff. If a predator or poacher attempted to hunt a single Ribombee on Puffy Centiskorch’s sight, that Centiskorch will burn that predator down to protect the Ribombee.
Competitive Description: With increased Speed and nearly unresisted STAB combo, it can go physical with Coil or special with Quiver Dance, and can set up Sticky Web to slow down grounded opponents. It still wants to run Heavy-Duty Boots to avoid Stealth Rock damage and opposing Sticky Web, and it’s damage output aren’t that impressive without setting up.

Name: Pyroar-Liger Bread
Egg Group: Field
Stats: 86/68/94/109/66/106
Type:
Fire.png
Fairy.png

New Moves: Play Rough, Charm, Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, Misty Terrain
Abilities: Rivalry, Unnerve, Aroma Veil
Dex Entry
: It secretes a sweet, confectionery-like substance from its striped fur that's popular for baking. The fragrant smoke it exhales charms and calms prey and enemies alike.
Flavor: Both an homage to the bestiary panther and a visual pun on tiger bread, this variant also bears some design elements from heraldic lions and in general has a sort of birthday cake-like theme; both males and females have smaller manes than Kalosian Pyroar. This breed also has sugary properties to its skin secretions, particularly in its mane which now resembles a great frothy dollop of whipped cream or frosting, along with a striped, birthday candle-like tail to go with the patterns on its orange-brown fur that resemble the crack-like patterning on the crust of tiger bread.
Gameplay Info: Defensively speaking, this ariant is weak to four types (Poison, Ground, Rock, and Water), but makes up for it with seven resistances (Fighting, Fire, Grass, Ice, Dark, Fairy, and Bug) and an immunity to Dragon-type moves. Its double-resistance to Bug means it's a solid answer to U-Turn, and on the offensive front it adds Dazzling Gleam to its STAB options for broader coverage of at least neutral damage. Aroma Veil is a supportive ability but also keeps it safe from Taunt, and combined with its higher physical Defense, this gives it more switch-ins to take advantage of, though care must be taken to keep opponents from capitalizing on its special defense, which is still as awful as with regular Pyroar.

Sub review time! This is only covering new subs unless the resub has been changed significantly.
:SV/medicham: :SV/medicham-mega: :SV/grimmsnarl:
Name: Medicham-Wickxie | Medicham-Wickxie-Mega (wicked + pixie)
Wixie: Base form is a budget Lopunny-Bara with an emphasis on offense. Mega form is very much a no go, what with a Pure Power with a 100 Atk & Speed.
:granbull::pyroar:
Name: Granbull-Pride
Outsiders: Tries to be a physical sweeper. Very much a slighter better take than Flareon by virtue of more coverage..

Name: Primarina-Rusalka

Name: Grumpig-Royal

Name: Donphan-Palmier
:mantine::kilowattrel:
Name: Mantine-Torpedo
:armarouge::hitmonlee:
Name: Armarouge-Firefoot
Vodyanitsa: Technically triple STAB, still walled by Poison.
Zhu Bajie: SFLO special wall.
Great Tusk dough: Budget Great Tusk in terms of stats. Coverage is weak but technically usable.
Non Toxic :Plasmanta: : Utility Zapdos at home.
Flare Dash: Trades away resistances for weaknesses that aren't exactly common in the meta. It's boring, but technically practical as long as it remains on the field.
:Mabosstiff: :hippowdon:
Name: Mabosstiff-Don
:Vikavolt: :Ribombee:
Name: Vikavolt-Gleamwing
Don cane ippopotamo: It's an sand setter who can put in its weight offensively as well.
Glitterbug: Its role is essentially what GF intended to sell Frosmoth as. Quiver Dance puts it slightly over the top, switch it with a different boosting move.
:infernape: + :mr-mime:
Name: Infernape-Mimic
Sun Wukong: A very mixed Technican user.
:sv/Whimsicott: :sv/Serperior:
Name: Whimsicott-Prestige
:sm/Beedrill: :sm/Beedrill-Mega: :sm/Orbeetle:
Name: Beedrill-Classified
King's Cotton: A utility Contrary user who's not able to leverage much of its Contrary boosts.
Assassinate: While I'm not as convinced on the base form's viability has improved, the Mega does get better offensive.
:sv/Pyroar: :sv/Pyroar-f: :sv/Dachsbun:
Name: Pyroar-Liger Bread
Dutch Crunch: I might be biased, but this is a Pyroar with a much improved offensive profile.

:dachsbun: :avalugg-hisui:
Name: Dachsbun-Frozen Pastry [3 vote resub]
Egg Group: Mineral
Stats: 57/104/115/50/80/95
Type: Fairy/Ice
New Moves
: High Horsepower, Ice Spinner, Mountain Gale, Rapid Spin, Recover
Ability: Strong Jaw/Aroma Veil/Well-Baked Body
Dex Entry: While most Dachsbun enjoy cozy places to rest, like in front of fireplaces or ovens, this breed of Dachsbun is often found snoozing in freezers, much to the alarm of their owners.
Justification: Dachsbun's signature ability Well-Baked Body, and Avalugg-Hisui's signature move Mountain Gale
Competitive Potentials: Ice type with Well-Baked Body. Access to Recover gives this Pokemon a lot more longevity.

:togekiss: :manaphy:
Name: Togekiss-Mystic [3 vote resub]
Egg Group: Fairy
Stats: 85/75/95/120/115/80
Type: Fairy/Water
New Moves
: Flip Turn, Ice Beam, Liquidation, Scald, Tail Glow
Ability: Hustle/Serene Grace/Hydration
Dex Entry
: Legends speak of a Togepi lost at sea that got rescued by a sea spirit. The resulting breed of Togekiss are excellent swimmers, often rescuing castaways themselves.
Competitive Potentials: Tail Glow for strong offensive sets. Technically has a niche with Hustle now but I doubt anyone would use it.

There, tow Fairy-types resubs just to put them on the plate. Now I need to figure out how to be creative with other options lol.
