BSS Bro got the wrong Reg J ;-; (AV Incineroar) [GP 1/1]

[SET]
Assault Vest (Incineroar) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Water / Fairy / Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD or 252 HP / 44 Def / 212 SpD
Careful / Sassy / Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Bulldoze / Fake Out

[SET COMMENTS]
* Assault Vest Incineroar functions as a bulky specially defensive pivot, switching into a variety of common threats—most notably Calyrex-S, as Incineroar resists its STAB combination—while using Intimidate to weaken physical attackers, particularly Chien-Pao.

* **Knock Off**: Knock Off is crucial to this set's strength; the move is able to OHKO Calyrex-S, furthering Incineroar's ability to successfully check it, and provide immense value with item removal.

* **Flare Blitz**: Flare Blitz's raw power and STAB make it a powerful option against Chien-Pao, Calyrex-I, and Zacian-C.

* **U-turn**: U-turn is Incineroar's best move, allowing it to chip foes for decent damage while switching out to reset Intimidate and get a powerful partner in.

* **Bulldoze**: Bulldoze can provide decent value in its speed control, enabling Incineroar to slow down foes before pivoting to a powerful and now faster attacker with U-turn.

* **Teammates**: Incineroar fits on a variety of teams but pairs best with Calyrex-S and Flutter Mane, as it can check the Ghost-types that can threaten them, while in return, they can pivot into and threaten the Fighting-types that are particularly problematic for Incineroar, most notably Koraidon.

Other Options
==========

* **Fake Out**: Fake Out does small chip damage to foes for free, notably breaking Focus Sash and Sturdy on the likes of Chien-Pao and Ogerpon-C.

Tera Types
========

* **Tera Dependency - Very Situational**: Incineroar only requires Terastallization in a pinch for difficult type matchups, as its regular typing is crucial to its defensive abilities, particularly handling Calyrex-S, and it can pivot out of bad type matchups with U-turn.

* **Water**: Tera Water allows Incineroar to resist Water-type attacks, notably Surging Strikes from Urshifu-R, while giving it a generally strong defensive typing.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy provides a resistance to Fighting-type attacks like Close Combat from Koraidon, as well as an immunity to Draco Meteor from Miraidon.

* **Fire**: Tera Fire bolsters Incineroar's damage output, allowing it to potentially OHKO Calyrex-S and Calyrex-I, while dropping its Fighting-type weakness.

EV Spreads
========
* **252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def with Careful or Sassy**: This spread maximizes Incineroar's special bulk to allow it to answer opposing threats much better, particularly letting it survive Electro Drift from Modest Tera Electric Choice Specs Miraidon the majority of the time. A Careful nature allows Incineroar to outspeed important threats in Speed-invested Ursaluna-B and Calyrex-I, while a Sassy nature allows it to pivot more slowly in mirror matches.

* **252 HP / 212 Atk / 44 SpD with Adamant**: This more offensive spread allows Incineroar to have a much greater offensive presence, notably OHKOing Flutter Mane and 2HKOing Calyrex-I with Flare Blitz, while still enabling it to take a Tera Blast Fighting from Choice Specs Calyrex-S.

most of this looks fine content-wise

I would recommend following the formatting of this post to be more in line with how BSS analyses are done. After that I’ll go over this again!

The old set style doesn’t need to be changed, but the comments and stuff is what I would like for you to look at

ready for recheck

Few things
1 - firstly, just because two moves are slashed doesn’t mean they have to be compared to each other in a bullet point. I think it would be more appropriate to add a Fake Out bullet point in other options.

2 - U-turn should not have T capitalized, this is more a GP thing but it’s good to know in general.

3 - * **Teammates** Incineroar fits on a variety of teams, but pairs best with Calyrex-S and Flutter Mane, as it can wall the Ghost-Types that can threaten them, whilst in turn they can pivot into and threaten the Fighting-Types that are particularly problematic for Incineroar, most notably Koraidon.

This would fit better in the general “set comments” area, not tucked away down in the Tera type discussion that it has pretty much no association with.

4 - * **252 HP / 212 Atk / 44 SpDef with Adamant** In contrast, the 212+ Atk EV Spread allows for Incineroar to have a much greater offensive presence, notably OHKOing Flutter Mane and 2HKOing Calyrex-I with Flare Blitz, whilst still being able to take a Tera Fighting Tera Blast from Choice Specs Calyrex-S.

Generally we try not to preface a bullet point by comparing to another bullet point. It’s fine to compare in the meat of the explanation, but saying something else sucks as “this more offensive spread” would probably work better as an opening blurb.

Some general housekeeping
- X-type only has the type itself capitalized
(Fighting-type, Fairy-type, etc.)

- The formatting is technically correct (it will be uploaded to the dex no problem) but I personally find it easier to write and read when the bullets are spaced by an empty line, this just makes it easier to see where a point starts and ends for reading and editing purposes.

Let me know when these are implemented and I’ll check again!

ready for rerecheck

as it can wall check the Ghost-types that can threaten them

minor change but it’s important as incineroar cant wall them in the traditional sense, as if given long enough they will be able to break it since it has no form of recovery

this looks good to me now, APPROVED!
