[SET COMMENTS]

Though lacking in early-game utility compared to other bulky setup sweepers like Galarian Slowbro and Florges, Bronzong possesses unique defensive qualities that still make it a potent mid- or late-game force. Bronzong can readily exploit defensive Ground-types like Gastrodon and non-Knock Off Gligar and is hardly bothered by chip damage from entry hazards thanks to Levitate, and its bulk and typing grant it opportunities to switch in and set up on threats like Duraludon and Venusaur. Bronzong is also immune to Toxic and Clear Smog, which, in tandem with Levitate and the threat of Stored Power, means balance teams cannot rely solely on passive play to defeat it. Body Press nails Dark- and Steel-types like Scrafty, Bombirdier, and Copperajah and specially bulky foes like Gastrodon and Goodra. With enough boosts, Stored Power plows through walls like Galarian Slowbro and Tera Poison Wo-Chien and can overwhelm opposing setup sweepers like Dudunsparce. It also hits Ghost-types like Decidueye and Houndstone, which would otherwise force Bronzong out. Tera Water lets Bronzong shrug off Fire- and Water-type attacks from the likes of Arcanine, Paldean Tauros-W, and Tatsugiri and set up on them. Tera Electric gives Bronzong no weaknesses because of Levitate and eases the matchup against foes like Pawmot. Note that Bronzong loses its Toxic immunity after Terastallizing, which hampers its ability to set up against walls like Bellibolt and Gligar and may prevent it from sweeping. As such, Bronzong should mainly Terastallize if it's ready to sweep or it absolutely needs to trade with a threat like Skuntank. 20 Speed EVs allow Bronzong to outrun Mudsdale, Palossand, and Naclstack.

Bronzong fits on balance teams in need of a sturdy wincon that can potentially serve as a secondary wall. Dark- and Ghost-types like Skuntank, Golurk, and Hoopa are the biggest threats to Bronzong and it cannot comfortably set up until they are removed or heavily weakened. Fighting- and Dark-types like Flamigo, Scrafty, and Wo-Chien work well towards this end, with the former two immediately breaking through Steel- and Rock-types like Copperajah and Coalossal and the latter two offering backup against Psychic-types like Meloetta. If need be, all three examples can absorb Knock Off for Bronzong so it can stay healthy until it's ready to set up. As Bronzong lacks recovery and aims to either sweep or force progress, it helps to pair it with more robust special walls like Florges, Gastrodon, and Milotic. Florges can bolster Bronzong's longevity with Wish, while Gastrodon and Milotic can stand up to Fire-types like Salazzle, Rotom-H, and Arcanine. Gastrodon's presence may also cause the opponent to expect that Bronzong will set Stealth Rock, whereas Milotic can use Flip Turn to get Bronzong in safely against weaker foes like Kilowattrel. Bronzong often falters against phazers like Mudsdale, Milotic, and Houndstone due to its low initial firepower, so it benefits from having teammates that can take advantage of them. Wallbreakers like Decidueye, Golurk, and Toxtricity put immense pressure on these Pokemon and match up better versus sturdier foes Bronzong may struggle with, such as Assault Vest Galarian Slowbro and Scream Tail. In return, Bronzong can turn potential revenge killers like Staraptor and Goodra into setup fodder and, after boosting, potentially trade with Dark- and Rock-types like Skuntank and Coalossal. Stronger setup sweepers like Scrafty and Rotom-H can also help overload phazers early-game, further supporting Bronzong by absorbing Trick from foes like Rotom-C in matchups where it's more likely to win. Bronzong can similarly set the stage for these Pokemon by doing the same if it's less likely to win.

Though lacking in early-game utility compared to other bulky setup sweepers like Galarian Slowbro and Florges, Bronzong possesses unique defensive qualities that still make it a potent mid- or late-game force. Bronzong is hardly bothered by defensive Ground-types like Gastrodon and non-Knock Off Gligar or chip damage from entry hazards thanks to Levitate (i would mention how it allows it to use these two as bait to get going), and its bulk and typing grant it opportunities to switch in and set up on threats like Meloetta (I kinda dont like this example because sball still does a bit to zong / can pivot. I would rather mention something like kilo / non dtail goodra instead.) and Duraludon. Tera Water lets Bronzong shrug off Fire- and Water-type attacks from the likes of Arcanine, Paldean Tauros-W, and Tatsugiri. (i would mention how this allows it to use the former two as setup bait which is kinda massive) Tera Electric gives Bronzong no weaknesses because of Levitate and eases the matchup against foes like Pawmot. 20 Speed EVs allow Bronzong to outrun Mudsdale, Palossand, and Naclstack. (I would mention the major downside to both tera types; you lose your immunity to toxic, which allows balance staples like gligar, belly, non av galarbro, etc to toxic you and prevent a sweep.)

Bronzong fits on bulky offense and balance teams in need of a sturdy wincon that can potentially serve as a secondary wall. Dark- and Ghost-types like Skuntank, Golurk, and Hoopa are the biggest threats to Bronzong and it cannot comfortably set up until they are removed or heavily weakened. Fighting- and Dark-types like Flamigo, Scrafty, and Wo-Chien work well towards this end, with the former two also breaking through Steel- and Rock-types like Copperajah and Coalossal and the latter two offering backup against Psychic-types like Meloetta. (mentioning how these three absorb knock probably wants to be added here too, especially because zongs only form of recovery is its lefties.) As Bronzong lacks recovery and aims to either sweep or force progress, it helps to pair it with more robust special walls like Florges, Gastrodon, and Milotic. Florges can bolster Bronzong's longevity with Wish, while Gastrodon and Milotic can stand up to Fire-types like Salazzle, Rotom-H, and Arcanine. (I would mention for Milos section that if it opts to run Flip Turn, it can be a nice slow pivot to get zong into things it can setup against and fuck up, like Alolaslash or whatever.) Bronzong often falters against phazers like Mudsdale, Milotic, and Houndstone due to its low initial firepower, so it benefits from having teammates that can take advantage of them. Wallbreakers like Decidueye, Golurk, and Toxtricity put immense pressure on these Pokemon and match up better versus sturdier foes Bronzong may struggle with, such as Assault Vest Galarian Slowbro and Scream Tail. In return, Bronzong can turn potential revenge killers like Staraptor and Goodra into setup fodder. Stronger setup sweepers like Scrafty and Rotom-H can also help overload phazers, with Bronzong setting the stage for them by absorbing Trick from users like Rotom-C in matchups where it isn't as likely to win. (mentioning how these two OR bronzong can start chipping away at their shared checks like mudsdale in order to setup the other to win probably should be mentioned here imo.)
