Hey guys just made this team and wanted it evaluating so any feedback is good but if you do have to criticse please tell me what i can do to change things.

So the idea is let Bronzong set up his screens/rocks to bring in breloom or whoever is best suited. This has worked well so far and has enabled me to move higher up in the rankings.

Individual Analysis

(Bronzong) @ Light Clay Trait: Heatproof
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball

You may be wondering why i am using heatproof The answer is that everyone expects levitate so much so that they switch into a fire type and proceed to attack at this point i have my lightscreen up so when they did attack with a fire move and do very little they will be shocked at how little it really does a friend of mine was helping me test and a max special attack heatrans lavaplume did 7% damage. Which is unbelivable in my opinion. Stealth rock is the best move in the game and the gyro ball is incase i get Taunted which does happen occasionally.

(Breloom) (M) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Seed Bomb

I wanted to make a team based around this guy. I have being playing a Shroomish only run on emerald and it Accidently evolved into breloom at the third gym. But i carried on and now he has become one of my favourite pokemon in the game i used to hate him alot. For me he was worse than when you see a politoed in thier line up and automatically think NOOB. Ive tried different sets natures evs and abilitys but this standard boring old set is the best for me protected by the screens and his weaknesses covered he can normally get through 2-3 pokemon what a great pokemon.

Breloom <3

(Dusclops) (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Seismic Toss
- Rest
- Shadow Sneak
- Disable

Dusknoir was a favourite of mine back in fourth gen i loved his sheer bulk and how he could take a both a physical hit and a special one too but now he is bannished to RU because of the eviolite but hey im not complaining in fact im very very happy this set is the run i used in 4th gen and it works well i can disable there main moves whilst knocking 100hp every turn and when they get close to getting rid i can just rest up the shadow sneak is purley for ghost types as i would be forced to switch out otherwise. with the eviolite he reaches an amazing 571 defence and 538 special defense. it takes alot to take him down and when you get close he will just rest back up again an absolute beast.

(Tentacruel) (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP / 240 SDef / 16 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Toxic Spikes
- Hex
- Scald
- Rapid Spin

A good partner for dusclops is tentacruel. There is no point in will-o-wisp on dusclops with the Toxic spikes down. plus dusclops covers his weaknesses and acts as a rapid spin blocker. scald is the standard stab for after setup whith a chance to put even more status on the opposing team. Hex works well when the opposite team are affecting by status an hits rapid spin blockers too. Liquid Ooze is the best ability he gets and means that he can come in on a drain punch and it hurting rather than helping. A great pokemon and covers the ice beams for breloom and latios.

485.png

(Heatran) (M) @ Air Balloon Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Protect
- Fire Blast
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Grass]

Another favourite of mine from 4th gen but luckily he is still a good pokemon to use in OU. This is brelooms main switchout as he can get a flashfire boost and wreck teams in the process. The protect is for scouting and helps me plan my next move. Fire blast doesnt always hit but it is to ensure that the flash fire boost is decent enough to kill the pokemon it came from. Earth power is another must as it hits alot of pokemon and hidden power grass is for the waters that expect me to switch out to tentacrual giving them a big grassy slap in the face. The shucca berry is no longer needed as a temporary resitance is better than weakening it.

(Latios) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Fire]

An awsome pokemon. I never played ubers but used latias alot in 4th gen so to have her bigger stroger bully of a brother in OU is great a real titan of the game. He outspeeds everything that isnt scarfed and can hit them with a max special attack stab draco meteor to the face. He is normally the one who i try to keep untill the end as his moves can cover most types and can hit hard with his stab move. i choice modest as 477 speed is enough he can also take a hit so there is no need for him to run off scard from another scarfed pokemon. i real asset to the team. If he gets moved back to ubers i will be extremely annoyed but hey his sisters always free ;)

You left, so I guess I will just finish what I started. I am up to Tentacruel.

OK, does this guy come in before Dusclops then? So he can lay spikes meaning Will-O-Wisp is "pointless." Lik I said on my PM, Will-O-Wisp is far from pointless, you get Steels and Poison Types, and sometimes you need to use Dusclops before Tentacruel, and sometimes a status effect is very handy. Scald is good, cant say I have ever seen Rapid Spin on Tentacruel, but you have no other spinner so OK. Hex seems gimmicky. Sludge Bomb would be better IMO. Lets you hit Celebi, Shaymin, and Tangrowth. Its not great though, Giga Drain is cool. Actually, Giga Drain is probably your best option IMO. Note that Surf will OHKO Infernape and 2HKO Heatran, while Scald will fail to do that. Not that Infernape could do much, but Heatran has Earth Power. Metagross can set-up with Hone Claws or Agility and then get you with Zen Headbutt. Chandelure can 2HKO with Psychic and will not take a heap of damage from Scald. Gyarados can set-up DD. Mew can set-up anything. Forretress can stick Hazzards in your face while spinning your TS. Dusclops is great and all but it lets Forretress set-up even more Hazzards. Nothing you can do, every Pokemon has weaknesses.

Heatran set looks good. Good partner for Breloom, will agree, Bronzong too. Have you noticed its gets destroyed by Lati@s with Surf? Well, it does. Thats a bit of a problem actually. Rain Teams really take this guy to town. Thunderous can OHKO with HP Ground once the balloon is popped or else Azumarill can OHKO with Aqua Jet if it has Huge Power + Choice Band which most do. Air Balloon saves you from being destroyed by Excadrill, who can easily outspeed even out of Sand. Starmie can OHKO with Hydro Pump with Specs ir Life Orb. Politoad can OHKO with Hydro Pump in the Rain. Lots of counters, but undeniably good. Still not sure about HP Grass but will take your word for it.

Why do I see no Trick on this Latios set? Trick lets Latios screw over anything if you can predict the switch. Loose Thunderbolt for Trick.

OK, we have talked about everything else I think...I did want to mention Breloom is beaten by scarf kyurem and abomasnow, as well as Hail Teams in general. Another thing, Rain Teams beat this team good. Hail Teams also look to do a bit of damage, but as long as Heatran and Bronzong can stay round, you wont have too many problems. But Rain Teams. Might need to do something about them. Hurricane kills Breloom. Surf kills Heatran and will do good enough damage to Bronzong with the boost tow 2HKO if it is a solid attacker. Thunder kills Tentacruel. I dont know, you just seem weak to Rain.

Anyway, hoped I helped. PM me on Pokemon Online or Smoogon if you want anything in the future. Always happy to help.

Hi.
This is a solid team, but here are a few suggestions: Rain teams can destroy this team, so I would recommend using HP Ice over Gyro Ball so you can take out Tornadus and Thundurus. That way you could take out the genies and then let Breloom take out the waters. Also, try running HP Ice over HP Grass on Heatran. Breloom and Tentacruel can take on water types with ease, and HP Ice would give you another way if dealing with dragons as well as the genies. (just look out for Focus Blast) One more thing: try using Pain Split over Rest on Dusklops. With Dusklops's terrible HP, Pain Split can give you reliable recovery without becoming set-up bait.

Have a nice day :)

I feel a bit uneasy with your Dusclops in sleep. I think you may be better with Pain Split and/or Dusknoir with Leftovers, but that's theorymon.

How many times is Bronzong going to be able to set up screens? If the answer is once (or even twice), then I suggest the use of Explosion to give way for the desire next teammate to keep up the pace. If you can set up multiple times, Levitate would be a better ability because it allows you to switch into earthquakes and earth powers freely, especially on Pokemon it walls or Choiced ones.
