Try rolling the dice with the white mare in BSS Regulation I! Calyrex-I uses Icicle Spear and Bullet Seed in tandem with Loaded Dice to threaten high damage. It is particularly good at breaking Lunala's Shadow Shield as well as Substitute Eternatus and Gliscor sets with Icicle Spear; additionally, it threatens Dondozo and Kyogre with Bullet Seed. High Horsepower threatens Zacian-C and Terastallized Koraidon. Tera Fire provides resistances to Zacian-C's Behemoth Blade and Koraidon's Flare Blitz as well as an immunity to burn from Ho-Oh's Sacred Fire. For Calyrex-I to unlock its true sweeping potential, it must set up Trick Room, leaving it vulnerable to faster, powerful sweepers such as Choice Specs Calyrex-S and Flutter Mane. Lunala and Ursaluna-B are capable of taking a hit from both sweepers and easily revenge killing them while appreciating Trick Room. Alomomola and Hatterene are great partners capable of healing Calyrex-I; Hatterene can even set up Trick Room for it. Koraidon, Zacian-C, and Ho-Oh are also threatening to Calyrex-I, especially when it is unable to Terastallize. Choice Scarf Miraidon can easily KO these foes with its STAB attacks before Calyrex-I proceeds to snowball later in the game.

Besonders effektiv ist es darin, Lunalas Shadow Shield zu durchbrechen sowie Substitute-Sets von Eternatus und Gliscor mit Icicle Spear zu zerschlagen. Zudem setzt es Dondozo und Kyogre mit Bullet Seed stark unter Druck. High Horsepower bedroht Zacian-C und terakristallisierte Koraidon. Tera Feuer verleiht Resistenzen gegen Zacian-Cs Behemoth Blade und Koraidons Flare Blitz sowie eine Immunität gegen Verbrennungen durch Ho-Ohs Sacred Fire. Um sein volles Sweeping-Potenzial zu entfalten, muss Calyrex-I jedoch Trick Room einsetzen, wodurch es anfällig für schnellere, starke Sweeper wie Choice Specs-Calyrex-S und Flutter Mane wird. Lunala und Ursaluna-B können jeweils einen Treffer von beiden einstecken und sie anschließend leicht revengekillen, während sie selbst von Trick Room profitieren. Alomomola und Hatterene sind hervorragende Partner, die Calyrex-I heilen können. Hatterene kann sogar selbst Trick Room für es einsetzen. Auch Koraidon, Zacian-C und Ho-Oh stellen eine große Bedrohung für Calyrex-I dar, insbesondere wenn es nicht terakristallisieren kann. Choice Scarf-Miraidon ist in der Lage, diese Gegner mit seinen STAB-Attacken zuverlässig auszuschalten, sodass Calyrex-I im späteren Spielverlauf ungehindert ins Rollen kommen kann.
