Lunala @ Choice Specs
Ability: Shadow Shield
Level: 50
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moongeist Beam
- Moonblast
- Trick
- Moonlight

The lunar queen sets itself apart from Calyrex-S with its excellent defensive capabilities via Shadow Shield. This set takes advantage of Lunala's impressive bulk to fire off incredibly powerful Choice Specs-boosted attacks. Thanks to Moongeist Beam's ability-nullifying effect, Lunala proves very difficult to switch into. Moonblast complements this by hitting the various Dark- and Normal-types that would otherwise thwart Lunala's Moongeist Beam. Lunala can use Trick to effectively disable something that might otherwise wall it while also allowing a teammate setup opportunity later. Moonlight may seem odd on a Choice Specs set, but it allows Lunala to stay healthy throughout a longer game and regain Shadow Shield, allowing it to trade blows with something like Miraidon or Koraidon later. Tera Fairy is crucial for allowing Lunala to survive the many Dark- and Ghost-type attacks aimed at it while granting it STAB on Moonblast. This set pairs particularly well with Koraidon, which can overwhelm teams weakened by Lunala's assault while bolstering its defensive prowess by supercharging Moonlight recovery with the sun it sets.

Only thing sorta off to me is, I feel like even though this isn't like defensive Lunala sets that HEAVILY benefit from Koraidon's sun, it still feels like its worth mentioning to me, especially since unlike the Miraidon mention, Koriadon puts a lot of Tera pressure on Dark-types (especially Ting-Lu) which Lunala appreciates. Not sure if that'll be an issue with the character limit though!

Otherwise looks good to me, QC Approved!
