What is the bug?
A while ago when I played more, I was ranked at 1860. I stopped playing for a while so elo decay took over, putting my true rank at about 1600s when I checked back again. After playing one game, I realised the game pitted me against another 1800 player, rather than putting my up against a 1600s player.
This has happened again on the 4th of January here, where I am also confused as to why my rank is below 1500, despite any games as 1 I had not played any prior games from coming back 2 I did not lost the game I just played
Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
As explained in the previous section, am I able to recreate the situation by letting the elo decay on my account for some time, and my elo does not match me with players that are of my true rank.
The website rank and the account rank are different, pitting me against opponents who are harder to play against befitting my true elo decayed rank, and for not as much elo as I should be gaining for winning. This is mildly annoying as if I want to get back into battling again, I must face more difficult opponents to get back to where I was initially.
I am using a brave browser. Please let me know if I need to do anything else to fix the issue.
